@@angelgjr1999 Look up the 2014 Mirage with 414,000 miles with no major issues and 2 simple repairs and bought a new 2020 Mirage to replace it and they had no intention of trading it but the dealer wanted it for advertising to prove they do last. Has several articles on it. The owner satisfaction speaks for its self with Mirage and many people have bought them who were scared because negative reviews and couldnt be happier after watching my Mirage videos and deciding to purchase one once they see what the car is really like day to day from an owner. Many of them have well over 200,000 already. I have owned 3 Mirages now I bought each new 2015 Mirage ES, 2017 Mirage G4 SE, and now my 2021 Mirage SE plus 2 new 2019 Eclipse Cross Tourings and a 2016 Outlander Sport GT. I can say for us Mitsubishis have been the best and most reliable cars we have owned over our new Hyundais, Kias, Chevys and Dodge vehicles over the years from 2000-2021. I can speak from an owners perspective.

It would just look cool and get good mpg for 4 years or less. Mirage is for developing countries with poor people who need simple efficient repairable cars.

I have owned both a CVT and 5MT Mirage. Both solid little cars, the manual (like always) is superior, but in the Mirage transforms it into a completely different car. While 78 HP isn't a lot, in a 2000 lb car with a stick, the little 3 pot growls at low rpm and sings at 7 grand. Its a hoot to toss around corners, slow car driven fast. Sadly you lose a LOT of this with the CVT. I feel like a lot more Car Reviewers would actually feel like this was actually a hero car if they got to drive the stick instead of having their first impression be the CVT...

I owned the manual mirage and it not even that quicker than CVT. Zippy? Sure but thr Mirage is not for speed.

Europeans didn't account for American payload. 1/2 a ton of tube steak.

I can get my Mirage 0-60 in about 10 seconds. I weigh 130 and keep about 50 lbs of tools and junk in it.

You guys are just snobs!!! You need to quit throwing around the idea that everyone Qualifies for the Non-refundable tax credit for purchasing an electric car.
How many people who can only afford a $20,000 car will qualify for a tax credit? NONE ! Pull your head out guys, It just ain't gonna happen. if you will do the math you would not even think that. If a person makes $75k a year, they MIGHT qualify but only if they have no kids. If they had 2 or more kids the refundable earned income tax credits would return enough to give them a refund. So non-refundable credits would just be a waste of time including them in their return as the would give them an additional $0 return.
Face it a new electric car is a rich man's toy. It is an extrremely fast vehical to run around town in. For any other use, such as a road trip they are just too much trouble and too wasting of time to make even a little sense. Face it even IF you could find one that could go 500 miles on a charge, and IF you can luckily find yourself close to a charger at that time you run out, they would still take a couple of hours longer to drive from Denver to Los Angeles. In a comparison between an electric Mini and a Mitsubishi the Mitsu would get there close to 4 hours earlier.

The Mirage is going out of production soon. I think this is the only video you guys ever filmed of the Mirage and it was obviously just you guys having fun goofing off. I'd love to see you do a proper farewell video for the Mirage. A real test. It's the cheapest automatic-equipped car sold in the U.S. and owners seem to adore them. America loses yet another affordable economy car. Hurry and film it before it's too late!
