Realizing that I was not alone gives me some type of relief.. all these days I was suffering from Anxiety along with bad breath because of thinking that I was weird type of person..
Thank you very much Dr. My bad breadth has been fixed. I am following my blood type diet, it's been six months now of freedom from bad breadth. Your videos helped me a lot.

That is so true!!!! I know someone with post nasal drip and sinus problems and has very bad breath! 🤢🤢🤢🤮 So bad that I had to retract from this person when speaking with him. His breath was so bad that it stunk like something died in his mouth! 😜🤢😝🤮 He also did not scrape his tongue. Worst bad breath ever!
I’ve had this issue for years. It’s had such a negative impact on my life. I recently found the cause. I have an enlarged tonsil. It’s not tonsillitis or a temporary issue. It’s been several years. As a last resort, I am getting a tonsillectomy. I’m not looking forward to the recovery but I am looking forward to getting my life back.
Whew, Katie! I've been down that road on a "cause of bad breath" wild goose chase! I certainly hope for your sake, that the tonsillectomy fixes your problem (it didn't fix mine), bc that 3 week recovery is going 2 be BRUTAL!!!! And, please, don't let'em talk u n2 getting some nasal polyps removed also, bc now your nose is packed with gauze & u r forced 2 breathe out of your mouth, which in turn drys out your already deathly sore throat!!!! Worse experience of my life, thus far! Word of advice, I don't care how much it feels like u r swallowing pins & needles....drink plenty of liquids! It's the only thing that will keep the throat sores moist, therefore eliminating some of the pain...good luck honey!!! Godspeed!
Hey, do the surgery which requires more to time heal than the faster one. One of my friend friends passed away this year from that tonsil surgery because he accidently cough and the blood vessel torned up and caused bleeding. He was in comma until he passed away. Be careful ya.
Never will I break up with Dr Berg. I have Sibo I had my colon removed( Colon cancer) at time it's a struggle 😪 😩 but I try to figure it out. Dr Berg you are my guide thru loads of health journeys and I truly appreciate you and I am locked into your products. You my Cure. Thank you. California 💛

If your breath stinks go carnivore instead patching problem with next remedy If your breath stinks it’s indication of you packing your self with food that’s doesn’t agree with your so stop doing it Since I went carnivore not only my breath but also sweat and poop don’t stink
*Long text* I used to have tonsil stones and bad breath, but you probably have the solution in your kitchen, and if not, it's very cheap, or at least in many countries it is. It's baking soda. I've been using it for a few months and it's the best decision I've ever made. I put baking soda on my toothbrush and I brush my tongue (don't brush it very hard because it is worse), I rinse with water, and I do it again. You feel the freshness immediately. If you have tonsil stones you can put a little bit on the tip of your tongue and spread it on your tonsils and then rinse with water, if you can't do it with your tongue, do it with your finger. Since I've done that, I no longer have tonsil stones. Note: Don't swallow it, spit it out and that's it. Nothing bad will happen to you if you swallow it, but if you do it all the time it can affect the PH of your stomach. You can also put a tablespoon of baking soda in a glass of water (it doesn't has to be hot) and use it as a mouthwash, but I don't do it because it left my front teeth feeling rough, but it went away by brushing those teeth with the same baking soda, although personally I no longer do it. I also have a small bottle that I keep in my pocket with baking soda, and if I'm not at home and I can't brush my teeth, I use it and the bad taste in my mouth is gone. But, if the police come and they see that, I don't know what you're going to say. 😅🤣 Drinking water also helps, so if you combine drinking water, brushing your teeth, flossing, and using baking soda, it may be enough to get rid of bad breath. There is a video explaining why baking soda is not bad for your teeth. I don't put the link because I don't know if it is allowed to put the link of another channel in the TH-cam comments, but you can search for the video as "BICARBONATO DE SODIO para los DIENTES | EL MEJOR ENJUAGUE BUCAL CASERO DEL MUNDO 🔥 ¡COMPROBADO!" from the channel "Un Dentista En TH-cam". It's in Spanish, but you can enable subtitles. TH-cam subtitles are not the best but you understand the point. I hope it works for you.
To Dr. Berg and crew, Thank you yet again, for bringing this invaluable information to us and congratulations on crossing the 6M mark! May God bless you always!
We have neither fluoride or chloride in our home. I never use alcohol containing mouthwash. In 2009 I had a porcelain crown placed on my front tooth. I had broken it off as a young child and had it bonded and rebounded for decades, but it always yellowed and people would ask me if I smoked. I have never. I was so self conscious about it. So, when insurance finally agreed to pay for the crown I jumped at the chance! My vanity led me down a road of years of chronic pain. The entire crown placing ordeal was so painful and months later I was unable to eat even a chip using my front teeth and my husband couldn’t place even the lightest kiss upon my lips. It CONSTANTLY felt as if a nail were being driven through the tooth and into my sinuses. Yet, the dentist kept telling me I “shouldn’t “ still be having pain! I wanted zero drug…otc or prescription. I just wanted the problem fixed so it would go away! It went on for over 2 years, but all the doc offered was a root canal and I was fully aware of its dangers and failure rate. I declined. Along the journey I learned how toxic is fluoride and began making my own toothpaste. Within a couple of months my tooth/face pain disappeared! Then, I went to visit my Mom for a week stay and forgot my toothpaste. Not even thinking I used her commercial garbage and the pain returned with a vengeance and stayed for 6 weeks! Now, 12 years in my tooth can still get sensitive if bumped, but I can eat easily and, most importantly, my husband can kiss me! However, the gum is receding a bit and I will get bacteria build up that causes bad breath and increased sensitivity. My solution for this is using a water pic with hydrogen peroxide added to the water, massaging the gums and oil pulling with myrrh and frankincense in the oil!

I’ve been dealing with this BB issue for 4 years now. After seeing several doctors, dentist & periodontists with no results, I switched to carnivore diet. It has been a month now, no sudden changes yet, hoping to make sense of when I might start seeing some results.

I have searched for some answers regarding this issue my kids have. They are 8 and 10 and they have very bad breath very often. Their teeth are healthy and they eat healthy, but still i don't understand where is this coming from. I know that is drinking enough water also good, but now i must check them with sinuses. Thanks, love your work❤❤❤❤❤
The Miswaak is a fantastic way to eradicate bad breath which also stimulates the gums and doesn't kill the good bacteria also whitens your teeth after regular use. Such an amazing natural toothcare
A lot of people have tonsil stones, which are white pieces of calcified food that are stuck in the pocket of their tonsils, and that can often cause the bad breath smell. Often you can see them there if you open your mouth wide and look in a mirror. Sometimes they are loose enough that you can cough them out into your hand, and if you smell it, you’ll notice it smells absolutely terrible
Bad breath can also come from you having cancer. My mom did and when she went to the doctor, she was in 3rd stage. She didn't even know it. She was 39 and she had 3 operations and luckily she is 88 years.
Fantastic information. Mouthwash destroying the good bacteria-they leave that part out on the label/advertisements. Love so much how he makes us wiser.⛄🌟🎄✨
My chronic bad breath disappeared after a deep-cleaning, dental procedure. This may sound overly simple, but I grew-up in a home where nobody went to the doctor or dentist unless he was sick or had a toothache (no health insurance of any kind.) Consequently we went years between office visits. A bad case of gingivitis can literally make your mouth and breath, smell like a sewer. It drove people away and caused me to be reserved, anti-social and an introvert. Of course, routine and regular dental visits, are now part of my life.

I had no idea I had bad breath until I had an endoscopy and diagnosed with CSID, Congenital Sucrose Isomaltase Deficiency. Life- changing diagnosis. Once I went low carb/sugar, my breath changed for the better, along with other issues. Also found out why I was never able to get pregnant: malabsorption issues.

Couple of questions. 1. Which brand of tooth paste and where do we find those? 2. Which brand of green tea and where do we find those? 3. How to drink apple cider vinegar? Thank you!
My grandpa always advised us to use: fresh mint, clove, Aloe Vera, cardamon and flossing with slightly added salt in water. It worked perfectly. And he mad toothbrush from tree branches, also clean tooth brush with boiler water. Because wet and unclean tooth brush also couse batteries. We make our own mouth wash. I am 44 with no teath problem and cavity. Thanks of him. Nice video thank you too.
There are some issues if you still have bad breath after good oral hygiene: 1. GERD/ ACID REFLUX . May it be due to your stomach. Consult with a gastroenterologist. 2. Liver Issue. 3. Postnasal Drip. When you have Allergy problems or Allergic rhinitis, excessive mucus is produced, which also causes Nasal odor. Also checked for blocked nose. 4. Dirty tongue. 5. Dry Mouth. 6. Hiatus Hernia / H.pylori 7. Lack of flossing. 8. Tonsil issue or Tonsil stones. 9. Sinusitis or Sinus issue.
Also see a periodontist 🦷 at your Dentist and get a deep clean of your gums , floss, tongue scrape , hydrate with water 💦 to prevent dry mouth and use interdental cleaners. I had bad breath 😷 from 1993 until 2022. The Doctor referred me to a psychiatrist thinking that I was making it up 😲. I went to a Dental school where they train Dentists and learnt about mouth care. God is good 🙏🏽🇬🇧
Tonsil stones are one of the culprits. Another point. I’ve read that it’s much better to brush BEFORE you eat/drink because foods/drink make your mouth acidic thereby making your teeth prone to damage from brushing.
I have bad breath for over 20 years now I brush my teeth twice a day but it still doesn’t woke sometimes I am ashamed of myself I can’t even speak to someone looking his or her face I always give distance when speaking to people or I will Ben down my head and whatever I have issues with people they will always tell me about my bad breath I really don’t know what to do because if even I brush my teeth ten times a day it will make no difference 😢
I hate toothpaste! I haven't used toothpaste in years! It started out with eliminating pastes with fluoride. Then I eliminated pastes with sodium laurel sulfate. Eventually, I eliminated toothpaste altogether! Ever since I eliminated toothpaste altogether, I never had dry mouth ever again. Well, the only time I got dry mouth is when I ran out of my tooth powder and just used a tiny bit of my fluoride free and SLS free toothpaste. I got dry mouth again right after that. I now make sure I have a lot of extra tooth powder on hand so that I won't run out. I love my tooth powder! Best thing for my teeth and gums. I do not use straight baking soda. I have a combo of baking soda, pink Himalayan salt, and essential oils. I will never use toothpaste again! 😝
I thought i was the only person who hated brushing their teeth with toothpaste. It def gives me dry mouth, & causes extreme thirst. I mostly either brush with just warm water or baking soda. I need 2 get on your page & formulate a "powder" for myself.

I accidentally fermented dates (fruit) by leaving them in boiled water with cinnamon and cardamom, when I forgot the mix in the fridge for 2 days: to make the Oats /dates hot drink that I make for my husband each winter: after I served it for him I decided to try some for myself too, and the surprise: that I slept that night with absolutely no stomach probs or bloating, and woke up the next morning with no bad breath, as most of us when we wake up, as if these ferminted dates have killed every single harmful bacteria in my gut. Yet they didn't ease the flu symptoms that I feel now😅

My wife was always commenting on my bad breath for years and years. I started to clean my teeth with bicarbonate of soda instead of toothpaste to help with staining problems. Not only are the stains gone the bad breath is also a distant memory!
My lifetime bad breath ended when I was diagnosed with gluten intolerance and I ceased eating gluten. Never had it again. I wasnt celiac, just gluten intolerance diagnosed via a genetic test.
I'm thinking gluten, dairy or both is the root cause of mine. I have done water fasts where all problems cleared up by day 4, leaving me to believe that the bloating, chronic sinus problems & breath issues are caused by something(s) in my diet. Starting Sunday, I'm eliminating diary for a while, to see if anything improves...then on to gluten...not looking forward 2 it though. I love cheese & bread..
@@sugalovely1238 Have you ever tested for Celiac Disease? You mentioned every symptom I had BEFORE I tested positive for Celiac Disease. There's lots of good tasting gluten free breads and out there. Yeah, I hear you on the cheese and bread, just cheeses in general were a love for me. It is hard to eliminate or greatly reduce foods you enjoy that are not good for your health - but if you up your protein and lower your sugar intake a lot - you can REDUCE your cravings for dairy and processed foods. Also, check out Intermittent Fasting and how that will help reduce your cravings too. Keep researching your way towards good health and it will be very rewarding. 😊💖
@@aliarsenal6136 Its probably better for you to google them than take advice from me because my symptoms may be different to your. But this was the main one for me. I had all this joint pain. I struggled to walk because it hurt so much. About 8 weeks after stopping gluten, the pain disappeared.
ILY and your information so much. I'm used to watching other doctors and getting mad. So I skim your videos like, I hope he mentions bacterial overgrowth of the small intestine.. And when you do, I'm always like relieved that I can trust one doc out there to know the truth.
IKR?!!! I've asked several Healthcare professionals about SIBO, & always get a deer caught in headlights look...it's def refreshing 2 hear one doctor mention it!!!
Flossing is important too. Those little bits of food stuck between teeth that are missed while brushing just sit there and rot.🤢 Try to floss at least once a day. Flossing is so underrated, but it really is so important, especially for gum health.
I had the same problem and I tried almost everything you mentioned. Until this person told me that chlorophyll in capsule form or liquid acts like deorant in the body from inside out. I buy it at sprouts. This was a life saver.
I haven't used toothpaste for over 10 years. I mix with coconut oil, sea salt, some baking powder, H2O2 3% and a herb powder from Thailand. since then i have no more dental problems and visits to the dentist are also canceled.
Thanks Dr Berg, always love your advice. I have used clove for years, for many reasons. I love all these things that can cause bad breath and have t had this issue. Now I know why.

Tonsil stones are also a Huge culprit and there's not much options available for that. 1-1 ratio hydrogen peroxyde and water mix works fine short term.
He'd make me heavy breathe, then complain about my breath. He said it smelt of eggs, and complain about my legs. He said I was too fat, and made me live on diets. It's all very well for him, he never had to try it.
Drop any toothpaste and make your own. Baking soda, coconut oil, hydrogen peroxide, mint extract. Unbelievable results and I've been doing it for years.
My 'mouthwash' is a mix of potassium salt n baking soda, but i use euythemol toothpaste to date (one o my elderly clients still had some of her own teeth aged 100yrs n swore by it)

As a teacher I do a lot of talking. I don't care for a constant drinking water. My solution for bad breath and dry mouth is a small little jar on my desk with crystallized ginger.
Green tea if you dont have sensitif issues with sleep/ caffeine.. and ACV 1 table spoon in empty stomach in the morning is very good.. I had bad breath before.. praise God I havent have like that now.. almost disappear.. quality mouthwash, tongue scraper * stainless one ..quality toothpaste and brush like oral b electric toothbrush
I had to go back to the occasional brushing with fluoride toothpaste for my keto breath. I could brush my teeth with charcoal toothpaste six times a day and pop sugar free mints constantly and the smell was still foul. All those natural remedies weren’t killing off the bacteria crapping in my mouth right underneath the gum line.
I have aways had extremly sensivte teeth. Apparently fibromyalgia can play a part in it as well as sensitive gums due to menopause. My dentist told me to keep using toothpaste with fluoride to help with this issue as it can be painful getting my teeth cleaned at the dentist, so not sure what is my alternative

My darling husband had the worst breath, I mean awful!. After we had been married for 20 year he switched to a keto diet with me. His bad breath magically went away!
Thank you for sharing your wonderful presentation. The daily use of dental floss and the correct method of brushing the teeth with a soft toothbrush is vital. The tongue must also be brushed correctly. All teeth MUST be cavities free. The oral space MUST be a clean area. Don’t even try to share a kiss till you make sure you can share a healthy kiss. All of the preventive care will also render a good breath.
Tonsililoths are probably the main source of mouth odor. I make sure to give them attention every time I brush. I used to get rice grain sized nuggets out of my tonsils, now they stay mostly clear.
@@shalomagape5457 I use my index finger, and gargle with warm salt water, sometimes I gargle with peroxide. You're supposed to dilute peroxide 50/50 with water, but I usually take a swig straight from the bottle and gargle for 30 or 40 seconds. I think there are better instructions online if you do a search.
I don't have time to read all the comments, but I tell you this very quickly....the most important topic you should address is why some people suffer from bad breath and others don't. All the things you are recommending are probably ok to practice, but people who don't suffer from bad breath they don't practice none of those things you are prescribing and they don't suffer from that. I know people who don't brash their teeth properly or wash their mouths as good and as frequently as people who suffer from that problem, and zero bad breath. So, I know for a fact it is not the food they eat, it does not come from their guts or stomach as some doctors say. UCLA had a clinic some years ago, it was called Oral clinic, inside of the UCLA Medical center in Westwood. It was a research about bad breath, halitosis, and I am not sure if it still exists, but they were there to teach how to clean the mouth and teeth properly, and just test the person for the sulfur compounds of the mouth. They sold an oral kit, which consists of tongue scraper, oran rinse, toothpaste and some other things, dental floss and tooth brush. They don't work. The problem comes back. This is what works: Clean the tongue properly with a combination of toothpaste and baking soda. Then all the oral cavity with the same paste. Apply the same paste to the dental floss and floss properly. The key point here is properly. Clean the gums and teeth properly, using the same paste. Do this AM and PM, before going to bed. Cleaning the tongue after each meal is absolutely a must. Now you are ready to use all the things Dr. Berg is telling you.
Unfortunately it's a very complicated issue. I had and occasionally gets bouts of really bad breath. I have excellent oral hygiene, I eat a well balanced diet and rarely consume sweets. The only major cure for me has been antibiotics, suggesting I have bacterial issues in my throat or small intestine. One thing I haven't tried however is the apple cider vinegar and betaine HCL, I do usually feel full hours after eating so this might be it.
Ok I am replying my own message with an upgrade information, and this is the very top of science: Streptococcus mutants is what causes bad in the mouth. There is other bacteria that might help, but the principal one is this. This is the reason bad breath comes back. Streptococcus mutants can only be eradicated from the mouth using Xylitol sugar. Follow the instructions Dr. Ellie Phillips recommends: This is the one that for sure said good bye to my bad bread: "Say good bye to Bad Breath for Good" by Dr. Ellie Phillips. She is a dentist, and uses Xylitol to eradicate the Streptococcus mutants by them eating the sugar but cannot multiply themselves. And also this sugar keeps the mouth alkaline which is another environment streptococcus mutants do not like. They thrive in an acid mouth. So, watch all the videos of this dentist and you will be happy!! Note: I don't use none of her mouth washes, or toothpaste. All I use is my own toothpaste which does not contain fluoride, and none of harsh products. A soft toothbrush and I stopped flossing because my gums were so recessed I had pain in my teeth. But now are grown back. And no mouthwash. I do use a solution of 1 tsp of baking soda in 1-1/2 water, with this I do mouth gargles for 1 minute to make my mouth alkaline before brushing so my teeth do not demineralize during the brushing. She recommends buying an expensive mouthwash which I own by instead I make my own solution of water and baking soda. The sugar is the queen here--it is the cure for bad breath.
This is a great piece of advice! It's so reassuring to see that keto and fasting is in every video, even on topics that seem to have no relation to each other! They really are the best ways to be healthy. I'd also say washing your teeth with baking soda. It raises the pH of your mouth so that bad bacteria can't live on your mouth.
I switched from regular use of Listerine after brushing to using a Himalayan pink salt and baking soda solution. Sometimes I'll add a drop or two of grapeseed extract if I feel any irritation in the back of my throat or sinuses.

I've been suffering from bad breath since I was a kid (6 years old), my siblings also used to have this issue however it is not intense as mine and sometimes they don't have it but mine has never gone! Let me start by telling you about the symptoms I used to feel and still feel it --> - All I used to feel was a bad taste through my throat since I had tonsil stones in my throat. That's it!! - I don't feel the acid reflux (don't know if I have any), I don't have heartburn, bloating, vomiting, constipation, diarrhoea, ...etc. so there are no signs of indigestion, and I have never felt a stomach ache. I am the kind of person that loves food and can eat a big meal at once, and still maintain a good weight. I've reached many doctors, but nothing was changed. I will list the type of doctors and remedies/ surgeries I got: 1- my first attempt was by visiting an otolaryngologist because I believed my bad breath was because of the bad taste I have in my throat. The doctor diagnosed my case with paranasal sinuses and I did back then the sinuses surgery. Unfortunately, nothing was changed, my bad breath didn't even reduced. 2- my second visit was to gastroenterologist, who diagnosed my case with low stomach acid and weak LES. He gave my low stomach acid medicines (i.e. Nexium) and another medicine to tighten my LES. He described me a strict diet as well - nothing oily or fatty - all type of oils including olive oil- - no spices in food (i.e. black pepper) - no chocolate, chilly food, coffee, yogurt, tomatoes, thyme, orange, eggs, onions and garlic, lemon, ... I cut off all that food and the substitute was pasta, rice, plain english cake, milk and cereal, plain biscuit, cheese, .... and the doctor told meto eat more frequently but smaller portions And guess what, my bad breath disappeared through this whole medication and diet plan ( 3 months) !!! BUT once I stopped the medicines and the day I got back to my old lifestyle, the bad breath showed immidiatelly. 😔 3- I then visited another gastroenterologist We did an upper endoscopy, some blood tests, and nothing was wrong. The doctor even said that I don't have acid reflux. But he still described me some medicines, and nothing was changed. 4- The las doctor I visited was otolaryngologist also, but this time we removed the tonsils 😁 yes we did a tonscilctomy and I though this was it I will no more have bad breath. But still after all that pain, nothing changed!! 😪 I decided to search and find the cure by myself. I read about candida and thought maybe I have candida ( I am that type of person that always tired and can't focus), so I started the candida journey by following a strict keto diet, taking supplements and probiotics, and drinking acv before each meal. I followed this diet for 3 consecutive months. But nothing changed, here where I gave up. About 2 months ago, I started drinking chlorophyll and taking spore probiotic, but I didn't see any difference in my bad breath. Recently, I've drinking acv with Himalayan salt after meals and before bed. I have noticed a 10% change in my breath ( for the better). I am sorry for my long message, but this journey has been really frustrating in all terms 😔😔 it really affected my relationship with people and made me an introvert person. I am getting married in 3 months and I can't imagine I would wakeup with a bad breath next to my partner😪 luckily we're in a long distance relationship. After reading my medical journey, what do you think the source of the bad breath is? Please suggest 😥
Dr. Berg...you are absolutely awesome, I just also watched your video on GARLIC.....thank you so much sir, merry Christmas to you and your family, God bless you sir. ❤🎅👍
Hello! A question about sore throat: neck massages and acupressures can help with it, but what else can we do? Eat honey syrup with cloves, garlic, ginger, etc.? Anything that we can drink or eat that stays in our throat and has anti bacterial properties to sterilise the throat.
Thanks for this video, i don't have teeth but I'm still brushing my teeth and sometimes i feel that i have bad breath, now i knew that fluoride and mouth wash is not good combination.
If you have post nasal drip and are always feel like your nose is stopped up you may have a deviated septum. I had surgery to fix my deviated septum and it fixed my post nasal drip and bad breath! ☺️ Maybe use Afrin to open nasal passages as temporary fix 🧐
Some information I just got hold of is to make a dry mix to add to toothpaste like Tom's of Maine: Fenugreek seeds powder Cinnamon powder Fennel seeds powder Turmeric powder Clove powder Mix in a glass jar & sprinkle a dash over toothpaste before brushing!

It is easy to notice bad breath in others, but it is difficult for the owner of the smell to feel it himself. Therefore, if a person thinks his mouth smells bad, he can do a simple test to confirm this, he can lick the inner side of his wrist and then smell it. If the smell is bad, that confirms the bad smell of himself as well. Or he could ask someone he trusts to be honest to smell himself. It would be wrong for him to be offended if he told him there was a problem, wouldn't it be better for him to know?
Perfect examples. The dry saliva on wrist does tell the 'owner' the real deal and I know both my mom/dad never hesitate to let me know, especially with all the raw garlic/onions I consume.😳😯😟h well!! 😁
I keep cloves in a small tin box and chew one in your mouth as you go through your day, if you’re on the go and drink coffee that way you’ll keep a fresh breath
The biggest source of actual odor in your mouth are tonsililoths. On both sides of the back of your mouth, your tonsils are little pockets where bacteria and food particles collect. Over time little nuggets of pus and bacteria form. You can "express" those pockets with your index finger or the rounded handle of your toothbrush.

Sinus problems with post nasal drip can also cause bad breath. Sinus irrigation with neti pot and saline solution can really help a lot.

You may have tonsil stones that can cause the smell too.
Godspeed!
I have this too. Just one large tonsil . I get a lot of tonsil stones

I used to have tonsil stones and bad breath, but you probably have the solution in your kitchen, and if not, it's
very cheap, or at least in many countries it is. It's baking soda. I've been using it for a few months and it's the
best decision I've ever made.
I put baking soda on my toothbrush and I brush my tongue (don't brush it very hard because it is worse), I rinse with
water, and I do it again. You feel the freshness immediately. If you have tonsil stones you can put a little bit on the
tip of your tongue and spread it on your tonsils and then rinse with water, if you can't do it with your tongue, do it
with your finger. Since I've done that, I no longer have tonsil stones.
Note: Don't swallow it, spit it out and that's it. Nothing bad will happen to you if you swallow it, but if you do it
all the time it can affect the PH of your stomach.
You can also put a tablespoon of baking soda in a glass of water (it doesn't has to be hot) and use it as a mouthwash,
but I don't do it because it left my front teeth feeling rough, but it went away by brushing those teeth with the same
baking soda, although personally I no longer do it.
I also have a small bottle that I keep in my pocket with baking soda, and if I'm not at home and I can't brush my
teeth, I use it and the bad taste in my mouth is gone. But, if the police come and they see that, I don't know what
you're going to say. 😅🤣
Drinking water also helps, so if you combine drinking water, brushing your teeth, flossing, and using baking soda,
it may be enough to get rid of bad breath. There is a video explaining why baking soda is not bad for your teeth.
I don't put the link because I don't know if it is allowed to put the link of another channel in the TH-cam comments,
but you can search for the video as "BICARBONATO DE SODIO para los DIENTES | EL MEJOR ENJUAGUE BUCAL CASERO DEL MUNDO 🔥 ¡COMPROBADO!" from the channel "Un Dentista En TH-cam". It's in Spanish, but you can enable subtitles.
TH-cam subtitles are not the best but you understand the point.
I hope it works for you.

Thank you yet again, for bringing this invaluable information to us and congratulations on crossing the 6M mark!

I have been keto for 11 years and carnivore for 4, and at 65 finally have 100% health, it removed my SIBO completely.

I’m convinced Dr.Berg reads my mind!? I asked myself this question just this morning!
U right
Bad breath can also come from you having cancer. My mom did and when she went to the doctor, she was in 3rd stage. She didn't even know it. She was 39 and she had 3 operations and luckily she is 88 years.
I am glad she is doing good ❤️❤️

My chronic bad breath disappeared after a deep-cleaning, dental procedure. This may sound overly simple, but I grew-up in a home where nobody went to the doctor or dentist unless he was sick or had a toothache (no health insurance of any kind.) Consequently we went years between office visits. A bad case of gingivitis can literally make your mouth and breath, smell like a sewer. It drove people away and caused me to be reserved, anti-social and an introvert.
Of course, routine and regular dental visits, are now part of my life.
According to Google Dictionary "Anti-social" not sociable, not wanting the company of others. (2nd meaning)
I'd say I used that term correctly.

There are some issues if you still have bad breath after good oral hygiene:
5. Dry Mouth.
6. Hiatus Hernia / H.pylori
7. Lack of flossing.
8. Tonsil issue or Tonsil stones.
9. Sinusitis or Sinus issue.

Tonsil stones are one of the culprits.
Another point. I’ve read that it’s much better to brush BEFORE you eat/drink because foods/drink make your mouth acidic thereby making your teeth prone to damage from brushing.
Thanks for your information. Chronic tonsillitis may be also a cause of bad breath.

Yes, it helps to know one is not alone in dealing with such health issues.
Tonsils must be cleared as well
Tonsililoths are probably the main source of mouth odor. I make sure to give them attention every time I brush. I used to get rice grain sized nuggets out of my tonsils, now they stay mostly clear.

Dr Berg looks 10 years younger. That's why he's my doctor. Health is wealth
This is what works:
Clean the tongue properly with a combination of toothpaste and baking soda.
Bad breath is not just coming from the mouth. It might be coming from your stomach
Ellie Phillips recommends:
This is the one that for sure said good bye to my bad bread:
"Say good bye to Bad Breath for Good" by Dr.

What about bariatric patients? What causes bad breath?
This is a great piece of advice! It's so reassuring to see that keto and fasting is in every video, even on topics that seem to have no relation to each other! They really are the best ways to be healthy.
I'd also say washing your teeth with baking soda. It raises the pH of your mouth so that bad bacteria can't live on your mouth.
I switched from regular use of Listerine after brushing to using a Himalayan pink salt and baking soda solution. Sometimes I'll add a drop or two of grapeseed extract if I feel any irritation in the back of my throat or sinuses.
@@PhilLesh69 did it get better?
I eat peppermint gels. Rachel’s tea makes a good one.

Thank you Dr Berg i don't want to have bad breath
Hopefully that helps you.
I would send this to someone if it didn’t say Nasty or Bad. I guess I’ll just have to listen and tell him the tips.
I used peroxide and baking soda. I get tonsil stones and had them shaved down but still get them. I will try these
Doc, I agree 100% with your statements regarding majority of people being wrong.
I agree, most people are wrong all the time, here now included.
There is a 💯 % cure to bad breath and I got my cure from dr Oyalo remedy and till now I’m completely free from it. Is a good thing to share my experience. His channel is Dr Oyalo 🙏
I've been suffering from bad breath since I was a kid (6 years old), my siblings also used to have this issue however it is not intense as mine and sometimes they don't have it but mine has never gone!
Let me start by telling you about the symptoms I used to feel and still feel it -->
- All I used to feel was a bad taste through my throat since I had tonsil stones in my throat.
I will list the type of doctors and remedies/ surgeries I got:
1- my first attempt was by visiting an otolaryngologist because I believed my bad breath was because of the bad taste I have in my throat.
He described me a strict diet as well
- nothing oily or fatty - all type of oils including olive oil-
- no spices in food (i.e. black pepper)
- no chocolate, chilly food, coffee, yogurt, tomatoes, thyme, orange, eggs, onions and garlic, lemon, ...
I cut off all that food and the substitute was pasta, rice, plain english cake, milk and cereal, plain biscuit, cheese, .... and the doctor told meto eat more frequently but smaller portions
And guess what, my bad breath disappeared through this whole medication and diet plan ( 3 months) !!!
BUT once I stopped the medicines and the day I got back to my old lifestyle, the bad breath showed immidiatelly. 😔
3- I then visited another gastroenterologist
We did an upper endoscopy, some blood tests, and nothing was wrong.
I decided to search and find the cure by myself.
Talk with your teeth clenched, no more open mouth...breathe through nose
Try to chew after every meal funnel seed
Try oral biotic it may help
Use therabreath mouthwash

Sovereign Silver also kills bad breath.
Hello! A question about sore throat: neck massages and acupressures can help with it, but what else can we do? Eat honey syrup with cloves, garlic, ginger, etc.? Anything that we can drink or eat that stays in our throat and has anti bacterial properties to sterilise the throat.
I use chlorophyll and it helps tremendously with breath and body odor.
Great idea
@@Drberg I use chlorophyll from Neem leaves
Use lime rub it on your armpit or on your body for 1 hour before taking shower or bath.
What brand and how much
@corasbloom where do you get it?
In my humble opinion, I believe the number one cause of bad breath is Tonsil Stones which are situated in the back of the throat, on the tonsils.
Thanks for this video, i don't have teeth but I'm still brushing my teeth and sometimes i feel that i have bad breath, now i knew that fluoride and mouth wash is not good combination.
For me , a waterpik and dental probiotics help significantly. Im a halitosis sufferer for about 40 yrs now.

Some information I just got hold of is to make a dry mix to add to toothpaste like Tom's of Maine:
Fenugreek seeds powder
Cinnamon powder
Fennel seeds powder
Turmeric powder
Clove powder
Mix in a glass jar & sprinkle a dash over toothpaste before brushing!

Are there any recommendations on a good toothpaste to use?
It is easy to notice bad breath in others, but it is difficult for the owner of the smell to feel it himself. Therefore, if a person thinks his mouth smells bad, he can do a simple test to confirm this, he can lick the inner side of his wrist and then smell it. If the smell is bad, that confirms the bad smell of himself as well. Or he could ask someone he trusts to be honest to smell himself. It would be wrong for him to be offended if he told him there was a problem, wouldn't it be better for him to know?
@@Zeb786 👍🌺
Perfect examples. The dry saliva on wrist does tell the 'owner' the real deal and I know both my mom/dad never hesitate to let me know, especially with all the raw garlic/onions I consume.😳😯😟h well!! 😁

Where do you get it from
Dr Berg, you are amazing. Betaine hydrochloride, along with Tudca has significantly helped my gallbladder pain, and other digestive issues.
You can "express" those pockets with your index finger or the rounded handle of your toothbrush.
green tea causes me such a terrible stomach ache.
I’m surprised you did not mention baking soda or peroxide for this particular video. I do recall you mentioning them in other videos
Sinus issues gingivitis and other health related conditions are the biggest factors.
Tonsil stones are also a major factor.
I appreciate your input.
I gave my father clove tea and fennel tea for this problem...worked like a charm...
Hello Digoravas. Do you mix them
