My man, my girl dropped a dang diamond earring on the driver side between the seat and middle console in a metal track im guessing is attatched to the seat. I could see it, stuck tweasars n went to grab it now i can't see it lol. I checked under n everything i have to remove the seat huh? 2016 legacy
Oof, yeah that rail is the slider. As far as I know you can't disassemble the rails so you are probably going to have to remove the seat and shake it out
Thank fucking god for this video. I worked on the one electric connection, the one with the yellow and white, for about an hour and a half and couldn’t find anything online about how to get it disconnected
Did I say all the seats? No. But since you asked so nicely here you go: Remove the lower part first, there are two brackets on the front held with 10mm(IIRC) bolts, once you take these out the whole lower cushion will lift out, pull the front up first and then lift it out. Once that is out you will see four similar brackets holding the bottom part of the seat back, two are at the outside and two near the middle. Remove the bolts, and pull the seat back up to release the hooks that hold it in at the top. Slide the seat belts out of the way and it will be free to come out. You may need to fold down the pass-through. Guide with images: www.iwsti.com/threads/removing-rear-seat.85669/

the green doo dad trick at 3:23...THANK YOU!!!
Haha of course!

Glad to hear it!
Great tip on the bolt covers at 2:24
Glad that you found it helpful!!
Kroils works wonders for rusty bolts.
Good to know, I haven't heard of that brand before.
Its a type of oil you spray on the bolt and let it soak for a bit and it makes them a lot easier to unscrew.
Yeah it’s a penetrating oil I’ll give it a go and see if it works any better than the rest haha
Wait the drivers seat is heated??
Haha yeah! We got a heated drivers seat up here in Canada!
@@Chase_Schrader I have that connector on the driver's seat that the passenger doesn't have, but no heated seat
Strange, is it a Canadian car? What year?
@@Chase_Schrader No Subaru if America. 2004.
Oh yeah, the USA cars didn't get the heating seat, probably missing the wiring in the car
