Wow this is the most enjoyable interview of them I have seen. Got them all enthused, not the usual stuff they have done hundreds of times before, really brought out their fun loving personalities. And on top of that, heard them talk about things I haven't heard before, and I pretty much devour everything they come out with. Especially surprised by news of going to Nashville next month for a writing session. Totally new info to me. Thank you very, very much. I particularly love the thing about not believing it when crazy good things are happening. When everyone around you is telling you that you're the greatest, the worst mistake you can make is to actually believe the things people are saying about you. I love watching interviews with these three humble and talented ladies. Pau is a tiny ball of energy, and I can just imagine her as a teenager going into a class with people who are older. I've also seen their early music videos where the bass is almost as big as Ale. I hope they come to the UK one day.
That was a really good interview, with terrific detail re: their Berklee experience. I’ve been following them for years, and there were one or two things I hadn’t heard. I’d never really thought about it, but imagine 10-year old Ale holding her own with super-talented older teens who probably started playing music before she was born. It’s kind of incredible.
Not just older teens but pros like the bassist for Disturbed. There's a video of them doing a "shoot-the-breeze" session, and also of DPA with the Disturbed guy performing at Berklee.
"Very Canadian" lol I loved the things they mentioned.. especially the 'are we pronouncing your names correctly'. Little things like that can be very heart warming. I was born and raised in the US, with a very Hispanic name and have dealt with people that won't even bother to get it right.. or even just purposely call me by a completely different name that is much more common. It's incredibly rude. Fun interview. I really enjoyed it.
Great Interview. Dany, Pau and Ale are always charming, funny and gracious! I am glad you did a bit of research before interviewing them. They are always very entertaining when you ask them good questions.
Imo Waffles With The Warning was the most informative, entertaining, and downright fun interview I've seen yet. Ego? DPA are very humble and nice obviously but the overarching principle imo is they're very dedicated to their career, their craft, their entire crew, and their fans. They will work to improve and grow and they will leave it all out on stage every night for those fans. And they'll be wonderful and supportive tour mates. They've got a great thing going and it's only going to get better! Kudos to The Road The Stage for a great interview.
@@brentkelsay3439 A few years ago a number of Patreon fans went to Mexico to watch them perform in a few small clubs. They greeted us outside the club. Very friendly. This is great. You got the girls firing on all cylinders. Edit: The food was a brilliant idea. Years ago, Arsenio Hall was interviewing a "supermodel", Kathy Ireland (?), and she was frozen - she couldn't speak. So, he got up and left the stage (no cam following, so just Kathy in her chair). He came back with a tray of food from the green room, set it on the hassock between them and started to eat. Then she started to eat and all of a sudden she was engaged and coherent. Not saying that TW are anything like KI, just that Arsenio was brilliant, as are you.

Best interview I've seen. Great questioning with people who did their homework and weren't oblivious to the rest of the world around them - for starters. Then the interviewers allowed the ladies to speak. Very thoughtful and relaxed interview. Very welcoming. Loved it. Learned new things like Ale was once learning how to play a saxophone. Also, they may have just encouraged a new dimension in The Warning's music with Dany playing sax in a song. Look to INXS for how that's done. Such a great and interesting video. Thank you so much for this interview with the new Queens of Rock, The Warning!
Fantastic! Fell in love with these guys after the Calgary show and looking to hear more from them in the future, tours and albums. Great show, lots of energy and great to hear some more female lead rock bands! Great insightful interview too into the band!
