I'm a cheapskate, so what I do is I get those flosspicks, where it has two prongs that hold a small section of floss. Normal floss gets wet and my fingers slip and it's a hassle trying to cram my fist into my mouth, but the flosspicks work.
Why it makes me a cheapskate is that if you can re-use your toothbrush instead of trashing to toothbrush every night, I do the same with the floss picks, as I am just trying to dislodge the plaque and bacteria, so I re-use my flosspicks until they break, which will save you a BUNCH of money. A flosspick actually lasts me a month now, and I got a pack of either 100 or 200.
Additionally, you can get floss that has a flat plane instead of a circular string, and the flat plane covers more surface area.
Just learn to press your thumb onto the flosspick with enough force in a way to get past the initial tight gap, but avoid the gums. There was only one trouble spot for me, between my two top front teeth, that cut up my floss a bit. Until one day I used my floss a RIPPED A CHUNK OF MY TOOTH OUT! The benefit is that there's a very nice roomy gap there so I can EASILY fit my floss in there now. (Turns out it was just an old filling that got loose, and I am due to replace it soon).
Another way to wedge a flosspick in, is to push it in at an angle, think using a handsaw on wood, you want to cut at an angle to get through, instead of perfectly flat, and of course use a sawing motion.

For flossing, try the plackers with twin line.. Walmart also has cheaper knockoff.

Plaque buildup occurs after every meal since you add bacteria into your mouth, that then need to be dealt with. If you only do oral hygiene at the beginning and end of the day, you have let the bacteria multiply and become plaque throughout the day.
To fight this, use Xylitol after your heavy meals and drinks. It will feed the bacteria something equal to empty calories making it less sticky and prevent it from multiplying. Check out this video on how to use Xylitol Crystals, which is IMO better than the Xylitol gum and mints one can get th-cam.com/video/ym7uq6mSyxM/w-d-xo.html

Don't rinse your mouth after brushing. And just use high fluoride toothpaste.

I prefer xylitol toothpaste with hydroxyapetite as fluoride can be absorbed through the gums and I know fluoride is in tap water and people still have to visit the dentist lol

After oil pulling, I felt that my plaque was breaking down. Teeth were left smooth. Bad breath disappeared. Confidence level around my oral hygiene going up as it became one less thing to worry about. I became more aware of how bad my mouth used to be.
I can't really pinpoint any specific changes to my digestion, metabolism or immunity.

@@MasterEverydayLiving Nice, I don't think I have much tartar, but my mouth is always acidic causing some erosion of my teeth. I get acid reflux after I eat and in the morning. Trying alkalizing food, and lastly, essential oil or Guru Nanda coconut whitening pulling oil product good for gum and teeth?
