    Hello! I have the impression of having dreamed and this is often the case when we drive at night far from any light pollution. As for these colors, a touch of magic! In terms of lighting, as for the headlamps, I always have the removable battery + 3xAAA rechargeable batteries to replace it and the Fenix flashlight (the side-rear one with the fluorescent orange cone) also with removable batteries. I don't have any device with a fixed battery even my Samsung smartphone has a removable battery = durability and reliability. Thank you for this magnificent film where we feel like we have been at your side! Enjoy summer time^^

    The rest are either lochs or tarns.

    Just wondering the cause of these rural lakes being not so clean? Farming waste etc? I was born and raised and live in the state of MN( Minnesota), once known as the land of 10,000( now 14,000 lakes) including Lake Superior which is considered an inland sea. Our lakes are still very clean and some pristine..thanks for sharing your adventures!

    • @joshandsarahride
      @joshandsarahride  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Unfortunately this is becoming more common, windermere, the largest of the lakes in the Lakes districts is no longer considered clean. These ones I think atw consider more ecologically sound. What is it like in minnesota? Are the lakes considered clean?

    • @susannewhirley8709
      @susannewhirley8709 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@joshandsarahride yes our lakes are very clean, statewide. There are some lakes around the Twin Cities that probably aren't as clean as the outlying lakes. Alot of our lakes are glacial..we have great fishing and the Walleye Pike is our state fish..excellent eating. After watching some of your bike trips, I needed a nap!

      Windermere is also a town! To add to the confusion it is about 1.5 miles from the lake. The town by the lake is Bowness on Windermere. It’s all the fault of the railway which ended here. It was meant to continue into Ambleside but objectors and cost stopped it. So that people would know where they were when they got off the train they called it Windermere except it’s not! I live there and frequently get asked by visitors , “where is the lake?”
