Very nice commentary and since you've had a chance to see them on MTV, I would suggest their VMA aftermovie where you get to see them as real people and the reaction of the MTV production manager when he comments (on a live mic) when they are leaving the stage. Their young age and lightheartedness shows up throughout. Getting ready for the red carpet for the first time in their lives and fitting into custom outfits for the red carpet with Dany saying, "I can't breath and I can't feel my feet but I'm so happy". They are so "normal" in their BTS.

MTV was not prepared for The Warning and only two or three people in the audience knew who they were. Placed in front of the crowd to act as cheerleaders. All the MTV performers were allowed three takes, but The Warning nailed their two songs on the first take. The only ones to do so. They gained more fans after their appearance on MTV. And Yes, the drummer can sing lead while drumming. Nothing will prepare you for her performance of Dust to Dust or Narcisista.

You've been Warned! They are awesome child prodigy's who have risen to a level that most bands take far longer to reach. They started as kids and they were amazing even back then and have only improved consistently year to year. They put out two independently produced albums as teenagers then got a record label contract for 5 albums the first of which Error is amazing the next one I believe comes out in June. Evolve is also my favorite song ❤The Warning.

  • @williamburkholder769

This band is extremely special. They have no bad songs. Album #4 drops June 28. These ladies have incorporated metal, hard rock, rock and roll, pop, K-Pop, swing, jazz, prog... into various songs they have written and recorded. They are likely the most important rock band of Gen Z. If you get a chance, watch or react to any or all 22 songs from the live Teatro Metropolitan CDMX (The Metropolitan Theater in Mexico City) 08/29/2022 concert. That is one of THE BEST concert videos ever recorded. The sound is mixed in post from multi-track audio recorded from each sound source, so it is pristine. The same crew worked with them on all their recent videos. Watch *Hell You Call a Dream* Live from Pepsi Center at their tenth anniversary show, or the latest song to drop, *Automatic Sun.* Those are pure fire.

Superb 2nd reaction to The Warning Juliett!
The Villarreal-Velez sisters are amazing songwriters and performers from Mexico who live in Monterrey, San Pedro Garza Garcia, Nuevo Leon. Each one of their original songs is great. Their second album, "QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love; from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and the fight over her soul. It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards.
Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI CENTURY BLOOD", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. The video for the title track, "XXI Century Blood", was nominated for and won many awards.
Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "ESCAPE THE MIND"; and it is amazing.
Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage.
After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group in the fall of 2020.
They decided to release 1/2 (6 songs) of their completed 3rd full-length album in an EP called "MAYDAY" October 8th, 2021. The entire album was released June 24th, 2022: called "ERROR". "Disciple" is my favorite track!
They are going to release their 4th studio album "KEEP ME FED" June 28th, 2024. And 5 singles off the new album have already been released: "MORE", "SICK", "HELL YOU CALL A DREAM", "QUE` MA`S QUIERES", and recently "AUTOMATIC SUN".
The Warning do not come from a family of musicians, however, their parents are huge fans of classic rock.
Both parents are professionals (recording engineer and dentist) and they enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic English Bilingual school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico.
They also started the girls with classical piano lessons at ages 6, 4 and 5 years old.
Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC.
When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. Shortly thereafter they got real instruments with lessons from professional teachers: and the rest is history. Amazing they are 24, 22 and 19 years old and have already written, arranged, and released #51 original songs (not including the remaining songs from the upcoming 4th studio album).
Drummer Paulina writes around 75% of The Warning's songs. Most of her songs begin in rock ballad form; starting with a concept, then chord progression, melody and basic song structure on the piano. She may only have a verse and a chorus when she brings it before her sisters. Together they transpose each instrument's part and "rockify" the song. They complete any lyrics, bridges and any arranging, etc. making changes along the way. A 2/3 approval vote of each instrument's part and each vocal harmony before it becomes a completed song. Paulina has said if not for her sisters, her songs would be different. Both guitarist Daniela and bassist Alejandra write equally great songs; just not as many.
Drummer Paulina recently won Drumeo's 2023 Rock Drummer of the Year and won Best Up and Coming Artist in Modern Drummer Magazine's recent reader's poll.
I was fortunate enough to get to meet them after their show January 16th, 2020 at The Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, California. I had the opportunity to meet with them 3 more times during the 10 shows I attended on their 2022 North American MAYDAY Tour and 2023 ERROR WORLD TOUR. I have talked with their parents on 2 occasions and have had many conversations with their manager Rudy.
Aside from their music, they are just normal, sweet, intelligent, and fun-loving young ladies who are truely grateful and endearing to their fans.
I think you will enjoy reacting to their latest single - AUTOMATIC SUN - that was released a week ago. It is live concert video footage over the studio recording.
Also... grab yourself a ticket to one of shows (if they're not already sold-out). They will be in your neck of the woods very soon. You will be glad you did!
🗣 Thank you for sharing your TW discovery with us!
    🤘☺️❤

If you want to watch one of their official music videos, it's hard to do better than Sick. I think that may be the only song of theirs where I prefer the MV over the live performances. Or maybe also Choke, possibly. In general, live is their strong suit. Their first really *big* performance, I think, was the TEDx talk, with three songs; it's still legendary.
Other groups very much worth checking out (if you don't already know their work) include Bloodywood (Indian folk metal), Halestorm (rock band; but their music influenced The Warning), VoicePlay (ridiculous theatrical acapella), Babymetal, 2 Cellos, Namewee, David Bruce, and of course there's always Weird Al Yankovic.

    Daniela, Paulina and Alejandra...
    The Warning.
They have nothing to do with other inflated and artificially marketed bands around the world.
They are the youngest veteran artists in the world of rock.
Metallica, Foo Fighters, Def Leppard, Guns 'N' Roses and Muse are just some of the famous bands that have been very pleasantly surprised by TW's talented proposal, as well as all those fans who have sold out their concerts in the United States, Colombia, Peru, Chile and Argentina...
In addition to Germany, Spain, France, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom.
No, I'm not talking about the rock festivals, where they were also very successful, but where they headlined and were the main attraction.
Muse was so impressed with the young ladies who opened their concerts in Mexico, that they invited them to continue with them on their tour of Europe and even in their own country, the United Kingdom.
It's redundant to say, but they were also very successful.
Among TW's fans are musicians, music producers, sound engineers, roadies, vocal coaches, music critics, etc., from all over the world.
In addition, and no less important, they are the first Latin American band to sign with a top-level international record label (UNIVERSAL MUSIC).
And just to mention it superficially, what happened at the MTV VMAs was spectacular, as they impressed (impacted) the production staff and everyone who witnessed it very positively, the Director exclaimed at the end of "Evolve":
    "... Holly Shit, I'm a fan now!! ..."
Other collaborators from the same production heard this and told it to the girls... and there is video evidence of it. .
Around the world, budding rock groups are covering the band, including Asia and Australia.
And all this is being done by Dany, Pau and Ale being very young and on their own merits, with discipline and professionalism.
What they didn't do was to stagnate only in the field of rock in their own language, which is the "ceiling" in which other Spanish-speaking groups have always been limited... Or that they have failed.
It's such a talented all-female band that they don't "exploit" their sexuality, they are educated, humble and very good human beings with a truly exemplary attitude.
This year they are playing as head-liners in several European countries where several have already sold out and have even had to change venues for others with greater capacity.
And they will also perform at the "Wacken Open Air" 2024 in Germany, the most important metal festival and at the "Pol'and'Rock" festival in Poland, which is considered the biggest music festival in Europe and they will be there on the main stage.
This summer they will go to Japan where they have 3 dates and on the first day they will have collaboration with the local band Band-Maid which is generating great expectations and is very justified.
For now I'm subscribing to your channel because I hope to see many reactions from you to my favorite band of all time.
Thanks and greetings from México!! 🇲🇽

In my long life, I'd suggest to the younger gen, listen/watch the studio recording first, here on the internet.
Then wait and listen/watch the live version afterword to truly rate what's better or whatever.
I grew up during the FM radio play of new songs, then you might see it on Dick Clarks American Band Stand show.
Soon after the 45rpm record "single" showed up at your local department store which cost you 75cents and you then owned your own copy.

If you are enjoying The Warning might give Plush a listen. They toured with The Warning last year. I would recommend either Hate or Left Behind. Moriah has a phenomenal voice.

Did you that Pau (the drummer) write most of songs and lyrics on piano and brings it back to the two sister and compleate the song with them.

They were not nominated for any MTV award. They played at a secondary venue and parts of 2 songs were played during the main show. Pepsi/Doritos asked MTV to add The Warning as they are sponsoring them on tour. They made a lot of new fans that night. Great exposure for the girls!!

They were told the MTV MVA audience was totally blown away. Their answer: Means we did our job right! Sad that MTV snubbed them after this performance in favor of the pop divas. BTW - the catch to the live performances is the energy they generate. They could power a small city for months. This song: you think it's hit the ceiling...and it goes smashing through the roof at light speed.

The absolute best song you should react to the drummer Pau singing is "23" live from the Teatro Metropolitan (as others have mentioned),as this song more than any other Pau sings, shows off her drummer and singing capabilities best..."Dust To Dust" is great, but lyrically a bit repetitive, whereas with "23" you will hear Pau will take her vocals to the limit. Dany, the lead singer of the band is one of the best rock vocalists out there, but Pau is no slouch when it comes to doing some of her power ballads like "23".
