Watched a few of your videos now. You are both such lovely people sharing you're life in one of the most beautiful parts of the world. Thank you for sharing with us all. Love and light.
🇬🇧❤️ Beautiful kittens ,😍 they are eating fast, it's time yous, wormed them, plus flea collars & ticks.. & then a litter tray. Sarah, loving your veg beds, & you've kept the Bunnies off them 🐰🐰 well done. 😉 The views again are stunning.
They are very sweet. Yes they're treated for worms and fleas very regularly. They had a lot of worms at first being wild but all clear now. And the litter trays were introduced very early on 😅 we don't actually see too many rabbits around here. Neighbours have said they've seen less and less over the years. Not too sure why.
Just found you both, it's so lovely finding you. Getting to know you and the simple life you lead, as in not the big house, possessions, money. It is refreshing you're home is so lived in and cosy, love the videos and you come across as such a friendly couple best wishes.😊
Glad to have found you and so grateful for your videos. My husband and myself, up until last year had a static caravan at Clea Hall holiday park for years, just above Caldbeck. I recognise a lot of the areas near where you live, and miss it very much. It’s a beautiful less touristy place in the Lakes. I admire your courage and sense of adventure. Hope you get your 50k and able to do what you do full time.🙂🙏
I love watching - I now live in Queensland Australia - I lived in Cumbria as a child - my Dads family are from Cockermouth and around Keswick - the Lake District is my favourite place in the world - watching you there brings back happy memories for me - love your videos
I love how passionate and enthusiastic you are about everything, not just cycling also your love of nature is evident in all the wonderful photographs you take. Your videos are very enjoyable and I'm sure your channel will continue to grow and grow. Best wishes.
Thankyou for your great videos. A coffee table book would be a great idea. Great photos with your video voice-over written down. All the best for the future.
I agree with what others have already said: your story telling and filming is really good. A book of photos would be really nice. Your photos really capture the moments of your surroudings, such as the small details, as well as the larger landscape imagery.
Your channel is a magnificent example of living fully and joyfully and you two exquisite people are so radiant in your happiness that it truly is felt all the way here in Brooklyn, NY. I’m utterly inspired. May I add that your video is a magnificent living book of photography, so alive and so accessible in this format of video. I would think that if you do publish a book that it will transport itself to those people who have not yet discovered you here on You Tube, and will provide another platform for your photography to be experienced ( in bookstores, etc). However, nothing can compare with the video and seeing you both and listeningto your narration and seeing your two light filled faces expressing your fulfillment at days’ end. You have such a unique and exquisite channel and your beings are so alive with living your dream. Thank you🙏🕊🙏🕊
Wow this was truly inspiring to read, thank you! I’m so happy to have come across your channel a couple of months ago! I subscribed immediately! Your videos are wonderful and I’m always amazed by Sarah. It doesn’t seem to matter what the situation is, good or bad, Sarah puts a positive spin on it and flashes a big smile. Such a wonderful approach to life. I’m not surprised that you work in mental health. Josh, your filming is amazing and a book of nature photography would be wonderful I’m sure. Keep up the great work!
Really glad you found us and really glad you like the videos. Getting out in nature brings us so much happiness and is such a source of inspiration. Even if it can be challenging at times it always fills our cup up. Great you'd love to see a photography book, are there any things you'd really like to see in it?
Love watching your videos me and my husband did so much cycling in the 70's just like you guys are doing now. But the technology wasn't there but that's life we had fun did what we loved as you both are however our bikes where much heavier and all our equipment was too canvas tent you get the idea things have moved on so much things are so much lighter but what happy days good luck to you both I love your videos and look forward to seeing where your adventure takes you both . xx
Sounds like a very enjoyable life 🚲 yes a canvas tent alone would've added so much weight! Definitely a lot lighter now which means we can take what we need with us. Thank you
I just found you yesterday you are both wonderful. I grew up in England in the 1970s early 80s I live in America now. I was training back then for bike racing in the milk race but I found myself in youthful trouble and lost my way. I haven’t ridden since you have inspired me to get back out there thank you both.
What part of England did you grow up in? It's the biggest source if inspiration for us to hear we've encouraged others to get out. Sounds like riding used to be a big part of your life. I hope it can bring the same level of fulfillment
Hi Josh and Sarah , love watching you both get out and about in nature and actually live only about 20 miles from where you are at the moment but before you know it you will be off on your travels as time flys , make the most of it whilst you are young and still in good health !Where you are presently living is beautiful, walked to Bowscale Tarn a few times , even saw a lady ice skating on there one year . The sound of just the wind and trickle of water as you turn the corner and see the tarn in front of you is amazing. Nature at its best ! Loved the vlog you did in Penrith the other week and some of your photos of the autumn colours, specially near the stone bridge were great . Look forward to watch what you get up to next x
Thanks so much! Bowscake tarn is really beautiful. Amazing you saw someone ice skating on it. We've never seen it frozen over, maybe this year if it's cold enough. It's feeling nippy at the moment. I really love the autumn colours and feel they're quite precious to capture as they're not here for too long. Thank you so much for the support 🙂
No bother, offering my support . Really interested in people who love nature and want to live life in a different way to the normal mundane way in society! Don’t become sheep , just cycle and walk amongst them 😊 Think there are now a lot of people who are fascinated and also a bit envious of what you and now quite a few other people are doing in choosing a different way in life . Wish you both all the luck x
This was lovely! Your shots are so beautiful! ❤️ and congratulations in reaching 18K subscribers! As the weather gets colder, my husband and I are more inclined to stay inside (we love cycling and running), but seeing you push yourselves to get out in these months gets me motivated! Next week I’ll go for my weekly run now 🥰 sending you so much love from Yorkshire! x
Thank you! It's the biggest inspiration to hear that it encourages you to get out. It is difficult when it's colder but it always feels better to, I think. Also there's a really beauty to bright, crisp winter days
Hi josh. Sorry I didn't chat the other day at Whelpo when I said hello. I was having a low day over some recent bad news. Plus you and Sarah appeared en route so didn't want to impose. I play guitar, and write music too. It's an essential part of the day. Ironically a recent release was about a recent trip to the Cairngorms too. I also work online. Hope u both ok 🙂 D
Hey 👋 no worries at all. Sorry to hear you had some bad news. Sounds like the guitar is a good way to unwind for you as I find also. Very cool you writs music, where can I check out your latest release about thr Cairngorms, that sounds awesome. All the best 🙂

Hi guys thanks for this latest video and letting us know more about you both and your day to day lives, the fact you have 10,000 subscribers really is down to the fact your both so chilled and easy to watch and listen to as it’s not forced in any way and no hidden agendas behind the channel like so many on social media can be these days. Those two cats adorable and with your chilled out ways they’ll eventually be on your laps keeping you warm all night 😊 I reckon the photography book would be an absolutely brilliant idea and I’d definitely be buying one, keep the content coming as it’s so refreshing and relaxing to sit and watch you guys peddling in all sorts of weather and still having big smiles on your faces 😊
Thanks so much 🙂 comments like this really inspire us! The cats are slowly coming around but let's just say they're very keen on their personal space 😅 awesome that' you'd be interested in a photography book. Curious if there are certain things you'd prefer to see in one? Thanks for the support!

So happy to see you guys doing so well, and living in my neck of the woods! I'm back up over the Christmas period so would be great to see you if you guys are about X
Another lovely video from my new favourites! I just love how you guys are utilizing this platform to share your passion for the outdoors, riding and just living a damn good life! Your storytelling and the way you capture everything is so beautiful! Also, I had a thought - if not a book (yet) with your fantastic photography, how about a calendar? Having your stunning landscape shots on display each month would be pretty wonderful 🙂
I love this video and have watched it several times. I am heading towards retirement and want to get outdoors and change my life and have lots of adventures. You have inspired me 😍
I never had a bike as a child, I never learned to ride one. Some years ago my daughter encouraged me to learn. She walking alongside of me. Sufficeth to say that hour was traumatic to both of us :) so I cycle vicariously through you both. 😃. On a world tour , what would your families requests be about contact, and which safety precautions will you yourselves implement?. I love to see the little bit of Sarah opening the window. I feel oh what will we see today. Quite evocative for some reason. Is it possible to have that at the beginning of each episode ?. No pressure at all. 🙂. Blessings to you both. Re the question about a book. I have wondered if it would be feasible to buy a print of a photograph Josh ?.
It is something that is difficult to pick up. Sounds like your daughter is very encouraging though and although it may take time I think with practice it can come. Really glad you liked that shot 🪟 Prints is also something we've considered. Arw there any you'd particularly like to see?
@@joshandsarahride Hello Josh and Sarah thank you for your reply. I particularly enjoy your starlight ones and frosty scenes. Though all of your works are good Josh. Even the scene sans Sarah with the window open looking outwards would be lovely. You have so many great photos to choose from. Oh and your stone stairs too. How many feet have trodden those I wonder?. Blessings to you both.
You are truly blessed 🙌 God's beautiful creations all around you. Hello from Humboldt county in Northern California. I'm also surrounded by Giant Redwoods and the Sea 🌊 🌲Jesus Joy 😊!!
Love your content folks. Loving the veggies. You're a natural Sarah! Please consider worming the kitties often if not already wormed. I'm rural and have five rescue cats. They help keep mice at bay but worming therefore essential. Random pukes can indicate a burden 🌿🦋
Thank you so much 😁 yes we do worm them regularly. They had quite a few when we first took them in 🪱 5 sound like a handful! I bet they're so cute to have playing about.
Another great video. Really like the slow pace of the videos. Really just a bit of time to enjoy and hang out with you guys. BTW Josh, (bit of a random one) where did you get your jumper from? Really nice.
This was fun to watch! Making videos is a very creative activity, and for creative people (who are already making things) it's another outlet. It's quite addictive! Your photos and videos are lovely. It's fascinating to watch young adults like yourselves, loosely attached to place but strongly attached to nature ... and then I just watched a video of a woman and her family who live on an island in the Faroe chain. Her family has lived alone on that island for 8 generations. Just as attached to nature, but in a very different way. Do you think you'll ever settle in one place?
Thank you so much. Sounds like you too appreciate the creativity and storying relling of videos? Perhaps we may settle at some point, but for the time being we have big dreams to see the world. Who knows what the future holds and maybe we'll find ourselves somewhere we'll struggle to leave.
We go into this in the video but we working online, with j doing freelance and I, Sarah, work on a mental health crisis line. Glad you liked the video 😀
Now it depends what type of photography book you are thinking. If just your photos then yes to a book but if it’s about creative photography that’s something that would probably work better as a video then it’s easy for folk to reference. Dead cute to see the wee ferals still having their happy bottle brushes when feeding. Most domestic kittens grow out of that pretty quickly. Also isn’t it interesting how you can be a cyclist striving for speed but once you start doing off road and photography that seems to go out the window and you slow down.
We were thinking more a book of photos rather than how to take photos. The kittens are growing slowly and are so playful, which is very sweet. Yes it is curious and we definitely prefer it this way. I guess it took some time but we've found a pace that works and means we get to really enjoy our natural surroundings.

Good morning I grew up in a village called Hollinsgreen Cheshire and thank you for your interest @@joshandsarahride
Coffee table book is a great idea.
@@joshandsarahride definitely! 😄

I don't want to take focus away from your videos though. So I can remove this reply once you have found the song. Let me know 🙂
Hi guys thanks for this latest video and letting us know more about you both and your day to day lives, the fact you have 10,000 subscribers really is down to the fact your both so chilled and easy to watch and listen to as it’s not forced in any way and no hidden agendas behind the channel like so many on social media can be these days.
Came across your videos a few weeks back. Love the slower pace of life and enjoyment of nature you advocate. Keep up the good work! My partner is a you tuber with 125k subscribers. It absolutely can be done as a lifestyle. Good luck!
Thank you! Maybe one day we hope. Congratulations to your partner 🎉
Ive recently found your videos and I really enjoy them. Im working back through the last year of videos. Your photographs i agree would make a fantastic book. Keep growing your confidence as you are doing great. 🎉
Thanks so much 🙂
Love watching you life :)
Thank you 😁
In comparison to your early rough vlogs these are now epic mini movies.great job.very genuine😊
Thank you! Trying to get better with each one📽
Love watching your videos. Love from London.

Loved this one! Your filming and story telling is brilliant 😊🌞✨
I really! enjoy your videos…. Do keep going
So happy to see you guys doing so well, and living in my neck of the woods! I'm back up over the Christmas period so would be great to see you if you guys are about X
Hey Jack man, thanks so much. Be great to see ya! Do you mean up Cumbria way or down in yhr south? Hope all is good!
@@joshandsarahride I'll be back up in Cumbria in the second half of December and probably over New Year if you guys are about
Another lovely video from my new favourites!
Thank you and this is an awesome idea! We'll have to consider this, thank you!
great place to live been total bias coming from kendal keep doing your vlogs love watching you both
I’d love a calendar of your photos!! So beautiful 🤩
When you go travelling will you have to give up the cottage?
That's great, thank you! Yes we will, we are just renting so someone else will have the joy of living here.
A book would be such a wonderful idea!
Thank you! Anything you'd particularly like to see in it?
Your photos are lovely
I love this video and have watched it several times. I am heading towards retirement and want to get outdoors and change my life and have lots of adventures. You have inspired me 😍
Thank you! 🙂
Really glad you liked that shot 🪟
Prints is also something we've considered. Arw there any you'd particularly like to see?

Hello Josh and Sarah thank you for your reply.
Would love to see a book of your photography. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you! Anything you'd particularly like to see in it?
Great video

Following from Shrewsbury - congratulations on 10k… oh wait, nearly 20k!!! 🎉 beautiful content ❤
a book is a good idea! my 1st week of finding you.
What sort of book would you like to see? Glad you found us 😁
photography perhaps of your trips
Another great video. Really like the slow pace of the videos. Really just a bit of time to enjoy and hang out with you guys. BTW Josh, (bit of a random one) where did you get your jumper from? Really nice.
Thank you 😁 do you mean the red jumper? It was a hand me down from Sarah's grandad and is originally from fat face. The gilet is cotopaxi 🙂
@@joshandsarahride Sarah's Grandad has some style....haha. Cheers fella.
Love the videos guys.
Love to watch the way you experience life. Is you tube your work? Or do you have typical jobs that you must bike to?
Then just a book. Always scope for a video on how you film your videos and how laborious it is.
Hi, who looks after the kittens when you are away? Thanks
We have a very kind neighbour who feeds them but they are very shy with people their not familiar with.
Well done guys up to 20k now ..sorry I missed this been a mad few weeks. My question would be how many km you rode this year. Atb Coops 👍🏻👍🏻🚴🚴
Ah we don't actually know how many we've ridden this year 🚲 a good question and one we'd love to know the answer too as well!
