Give Isaac a forged grimoire. This will complete the 'good ending of the mission, keeping Isaac's family alive, resulting in the shop never closing. Alternatively, get Hugo, the bandit released from the prison, take out the bandit crew (located in the ancient ruins after the first interaction) and he will ask for ideas of what to do with his life. You can recommend him reopening Isaac's shop in Bakbattal and voila, shop is open again, even if you get the bad ending to Isaacs original quest 🙏🏻👍
I got the bad ending. I thought he was going to go blind, or die himself. I was willing to help him to his own stupid demise. I didn't see his family getting bibically wiped out like that. I love this game so much and have messed up enough to already want a new game. Lol.
Also if you keep his family alive, Isaac will then later sell the first part of The Transference of Soul book in his shop. Combining it with part 2 will create a grimoire than can do the Celestial Paean spell
A fast travel trip tip i have as well is. If you pick up someone and ferry stone, they come with you. Came in handy to solve a riddle that would require crossing half the map with a certin item. I brought the target recipent to the item instead. Pick them up, ferry, put down.
Just a heads-up, Cliodnah the magick archer maister's quest to open up her vocation also opens up her husband as a smithy. Not only does he sell some of the best weapons pre endgame, he also offers to upgrade your gear in dwarven style, too.
here is a good tip when doing the sphinx quest after the first 5 riddles as the sphinx goes to leave jump on it and use a stamina regen skil like galvanise from sorcerer and she will give you a free ride all the way to her second dwelling
@@A_Dog_You_Know there is also a quest dealing with the coral snakes bandits if you do that, Hugo the guy that gets captured needs a job so if you give Issac the real copy Hugo will go man the store in his place. Yeah and with Hugo for some reason it was easy to raise his affinity while he’s at the shop and you will quickly get a 10% discount paying only 9000G for ferrystones
I love that I completely the dwarven blacksmith on my 90h first playthrough only to find him in the endgame to realize that different blacksmiths give you different upgrades. NG+ is gonna be a blast.
Except for things like Sorcerers which won’t get hit by enemies physically if running the Thief augment for enemies not to focus you. For these you want Elven since only spells will be hitting you, like Dragon spells.
I actually made a sorta Fencer styled Build. If you wanna make this build here is what you want. For you Vocation go with Warfarer. You can also go for a Fighter but I went with Warfarer mainly for a specific armor set that I think fits the best for the playstyle. You'll also want the Silver Rapier and no Shield(Trust me you wont need it) and you gonna want to go full Dwarven Upgrade on the Rapier. This will allow you to do the finishing stab alot more often. And the abilities you want are Brink strike/Burst Strike, Airward Slash/Cloudward Slash,Gouging Skewer/Gutting Skewer, and Hindsight Slash/Hindsight Sweep. Burst strike allows you to close the distance on enemies quickly while hitting them with a powerful stab. The Cloudward slash can be used as a decent Anti Air attack against Harpies but can also be useful against blocking enemies. Gutting Skewer will not only allow you to pin a target and stab them repeatedly. But can also be used when grappling onto large monsters to get some Helfty stabs. And lastly the Hindsight Sweep will allow you to Dodge incoming attacks and counter attack. It might take some getting used to but if you master it you Honestly won't even need a Shield in most situations. Augments are completely up to what you prefer to use. As for armor you want to wear the Wardancer hat, Nobles Jacket, and the Dapper Chausses. I feel like this outfit just fits the Aesthetic of a Fencer but you will need to be a Warfarer if you wish to wear this along with the Rapier.
12:50 you can actually give him a forged copy of the book and complete his quest. All you have to do is request a forgery at the same store you buy the book at and the spell he's trying to do fails leading him to go back to being a vendor.
He also helps her to repair the sword as the dialogues indicate. He's a stubborn softie. End credits if you finished this quest, you see he still helps her and smirks as he sees how good she's working.
@@YamiSonSC Yeah he's spreading misinformation. You also CAN remove upgrades. It's clearly a feature if you aren't completely blind. The dragon forged allows it. (In NG+)
dwarven smithing can be unlocked via another dwarven npc located east of the exit to drabnir's grotto, that ones far less convoluted and accessible without ferrystones as the entire questline is completed on the same landmass, plus its an elf + dwarf couple so its pretty cute
I started the quest with Sara working on repairing the sword, and progressed it to the point she went to the Volcanic island. Then I went to the island and finished both dwarven smithing quests at the same time, unlocking dwarven enhancements (and their stores), the Molten Fury, the Magick Archer, the Warfarer, and one other quest all in one run.
12:40 - I made a Forgery of the book he wanted, got a decent bit for completing it (10-12k). I'd save at an inn and give him the real book if you want to see something interesting, and get a ring.
12:50 There are 2 things which you can/may do with his shop/quest. 1. Quest -> You can give him forged book, his family will be alive and thats all 2. If you gave him normal book and he killed his family -> There is Hugo quest, and at the end you can "give him a hint" about job, and i send him to "Yennefer" (The black hair courtisan) but had option "Issac shop" which i didnt pick. So there is a posibility that he will sell items instead of Issac if you finished quest this way :)
Tip on collecting glimmercoal for the mission: When you walk up to the glimmercoal (as opposed to glimmercole) the prompt to pick it up is ‘Gather’. That’s how you know you have the right one. So instead of playing games with lighting to figure out which ones are glowing and which aren’t just walk around looking for the resource nodes that say ‘Gather’ (I believe the glimmercole says something like ‘Examine’ or ‘Extract’). Much quicker way to get all you need.
All these armours and weapons you end up getting from Sara are available from the Weapon/Armoury vendor in the volcanic springs town as soon as you can get there. ( they were for me at least and I went super early, pre lvl 20) its just that you most likely won't have the coin to get a full set at in the early game.
Wondering if the shield that reflects Medusa's ray is an easter egg from greek miths. Medusa's head is actually attached to Athena's Shield in ancient greece. Though I'm not sure why they would call it "Daugher of Evening".
One of the Hesperides, the Daughters of Evening, was said by Fulgentius to be called Medusa. Probably not the same Medusa as the Gorgon Medusa that's the inspiration for the game monster, but I think this coincidence is what the devs used to name the shield with this epithet
12:30 If you complete the shop owner's quest, and he leaves, you can put Hugo or what ever his name was, the bandit boy that gets put in prison, to work in that shop in his stead. + that he sell some new items like a purple bandit mask and a black one.
I don't know why this is the first video covering blacksmithing TBH. I'm in a similar position of I knew the forge was for something, but nobody had mentioned the quest from Vern that unlocks this chain. Now I have something to work on tonight because I knew about smithing, but had no clue what to do for it and now I see it should have been a priority. FML, so much meta knowledge to acquire lol.
There's a dwarven smith you can unlock by doing the mystic archer unlock quest, if that helps. I didn't discover the convenient dwarven smith until much later
12:28 You can complete his sidequest and still access his shop perfectly fine. All you have to do is give him a forgery of the tome he wants and his experiment will fail, letting him continue to live his life with his family.
In regards to issac not being a vendor. You can complete the quest but making a forgery of the tome he wants and giving him the fake. This allows you to finish the quest and keep him as a vendor. He will also sell you the other half of the tome so you can combine the two. Hope this helps
I'm curious how many interesting forgery interactions there are. I did this one with Isaac as well as making a duplicate Gaol key early on. I made copies of a lot of quest items that lead to nothing, but maybe that will let me speed run NG+
I had issue with cutting off medusa head. Used lightning affinity and stabbed its head with slash weapon and it came off. Can use weak slash weapon to preserve head longer
12:30 @khrazeGaming VERY misleading information here. There are TWO outcomes to Issacs side quest. (1) You give him Transference of Souls Book #2 and it locks the store out. (2) Give him a copy of Transference of Souls (Transit of Souls) Book #2. The ritual fails and he apologizes and resumes the shop operation. He will then sell you Transference of Souls Book #1. IF you choose option (1) and he no longer is working the store, when you complete 'Mercy Among Thieves' and the Subsequent quest 'Off the Pilfered Path' ( You should complete Shadowed Prayers first). You can recommend Hugo to work the Store OR work at Rose. You can ONLY do this if you respect the time mechanic of the quest and provide Hugo with the Truth AND beat him to Lonzo. Else he will die.
Carry the Dwarf during his escort quest toward the spring. Unlike other NPCs he doesn't struggle when you pick him up and happily rests in your arms. Just put him down when you encounter enemies.
I went ahead and put a portcrystal at the spa..where you pay to get in. I tried carrying him to start with, however he always got in the way during monster fights so I found this way the best solution for me..
Just to clarify something about the dragon's plague. NPCs never respawn. Yes the town will repopulate but none of the NPCs are the same ones. Happened to me, my morgue is still filled with hundreds of the dead yet my town has more people.
Lmao for Isacc vendor you can complete his quest and he will still continue being the vendor. How? He is asking for a book, go buy the book at checkpoint and guess what? Do a forgery!!!!! That will create another book that is fake, gave the fake book and you get the Happy ending of the quest and this is the way you complete the quest and keep him as a vendor!!!!!!!!! Also, once this happens, as he will continue being the vendor, he will now sell you the part 1 of the book he is looking for and guess what? Now you can have both part 1 and part 2 of the book!
In regards to Issac as a vendor, if you complete his sidequest, you're able to go replace him with Hugo when he is looking for a job. You'll also get a discount at the store when you do this.
You can unupgrade gear in NG+ with help of from the Dragonforged. So if you're like me and want everything to be dwarven and don't want to necessarily buy (or find) all the stuff again having the wrong upgrade for a bit isn't a huge deal.
Wyrmfire upgrade is available as soon as you meet that npc, so its not an endgame unlock. Infact if you sneak your way into battahl you can meet the wymfire before ever getting to bakbattahl.
Dwarven makes sense on everything when you look at the differences. Once you have it leveled to 3 difference between your strength or magic stat is 21 when compared to dwarven. Your knockdown is increased by at least 100 though every time. I would rather have that over an extra 21 in magic or strength in all situations.
What are you even comparing to dwarven to say the difference between whatever and dwarven is 21? If im upgrading the best magick bow with elven the damage difference between that and dwarven is over double what you say. Especially when the upgrades are percentage based.
For example if I upgrade the heavens key daggers in bahttali level 3 they are 459 but knockdown stays at 234. If I upgrade in elven magic goes to 600 and knockdown stays at base level 234 just like bahttali. If I upgrade to level 3 in dwarven. The strength goes to 429 only a 30 point difference and 560 in magic, a 40 point difference. The knockdown increases to 409. That’s a 175 point increase compared to others. In my opinion I’d rather have that knockdown difference and lose out on strength and magic. Still a matter of opinion but knockdown helps out so much in all situations. All the other weapons I have looked at have similar numbers.
You’re also wrong about double in bow magic. The dragons breath at level 3 in elven goes to 524. Level 3 in dwarven goes to 489. That’s a 35 point difference. Knockdown is 175 at elven level 3 and 306 for dwarven level. Like is said matter of opinion but I’d rather have the knockdown difference.
@@schwaaby0379 Im not wrong at all lmao. You were stating its only a 21 damage difference between two different enhancement styles at max. Which is false. You do whatever though and can stay wrong.
Sorry I was off by like 20. I wasn’t looking at the numbers. I love how a difference in opinion on the internet means you’re just wrong. 😂 my point was the large difference between knockdown numbers when comparing that to the difference between magic and strength numbers. Over a 100 point difference compared to even 40 is a lot. It’s a game you do you. Internet trolls always have to be right though. If I’m wrong I’m good with. I’m just comparing numbers. Just not sure how 100 isn’t better than 40 😂
You can complete Isaac's quest with a forgery book and get a good ending to his quest. Leave town and come back and you can buy the book from him. It's still not worth it but you can give him a happy ending. I found the ring you can get from giving him the book in one of the caves south east from the city
You can complete isaacs quest by giving him a forgery of the second book. He will sell u the first volume after 1 days rest which then after u can combine with the vol.2 u already have.
You CAN in fact reset smithing upgrads in NG+ for 1 WLC at the dragonforged. Dwarven smithing is best for everything since tons of knockdown / knockdown resist is better than a few points more in damage. Isaac is still a vendor if you do the quest correctly. Dont give him the real second book, just give him a forged version and you will get a good ending
The NPC Hugo who is attached to the "off the pilfered path" quest,( just on the other side of the wall at checkpoint town) will take over the shop in bakbattahl if you complete the quest properly and if you completed the quest for buddy with the grimoires and gave him the real ones. Note you can make fakes at the counterfeiter and prevent him from going blind but still finish the quest.
Speaking of the smithy quest Sara ended up as my love interest at the end with the dragon, despite me having forgotten all about her by that point in the game. I guess it could have been a loooot worse than her though.
If you look deeper into the cave there is a chest with a far stone 2 seeker medallions and good gremwars and a wakestone sharde if you head up the stares past the forge she also sells all of the best wepons you can buy not find in the world but buy
The smith in Bakkbatahl isn't the only place that sells those weapons and armors. You can also get them from the dwarf, which I actually unlocked before bothering with the smith/sword quest. Great tip on upgrading "caster" gear though. The game gives you too much magic defense as it is, and it's mostly useless for a player character outside of harpy sleep. You need more physical defense and knockdown/interrupt defense, which Mages, Sorcerers and Magick Archers are lacking in severely. If you want the best of all worlds though, seach out 150 tokens, get the Charming Corset (makes you look utterly ridiculous though), and then go ham on Dwarven upgrading.
If you do lose Isaac, you can later do Hugo's quest (after the gate in the checkpoint rest area, just need to give some food/money to the starving kid) and by the end, you can tell him to work at the store, he will already come with a 5% discount since you helped him.
For Issac, I was doing side quests normally, I gave him the book and finished his quest, then I went and free this kid from prison that you can help finding a job, and I got the option for him to take Isaac's place at the shop, so I never realized he would close the shop after his quest 😂
Weapons that have powerful knockdown skills benefit from Dwarven, otherwise it's probably the best overall for Armor because knockdown res is very good, especially for Sorcerer and Mage. And obviously Elven is best for Magic classes, Battahli for strength, and maybe Vermundian for the hybrid classes.
If you got the bad ending for Isaac’s quest you can get Hugo to work at that shop and he’ll have the same inventory plus will start with a 5% discount for getting him the job.
sick video!!! and thanks for the tip!! love your content they also helped me out w/ your cyberpunk2077 vids -- it's always handy to find these hidden mechanics 😁😁
You can give Issac a forged grimoire he’s asking for OR apparently when rescuing Hugo from jail and he ask about what to do next, you can give him Issac’s shop and he becomes the NPC
You can do the 2nd dwarf the moment you enter bathal, just run there and ignore everything. It is much faster and gives you access to his and the volcanic island shop which is the best stuff you can get b4 endgame. Sarah's quest takes aaaaaages. Volcanic island shop lady takes flowers and you can get her to 20% discount with a few rests.
First thing I did in NG+ was run to dwarf smith just to carry him to his precious hot spring. Only later I found I could've done the sword quest for the same trouble and had a more accessible smith.
@@Syaniitirun to griffin nest at the back of the misty marches, pick up portcrystal, sneak into bathal (or buy mask), run to 2nd dwarf, bring him to hotspring, place crystal. access to best smithing style + endgame vendor in hotspring camp. What I did. The sword quest is dependant on main story progression and takes multiple ingame days.
@@rhodan74 Sure you can portcrystal to the dwarf no issue but then you essentially need to port crystal to wyrmfire too before you're done. Also I don't think the sword quest needs all that much main story progress, meeting with Brant(?) might be enough. And resting is free so multiple ingame days doesn't really mean anything.
Well, the guy who leaves the store, if you do the Hugo quest right (the gut imprisoned from the coral snakes) Geol Cell he will take over the store. Before you go see him at the jail sale though. Make sure you finish the quest where you protect and find the assassin from killing the princess lady in Bakbattahl.. if you do the quest before finishing that quest, the assassin won’t be in the jail sale next to Hugo and won’t be able to tell you some important information to get him to changes his life and become the owner of the store. But before you do the Hugo quest, make sure you do the side quest for that guy so he does leave the store! This game has so many twists and decisions you could play at many times over and still not do everything right
You acutaully can in ng + mode there is a option to reset the stuff from the dragon gear guy. Also for the vender if you give him a fake copy of the tome you can still access his shop.
One thing you said in the video was that you can't retract the smithing upgrades once you've done them. That's actually not true as the dragonforged will allow you to reset the upgrades for 1 crystal
Another trick for traveling without doing any weird spammy stuff is, you can L1 and Quick-Use Restistance items with the digital down, so save up your resistance consumables.
There's an alternative way to unlock dwarven smithing. You can start it at the arbour heart that's how I got it the first time. Where sge dustracts the smith so you can get her the scale stuff off of the ground.
Warfare vocation is the best lol, some of the master ultimate aren’t good enough, so I have spear hand for the shield and nutty damage, dual dagger to clear trash mob but the spear does the work, and then magical archer for long range and I love using it its basically auto aimbot XD (use the ability different from all the other vocation where they use the left button, use the right and use the button for special effect) I have killed harpies, the golem, salamanders and dragon where in the air and I wanted to target their heart. Plus you actually have alll and I mean all the perks of every vocation!!! Imagine having levitate but being a melee XD it’s nutty warfare is by far the best vocation.
@12:46 I'm sorry but I have to stop you here, by not completing this quest you also prevent the redemption of Hugo from the Coral Snake's gang, you can tell him that the alchemist shop has now no more tennant, he will then takes it place, selling the same items but with a 5% discount.
You can actually also get dwarven smithing upgrades if you take the old dwarf guy to the hot springs on the volcanic island, and then visit him back at his home (it’s also how you unlock magic archer if I’m not mistaken, his wife is the maister)
you do but the difference is- you're likely to drop a Portcrystal in Batahl anyway (and you have all sorts of merchants and an Oxcart ride between there and Vernworth) - much more convenient spot than a remote hut
As for short sightet ambition (issac quest the potion seller in the desert) just give hima forgery and it will all end well... what this game is teaching us that you can always fake your way to good ending :P
you can complete Isaac's quest by giving him a forgery of the book he wants. That's the happy ending., byt if you already gave him the book, you can do brunos quest and at the end, send him back to bakkbathal and he will become the merchant
My pawns don't open chests. Unless ive already opened one in a room or have gathered items nearby. Setting their mood/personality doesn't change that either. Even had a pawn say they could reach that, i said go and than she proceeded to float up to it and than.... Just jump back down and offer again.
bought the game but am new the this genre of video games. is there a specific story line i should be following or just do every little quest that comes up ?

It only closes his shop if you give him the book. I made a forgery of the book he wanted, and what he was trying to do failed. His store is still open for me, and I've completed his quest. Also, you can take the upgrades off of the weapons.
Just give Isaac a forged soul transfer 2 grimoire so he doesn't kill his family. He remains at the shop and stays in business. He will also sell you the soul transfer 1 grimoire you can combine with the real 2 book and create a spell book casting the Mages ultimate skill. This also snowballs into the Hugo quest where if you get an outcome where you defeated his old gang boss and wonders about what he should do now you wont be able to tell him to work at Isaccs shop since he is still there but you can hook him up at the brothel in vernworth instead as a bouncer/doorman.
If your main pawn has the Dragonpleage, just grab them and throw them off a clif. Then resurecct them. Worked for me just fine. Khraze: You can find Riftstones that spawn very tall ladies. Me: Hmm... Interesting. Where would I find such a riftstone? Just so I can avoid it, of course.
As for issac. Either give him a forgery of the grimore or you can give the shop to hugo if issac already left. Hugo the coral snake kid you help out. Hugo a good kid. I did the hugo method. The forgery grimore will get you 16k gold and issac will stay.
importan tips to everyone anyone having issue with npcs doesnt show up or quest stucked chosse the quest that has issue as primary visit oracle there is one shop called devine in vernworth ask her she will tell you the name of the npc who is dead and where you can find it take a wakestone with you go to morgue ask you will find his cufin with candle next to it wake it with wakestone and sleep and continue your quest
Make sure you make and bring 5 newt liquors with you for the warfarer vocation and maister skill. Saves a lot of time and boom. Make sure you talk to the elf lady again for her maister skill too.
You can complete Isaacs quest and continue shopping stones, just complete one another quest before it, eazy peazy, see you can hire a new salesman to take Isaacs place.
so a trick for Isaacs quest he will ask you for the book but you can make a forgery of that book to give to him and the spell will fail because there's no magic in that forgery Isaacss family will live and he gives up on the book and will even sell you the other copy so you can cast the spell yourself, alternatively if you did get his family killed you can complete Hugos quest off the pilfered path and if he survived you can advise him to re open the shop
You can complete issacs side quest just make a forgery of the book and give it to him then you can buy the other half from him. I just can’t access him anymore bc of dragons plague :(
You can also just gift the regular owner and give him a forged book. He keeps the shop open, after you max Affinity which is faster than getting Hugo, you get a 10% discount.
You can still complete that vendors quest just make a forgery of the book he wants and give it to him thats what I did completed the quest and I can still buy stuff from him.
You can get Hugo to run the store and he sells the stones. Or you can give Isaac a fake version of the book and then the spell doesn't work and his family stays alive and he keeps selling the stones.
For the tedious mission of getting the dwarf to the hotsprings, I plan to use the Sealing phial on him, and just drop him at the destination, might work
@@RetySempai Not really. Every time you have to transport a NPC you can just pick them up and use a ferrystone instead so the phial is kind of pointless honestly.

12:50 you can actually give him a forged copy of the book and complete his quest. All you have to do is request a forgery at the same store you buy the book at and the spell he's trying to do fails leading him to go back to being a vendor.
Yep. And, if you do give him the real one and he leaves, you can then convince the dude in jail from the bandit quest to take over as the shopkeeper
I gotta defend my boy Brokkr, he doesn't FAIL to repair it, he just doesn't do it. He may be a lazy bastard but he is not incompetent my good sir
Yes, give that man his rotten apple and fish stew. He raised a good apprentice.
hes retired and by the great will does he mean retired, trains one heck of an apprentice though
True bro gave me a chance to quest with the baddest girl in the game
He also helps her to repair the sword as the dialogues indicate. He's a stubborn softie. End credits if you finished this quest, you see he still helps her and smirks as he sees how good she's working.
**Pro Tip** Eternal Wakestones can duplicated as forgeries indefiinitely.
Slimes don't react differently dependent on elemental attack, its actually that they are different slimes, the ones that explode are made out of oil.
He’s just repeating and taking what he hears from other videos he doesn’t know much about the game clearly.
That's most content creators lol
@@YamiSonSC Yeah he's spreading misinformation. You also CAN remove upgrades. It's clearly a feature if you aren't completely blind. The dragon forged allows it. (In NG+)
dwarven smithing can be unlocked via another dwarven npc located east of the exit to drabnir's grotto, that ones far less convoluted and accessible without ferrystones as the entire questline is completed on the same landmass, plus its an elf + dwarf couple so its pretty cute
I happened to do this and Lammund’s quest back to back unlocking the magic archer, and the smithing at the same time
plus the elf will give you magic archer
I started the quest with Sara working on repairing the sword, and progressed it to the point she went to the Volcanic island. Then I went to the island and finished both dwarven smithing quests at the same time, unlocking dwarven enhancements (and their stores), the Molten Fury, the Magick Archer, the Warfarer, and one other quest all in one run.
12:40 - I made a Forgery of the book he wanted, got a decent bit for completing it (10-12k).
I'd save at an inn and give him the real book if you want to see something interesting, and get a ring.
For isaac if you get the bad ending where he leaves you can do the bandit questline and have hugo replace him and you get a discount to boot
Thats what I did, and I like this as a solution better.
at this point I‘m just watching every single dragon‘s dogma 2 video you release
12:40 you can tell Hugo, the thief guy from another quest to go work there. Just do his quest and the shop will work as it always has.
12:50 There are 2 things which you can/may do with his shop/quest.
1. Quest -> You can give him forged book, his family will be alive and thats all
2. If you gave him normal book and he killed his family -> There is Hugo quest, and at the end you can "give him a hint" about job, and i send him to "Yennefer" (The black hair courtisan) but had option "Issac shop" which i didnt pick. So there is a posibility that he will sell items instead of Issac if you finished quest this way :)
you can complete Isaac’s questline giving him a forged version of the Book he’s looking for and still have him as a shopkeeper
Tip on collecting glimmercoal for the mission:
When you walk up to the glimmercoal (as opposed to glimmercole) the prompt to pick it up is ‘Gather’.
That forager info is actually fantastic. I thought it just labeled random stuff. Thank you.
I didn't discover the convenient dwarven smith until much later
the magic archer's meister husband (dwarf) gives dwarven smithing, all i did was complete the magic archer quest and i had it!
12:28 You can complete his sidequest and still access his shop perfectly fine. All you have to do is give him a forgery of the tome he wants and his experiment will fail, letting him continue to live his life with his family.
All of the stuff Sara sells can also be bought at the vendor on Volcanic Isle albeit without the 10% discount.
You can also unlock Dwarven Smithing via the Arcane Archer quest line too.
First tip always should be. Remember where you found your FIRST SEEKER TOKEN.
Great video! Congrats on your channel man, it's insane how many views you get. 4.5k in 40 minutes, wtf. Something to aspire to.
Now you can have both part 1 and part 2 of the book!
and guess what, thank you for the info huh
@@TheWolfDude91 and guess what! You are welcome!!!
Can you combine the grimoires for a spell or are they useless
I have to reload my inn rest to save this family haha
In regards to Issac as a vendor, if you complete his sidequest, you're able to go replace him with Hugo when he is looking for a job. You'll also get a discount at the store when you do this.
You can also make a forgery of the second book Issac wants and give that to him and it will keep the shop open and complete the quest
12:53 I gave him a counterfeit version of the book and it completed the quest / he’s still selling stuff.
you can also replace him with Hugo
Dwarven compared to anything else is a difference of 10-50 power and 200-400 knockdown power, I'll stick to dwarven all the way.
I pair the smoke bomb with the archer augment where u deal more dmg when an enemy is out of battle stance
You can give Issac a forged grimoire he’s asking for OR apparently when rescuing Hugo from jail and he ask about what to do next, you can give him Issac’s shop and he becomes the NPC
new game plus, can reset your gears forge upgrades by speaking to the dragon forged, aswell as some other nice things
This game has so many twists and decisions you could play at many times over and still not do everything right
Why is this better than just giving Isaaac the fake book?
Not to mention being able to use any armor you want, the fashion is real.
15:31 I conpleted his quest in the endgame so I could evacuate the town but cuz he was so slow i carried him instead
@12:46 I'm sorry but I have to stop you here, by not completing this quest you also prevent the redemption of Hugo from the Coral Snake's gang, you can tell him that the alchemist shop has now no more tennant, he will then takes it place, selling the same items but with a 5% discount.
If you give a forgery version of "on the transference of souls 2" to Isaak in order to complete his mission, he'll still be open for business.
For the "spring in your step" quest I just put him in the sealing Phial from the sphinx quests
I keep forgetting I have that so I just carried him.
Whatever your heart desires
Do things as they come up is probably the recommended thing, especially early game when you need to level
Foragers can only tell you about materials they know exist. Don't know about it? Then can't tell you about it.
QED
OH... and yes, I've watched many of your vids over the years. Lots of knowledge. And yes I will sub... when you start using bookmarks, as many people have advised. Helps us... which helps you. 😁
Height and weight for thief and mystic spear hand recommendations? Have you done any testing
So, what smithing do I use for a bow? It's not magic, so do I treat it like melee?
Dwarven as knockdown power staggers enemies much easier, locking them on place even with normal shots
damn I went to and met Brokk cuz of the Elfs way before doing the main story. Now I see why I couldnt get him to open up, I fed the man!
For all those "take me there" escort quests, you can just pick up the NPC and throw a ferrystone
importan tips to everyone anyone having issue with npcs doesnt show up or quest stucked chosse the quest that has issue as primary visit oracle there is one shop called devine in vernworth ask her she will tell you the name of the npc who is dead and where you can find it take a wakestone with you go to morgue ask you will find his cufin with candle next to it wake it with wakestone and sleep and continue your quest
As a Warrior, use Ravening Lunge to travel the map quickly.
Make sure you make and bring 5 newt liquors with you for the warfarer vocation and maister skill. Saves a lot of time and boom. Make sure you talk to the elf lady again for her maister skill too.
Only took 3 for me 🤷
@@brianbiswell7591took 4 for me 🤷♂️
It’s 3 not 5
What if you sold your sword on accident? I can’t find it anywhere. The forgery guy doesn’t have it either. Any ideas?
I just can’t access him anymore bc of dragons plague :(
What point does the guard quest trigger in front of vernworth?
for the dwarven walk quest u can pick him up and just run him them much easier nd he wont get upset
I did one dwarven smith on each piece of mage gear. My mage pawn is doing amazing
You want to do the store quest and then you can put the coral snake kid as the owner and you get items cheaper
For Super Speed, try celerity then Ravening lunge. ❤
For the tedious mission of getting the dwarf to the hotsprings, I plan to use the Sealing phial on him, and just drop him at the destination, might work
Don't, save your one use item and use a ferrystone instead
@@drakenastor Is there any better use for the item?
@@RetySempai Not really. Every time you have to transport a NPC you can just pick them up and use a ferrystone instead so the phial is kind of pointless honestly.
@@LonesomeSparrow7 But the thing is, if you just picked the mission up, the destination is probably not uncovered yet
