usually when you do a fuel filter you either remove the gas cap to relieve fuel pressure in the lines or remove the fuel pump fuse, run the car till it dies then you know you don't have pressure or fuel that will come out when you remove the lines.Just a heads up for next time.I know he didn't mention this when he did it.
straight to the point video👍
You must be friends with Ron at RS Motors!!! He is a great guy!!!
Easy to understand, and well spoken. Thank you.
Awesome, simple, no bs video. Thank you!
Thank god i have 2003 impreza simple serviceable fuel filter , newer ones have filter in fuel tank and to swap that out can be pain in the ass !
Is there another one in the fuel tank?
i planing to replace also, but oem vs original fuel filter huge difference in price, oem same to use without problem izit?
What would one of these cars be worth 2002 wrx . I'm looking at one and he's asking $5,500. He's second owner, unmolested/ no mods. Everything works and no body damage. It looks real nice. Is that a good price? 160,000 miles
Decent, just know a lot of work coming in another 20-30k miles lol
Yeah that’s a super good deal
Actually a good bit of work prolly needs done now
I hope you bought that
@@martinkiefer8406 I did. :)
What strut tower brace is that? Looks beefy as hell
Appreciate this, thank you. And yes '02/'03 are identical.
Did you use a 8mm id fuel pipe for new one. I need to order one and most places say 8mm internal diameter.
My car is throwing a code P0171 it's misfiring I've just ordered a fuel filter I hope this fixes the issue thanks for the video
Did it work? I have the same issue
Thanks 👍
Thanks my F150 is running like new!
same on the impreza rs n/a ?
Awesome video! Thanx for the info!
Does the fuel tank need to be close to empty to do this, or can you change the filter when it is mostly full?
Fuel level does not matter. There will be fuel pressure on the line either-way, so be careful.
how did you know you had to change it?
It is just part of normal maintenance. Check your owners manual for service intervals.
Oh alright. Reason I asked was because my car is giving me power issues. (2002 wrx)
Boosted Films at around 4K RPMs my car drops revs and picks back up.
Have a similar issue - drops revs. Did changing the filter help?
Boosted Films normal maintenance.
Those cocks at subaru put the fuel filter IN THE GAS TANK!
How are you suppose to maintain that???
Subaru so easy, but u suppose to run car without fuel pump relay for pressure to run out n gas cap off.
Poor thing. Please hit that engine bay with some simple green and a pressure washer!!!
sohchx that thing clean af
doesnt work...pliers are useless
