I think that seems to be the issue with slotted or grooved. I have basic Brembo discs all round and not had an issue in 7k miles on the front. rears are newly fitted so time will tell.
The issue was with the brand. Ive also had grooved discs and they’ve never failed before, use to have EBC but changed to Mtech a few years ago. These were stoptech and lasted 2 sprints and a track day then they failed. Won’t use stoptech again. Gone back to Mtech now.

Not that’s great with the discs! I’m running Mtec aswell not had any problems
