I heard that the first two artists had to start over several times and the crowd had already been there 3 hours before DPA started. From what was said they did one take on pretty much everything and were done. Also think that a lot of people who have actually watched their two full song performances could instantly tell they were not doing the lip sync thing like 98% of the other performers....they were playing and singing their hearts out. Best version of Evolve ever imo.😉

Talk about rising to the occasion, these ladies jumped this quiet NYC crowd and made them instant fans. Great reaction as usual from The Nobodies. "Holy Shit!" --MTV Producer.
Thanks for indulging the requestors and us TWA members. I remember that this was either the 2nd or 3rd reaction that you did to TW and was the song that cemented your appreciation for DPA. FWIW, i think that most of us see this as the apex, all time great, performance of the song, with the Teatro Metropolitan performance being a close 2nd. This was such a great opportunity to get DPA in front of an audience of music/concert listeners and industry insiders and the ladies did not squander it. You could see the crowd, most of whom had no clue about the band, being converted into fans on the spot.

Dany’s facial expressions are fucking next level. Ale is in mega rock star mode. Pau.. well Pau is on steroids. Next legit super group.
i'm quite proud and happy for DPA/TW for making these milestone appearances at two MTV functions, the MIAW in CDMX (back in Aug) and the VMAs in NY&NJ (Extended Stage) (in Sep)... two other milestones are 1) they are the first Mexican band to perform at the VMAs, and 2) they were invited to perform while not being nominated for anything... that speaks volumes in a great and huge way! now add to that they have been doing this for 10 years and, right now, most of that was while independent...
yes, they have been playing longer than 10 years but that includes while they were learning and starting to become proficient at their art and individual instruments... in a vlog they made a couple of years ago, Pau mentions that she has been drumming for 13 years... she was 19 at that time... that was 2 years ago... it is hard to believe, but quite obvious once you have watched them a few times, that they have been playing their instruments for 15 years and playing together as a band for 10 years... we won't even mention how this all started because of the game Rock Band 😹

Man I laugh when people say there is no good music nowadays and after the laughing tell them they are not searching for the right stuff!, Then I start listing out the kick ass bands from nowadays like Jinjer, Alien Weaponry, Avatar, Spiritbox, Lorna Shore...and the list goes on but at the top of the list is The Warning. Finally they are getting their moment and fucken knew they would blow MTV up! cheers 🤘

Thanks guys...love the reaction to the Best Rock Band on the Planet!!!! Just so you know...when you talk or whatever over the video, your software lowers the volume of the video way way down and takes a while for it to come back...especially during the absolute banging part of this song with Pau's scream of destruction...sorry, just pointing that out.
They said they were nervous before going on stage, but once on stage it went away. Anticipation is always more nerve wracking. Alejandra is quiet but stay out of her way on her side of the stage. The other two artists who performed on the extended stage required multiple takes to get their performance right. TW only needed one.
If you guys had been there you would have started a mosh pit!
If you don't know, they are playing WACKEN next year, considered the biggest metal festival in the world. FYI: they have told us on Patreon we are not ready for what is coming from the new album they are recording right now. They may even play songs from this album on their Mexico "Error" tour coming up next month.
I can see them performing the Super Bowl half-time show in the future.
They always mention how hard they work and how much they practice but it comes down to ... Talent. The great thing about them is they will never say that about themselves or act that way. Once the music stops and they walk off stage, that's it. They are just three unassuming sisters and their family.
The MTV producer said over an open mike, "HOLY SHIT!"
Ale does sing high notes in some songs like sinister smiles. You nobodies are fun to watch.

I've also heard that Dany noticed at least three fans in the crowd mouthing the words to MORE, so she had them brought to the front row for EVOVLE to add to the energy and so the camera can pan over them! These kids are SMART!
nonononono... not really... the fellow in the blue and white checkered flannel shirt yelled out "Happy Dany Day!" when they first came out to do their two *MORE* shoots... that told DPA/TW that there were fans there than knew them... yes, they were pointed out and the MTV team did open a path for them to move to the front for the crowd interaction shots we see in *Evolve* ... you can catch a few shots of those people on Dany's side when they were still back in the audience during *MORE* but you have to be very quick to see them...
you were close so please don't take this clarifying comment in a bad way...

Dany takes care of the audience, Pau runs the show. and Ale keeps her sisters on time and encourages them. In an interview, Ale says that all three have a telepathic bond and that's how they communicate so well on stage. Ale will notice a look on Pau's face that says I'm tired. Then Ale will look at her and telepathically say, just two more songs to go - you got this. It's so beautiful

Great reaction guys! They performed More and Evolve on the Friday before the actual awards show which was Tuesday only about 50 seconds of each song was aired. Sucks right? Well guess what? The internet blew up with searches for "The Warning". These two full length videos blew up on MTV's channel. Online sites were asking "Who are TW"? They attended the ceremony wearing gorgeous black latex dresses and were interviewed by various people. Those interviews were shared and broadcast on various online sites. Even online fashion sites like Vanity Fair and Cosmopolitan had photos of them on the "pink carpet". All of their music on multiple platforms spiked after this show. Subscribers to their sites shot up. They made the choice to bow out of the first of two opening gigs for GnR to do this show and it paid off. The World was Warned and will never be the same again. They have been recording more songs for a new album and will soon be headed to South America for 3 shows and then back to Mexico to do I believe a dozen shows there before the end of the year. 💖✨🔥⚡🚀🤘🏽

Been a fan and Patreon for a few years now... they are already opening for majors, and did a headline tour (Error) in the US, some of Canada, and Europe and blew me away with how they ran the crowds! Pau is more than a drummer... she's an entity onstage and sometimes hands over her kit to take center stage and rock the house - just saw a video of them in Columbia - people as far as the eye could see. They've brought rock back to life, and I'm extremely glad they did - and this video (and More)is a huge stepping stone. Forever Warned!🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
