Nano-Hydroxyapatite Convinced me that Toothpaste Matters
มุมมอง 3.8K2 หลายเดือนก่อน
I have always been indifferent when it came to the toothpaste I used. However after this 30 day experiment with Nano-Hydroxyapatite Toothpaste, my mind has changed on the impact that toothpaste can have on oral hygiene. Mini correction in the video, it DOES whiten teeth through remineralization. I misread the study! Links: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC10562112/ www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/...

if you keep drinking water constantly it flushes away your saliva which is the substance that helps remineralise your teeth, try not to have water for an hour after chewing zellies gum.

Recently went for cleaning and came out with incredibly sensitive gums, immediately used waterpik, and grabbed Coco oil to start swirling. I've heard about it many times but was always too lazy to get on with it. I'm tree days in and absolutely love how my mouth feels after. I'm going to stick with it. Also I swirl it as long as I can, if I need to spit it out sooner, cool, I take a break and grab a fresh scoop and continue. Next cleaning appointment in six months so I'm curious what will the comments be haha

I’ve finally tried it for the first time. I have rheumatoid arthritis and gum disease came with it. I drink so much coffee. Teeth feel so clean, the hard gooey ball is the worse part of it lol then it’s fine. Will do it daily, and see how we go. I can’t afford my yearly clean this year

Have you tried drinking using pure homemade ginger tea?? You should add it as another experiment. I rinse it for 30s to 1 minute and drink some now and then since it's highly inflammatory and has loads of anti-oxidants. Unfortunately it still falls a bit short from oil pulling because oils have lipids that trap and isolate bacteria making it easier to flush them away.

A great, fun video. I love using Xylitol as a post eating/drinking rinse now, and it has improved my mouth health. You could always take your Xylitol gum to the bathroom and spit the first few mouthfuls out in the sink to reduce injestion ✨ I also love foraging Pine sap to use as a gum. I have Pine trees in my neighborhoods here. ...If you try this, just know the consistency of the sap is important for spotting a good gum-friendly piece (old vs new sap), and hot water can melt it all over your teeth (feels a mess but removable with oil), and cold water hardens it. It's a wonderful and healthy, and free, gum.

Never oil pull if you have dental amalgam fillings. Oil pulling will pull mercury out of the fillings which will then be absorbed into your tissues, inadvertently poisoning your body with mercury at a faster rate. I would recommend that you wait until you have had your amalgam fillings removed by a SMART certified dentist before you try oil pulling."

I have been oil pulling for a week and I already see and feel a difference in my overall oral health. My teeth are looking whiter and I don’t even feel the need to use mouthwash. My mouth feels light and fresh with just oil pulling and brushing.

3 levels of effective oil pulling 1. Coconut Oil 2. Castor Oil 3. Oregano Oil in coconut oil Add baking soda or hydrogen peroxide to the mix if you want. Personally, i've never tried hydrogen ygen peroxide, but i suspect it can at least disinfect I did oil pulling when i discovered a bump resembling a tooth abcess on my gum. Petrified, i started brushing my teeth with baking soda, then coconut oil pulled like crazy. It seems to have helped, but i was impatient, so i tried Castor Oil. It seems to work better but tasted bad, and i switched back to coconut oil. 2 weeks later, i feel healing wasn't fast enough, so i got Oregano Oil It worked so fast that by 2nd day, my 5-week long bump in my gum went down 50% 2 days later, it's all gone. Try all 3. You won't regret it. I planned to coconut oil pulling for good

I was just gifted a tube and therefore researching - one thought that comes to mind - every other toothpaste you brush, spit, rinse - this you leave on. Doesn't that mean over time you ate that tube of toothpaste? If it has such a profound effect on your teeth, whats it doing further down?

I am skeptical of some of the things Dr. Ellie recommends. The ingredients of the mouthwashes she recommends are questionable, and I also find it hard to believe her recommendation not to floss. However, this video also uses unfair judgement. The only product she sells herself are the zellies mints, which are priced similarily to other competitors. The other products she recommends are not owned by her and she would not get a kickback if you source them on your own. You also do not need to purchase her kits, her books or any courses. I got the system for free when I subscribed to her website. She does recommend root canals over implants which costs less. She would have no incentive to recommend a lower costing solution as a dentist.

For everyone asking whether coconut oil pulling and xylitol pulling can be used together: Source: ChatGPT Using coconut oil pulling with xylitol might provide a unique combination for oral health, but it’s generally recommended to use them separately for maximum benefit. Here’s why: Coconut Oil: Coconut oil is naturally antibacterial, especially due to its lauric acid content, which has shown effectiveness against harmful oral bacteria, such as Streptococcus mutans. Oil pulling also reduces plaque and can improve overall oral hygiene by "pulling" out bacteria from hard-to-reach areas. Xylitol: Xylitol is a sugar alcohol that inhibits the growth of S. mutans by disrupting their energy production. It essentially "starves" the bacteria by reducing their ability to stick to teeth and form plaque. Combination and Timing Combining xylitol with coconut oil directly might dilute the oil’s effectiveness as the xylitol granules dissolve. Instead, here’s a recommended sequence: Step 1: Use xylitol in a chewable form, rinse, or lozenge to inhibit bacterial growth. Step 2: Oil pulling with coconut oil afterward for about 10-20 minutes can help remove loosened bacteria and deliver additional antibacterial effects. Using these methods separately allows each to work to its fullest potential while promoting an optimal environment for beneficial oral bacteria.

I mean... my grandmother used to lick some salt right after getting up and after every meal and she kept most of her teeth to the end. She just brushed her teeth once a day before going to bed and died aged 88. She was always telling us to do the same and we just thought it was sacrilegious. Like, shouldn't we restrict our salt intake in the first place? But then in hindsight maybe we're doing too much and causing more harm than good? I don't know whether her case was just anecdotal...

Where can i find reviews from people having done the system for a year and have periodontitis? Because the latest research of the microbiome!! Listerine is a killer invented 100 years ago and i do Dr Elle her system but the question is what it will do on the long run. It's common sense and factually true that bad bacteria are able to come back with a vengeance if the environment is too sterile for too long. All the devotional comments of people doing the system for a few weeks is jest annoying.
