Hey, I really only want to use my iPad. What is the setup for going live, for example on TikTok or IG? Using only, iPad and iPhone for camera? How do I get the sound and the camera going and headphones, etc.? Thanks.
Hi for live streaming look for gaming live stream apps. To record videos of your DJ sets do a screen recording on your iPad at exactly the same time as you press record on the phone and take out the audio from the phone and keep the screen recording audio you can do this in iMovie or similar software
I have DJ2GO2 touch and the Hercules Starlight as well as Party Mix II, DDJ-200, and DJ Mix. Both the Touch and Party Mix II work perfectly with DJay Pro and Serato. The Starlight has a weird lag issue with the jog wheels on DJay Pro (but not Serato) and lacks browse and load buttons but does have a switchable bass/effect. The DDJ-200 is the DDJ-400 Lite with BT and without a sound card. It does work well with DJay Pro and WeDJ in spite of that. Finally, the DJ Mix is a BT version of the Starlight w/o the light effects and sound card, and is made for DJay Pro. Of the ones I have, I'd recommend the Touch for its $90usd price tag and solid design; great for beginners and mobile DJs
Hey I have a Macbook Pro 2017 model and its been getting hot whenever I do events outside (causing Serato and everything to freeze) so I'm now considering getting an Ipad solely for DJ'ing. I have a DDJ SX3 and I'm wondering how do you think that would work with an Ipad?

Thanks for this video by the way. A lot of fluff on some of these other videos I've seen on the web so far
Did you ever try a Pioneer DDJ - WEGO? Looks decent though discontinued for some reason
Yes i had the wego 3 i loved it!
@@justinspiegel6841 Do controls need to be dedicated ipad compatible? I've got a Numark party mix, is it possible to use that with an ipad?
@ yes that is pre mapped with djay pro plug and play
@@justinspiegel6841 Oh nice! Have you done a vid on which ipad spec you recommend for something like that?
I upgrade my gear 2 months ago. I was having Numark iDj pro and now I have Reloop Mixon 8
Good choice!
