In 2021 small controllers can be a really cool thing. I am looking for a gear that is small to be mobile. This is why I ordered the reloop buddy. To me it seemed perfect - low weight, 5v input, charging the ipad as well. So everything seemed perfect. I also like the mechanics of the fx trigger. But I must say I am really disappointed by the built in sound card. The controller makes terrible noises sometimes which makes it unusable even for a house party. It would be a great gear if the components built in were higher quality. Sad thing. 230 Euros/Dollars for a toy is too much Maybe reloop will publish another version of this with 3 eq bands and another soundcard - and eventually I'd recommend at least a line output, or xlr when the size is a bit bigger. Thank you for the video so far. Was fun to watch anyway.
I have a question if you don’t mind When the controller is connected directly to the iPad works fine, however, when I try to use an adaptor so I can have access to a hard disk or simply charge the iPad the software doesn’t recognize the controller. Do you know why?
I dont think you made a wrong choice, especially now it comes mapped to djay. When i brought my fx i had to map it myself which wasn’t fun. You can still access neutral mix etc its bigger and you have full eq. Also i like the long pitch faders. Must say i still want a buddy though lol
I have both, and I would say that the Reloop Beatpad 2 is probably a bit more iPad king, just because it's of much higher quality It's doesn't have the AI stuff labeled on it, though Great video!
The Buddy looks nice, but considering it’s the same price as the Numark Platinum FX (which works with a simple adapter and is natively supported), it’s a much better option for the money.
It works fine. Just remember that it's not a production tool. So don't expect to get a perfect acapella/instrumental It's a mixing tool. Just like if you use filter and/or EQ while beat mixing - just a lot better/more creative in use
Finally a demonstrator that can actually show you what the gear is capable of in a charismatic way. Im subscribing.
These videos are just fun to watch...I love all the content keep it up
You should be able to set total kill on eq within the app
This is true! Fairly new addition to Algoriddim's Djay but is now possible 🙏

Yes the Beatpad is a step up in price from the Buddy, so getting what you pay for with the extra quality on that unit. Glad you enjoyed the video! 🙂
what's the CHEAPEST iPad compatible with this thing?
Thanks brooo
Incredible

What's been your experience with Neural Mix? Does it completely isolate vocals, drums etc or do you get that odd hissing distortion?
It works fine. Just remember that it's not a production tool. So don't expect to get a perfect acapella/instrumental
