After I drive with these seats at a track event and a few days on the street going to be doing a few updates and a live Q&A about the seats on my Instagram so be sure to follow me!!! instagram.com/chrisfixit/
Hey Chris, just wanted to let you know that on the radio today, the hosts were talking about things they've learned from TH-cam, and one of the guys had said they watched one of your videos to fix the starter on his truck :) keep up the awesome work buddy!
Wow Bro, I have no intention of racing or driving on a track. Now that you've shown how to use the stock seat belts, I'm going to replace the worn out seats in my S10 with these seats. Thanks!
@@hairlessape4863 People should know it's pretty impractical, it removes the seat airbags if you have any, makes it much harder to get in and out of, depending on how deep it goes. Also, on average they're pretty snug and made for more athletic builds. All that, plus the costs, and you can see why they're not that common, these seats in the video are $800 each.
I changed the playback speed to 0.75 and this man be talking at a regular speed. Now I know why I love the videos, this information feels naturally compressed: zero wasted air. I'm learning so much about cars and I think I'm starting to get a taste for loving your vehicle, even though it's a cheap Honda Jazz 2018, it's mine and I can take care of it. Thank you Chris!
Savage Nation thats the most easiest thing to change in your car i guess... I made for my mom a steering wheel from a steering wheel for gaming... Just the steer and the buttons (A,X,Y,B) are for her gps... Phone... Radio... And stuff like that it was fun and hard to make but now she has a nice ass xbox steering wheel :)
it doesnt has an air bag and idk butthere are a lot of wheels without an airbag xD and idk if its trong enough... my mom drives safe so she wont fly off the road... she only could get hitted by a truck... xD
wow that's a REALLY bad idea. Gaming wheels are made of plastic and not made to withstand actual road driving forces. Car steering wheels have a metal core inside the rim to withstand road forces, but also break away in case of impact. If you love your mom I would put that steering wheel back to stock ASAP.
Exceptional DIY video. I've been wanting to have racing/buckets seats in my car for a long time and wasn't able to see it for myself until I encountered this video. Definitely learned something as I'm not a DIYer. You make it look so simple and easy especially with the entire walk through, step by step process. Definitely a plus with the narration too.
Howdy Chris! Hope the seats are treating you well! Your channel, so far, has saved not only myself, but also my girlfriend over $1,000 this year alone in repair costs. From restoring headlights to changing oil and tires, and so, so much more. I was wondering if you plan on doing a "super clean your interior" video, since you have one for the exterior and automotive glass (both tactics, by the way, are awesome).
Awesome that is what I love hearing! Glad the videos are helpful! I need to find a car with a dirty interior so I can make a video on how to super clean it!
Chris... Other ytbers does vids like this but get a clean car and clean it again so u dont see a difference but u loom for filthy cars and clean them or fix them.
ChrisFix if you want too. My 1992 Mazda Miata has a VERY dirty interior such as stains and damp carpets to a crusty steering wheel haha. I live in toms river New Jersey so it's not a far drive and I think my car would be a great car for the video idea of super cleaning an interior! Please email me at ***** or Dm me on Instagram @mazdarati.jp if you'd like to come out and do it!

I just realised your videos are perfect for wrapping your head around how to do things like this. For example a 13 year old who happens to aspire to do this one day, they would have no idea how to do this without any prior knowledge or experience with tools or bolts. But with these videos they would be able to understand how to do it without that prior experience.
Chris, where did you get the fire extinguisher and bracket setup from? I want to put one on my truck, but I don't want to have to bolt into the plastic on the wall behind my seat.

ChrisFix is it possible to have a six point harness with a roll cage while still keeping the back seats available for passengers? Or no, once you add a roll cage the car can only hold 2 people.
You know, i just got myself a car, i'm a little too tall for, so my "headroom" is way to small, i can't sit straight upright.. I already set the height of the stock seat to the lowest possible setting, but it's still an inch or so too high for me... Hey chris! I wanted to know where you get all the factory specs for torquing bolts, because I am working on my Toyota 80 series and I haven't found that information
I love watching these video's. Being a fellow Chris makes them that much better. Although I'm sure my age is more in line with being a parent. I know it may sound strange but I love the click when the bolt hits the target tightness, when using a torque wrench. I think of it as the sound of success!!

I love watching these video's. Being a fellow Chris makes them that much better. Although I'm sure my age is more in line with being a parent. I know it may sound strange but I love the click when the bolt hits the target tightness, when using a torque wrench. I think of it as the sound of success!!

After he went through the trouble to rewrap the stock one, seems like a moot point to pull it back off and bolt another one on.
Fsilone he went through that for a video that was helpful to alot of people but now would be a good time to get a new one
He needs the airbag
