I have an iPad and a Reloop Buddy and I know for a fact that you need to connect the iPad to the Buddy using an USB cable. There are no USB cables (besides the one for power, which is alternatively used for PC/Mac) entering your Reloop Buddy. I think I can also see the switch on the Buddy being set to the “PC” mode. What’s going on there?

I don't think so! The 8th gen one is pretty recent, and as long as you don't have any performance issues with it, it should work fine. Check Algoriddim's website for compatibility, but I don't think there should be any.
Pretty much both Han'z! I know of some software that allow you to mix without equipment, but that's like trying to drive a car with just one hand and no legs. The equipment helps a LOT when it comes to mixing.
Well, the DJControl Mix is essentially identical to the Starlight except for some other features! Also, I don't have a Starlight, so I can't make a mix on it yet haha

I actually tackled downloading from TH-cam in one of my videos, and it's an absolute no no for bar and club gigs. You'll hear the dip in sound quality, believe me. As for the songs, I really get my music from record pools, so monthly fees is really it. You pay for quality Jerwin!
