Just bought Corolla cross Hybrid(23), and love it. 55 mpg(imperial) on highway. Very close to our 2015 Jetta TDI(63 mph). But, gas is cheaper, so I think we are about the same. Better safety features, more cargo space, and easier and cheaper to maintain. All black, looks awesome!
Lease is up on my 22 Rav 4 SE Hybrid within a year. I have been looking at the XSE versions of both models. Love the acidic blast color and it has nice wheels. Not having a spare tire on the cross is a big drawback for me. As well as no heated steering wheel and rain, sensing wipers, both of which I have now on my RAV4.… I do like the compact size of the cross and the grill is awesome looking… Can I justify spending a little extra on the RAV4 and getting only three less miles per gallon combined? All comes down to which one fits the wallet good video one of the best I’ve seen on this car.
I went to buy the Corolla cross for our daughter. We already own a 2022 rav4 XSE (hybrid AWD) and a 2022 rav4 gas XLE AWD. The Corolla cross does have better front leg room, but that’s about it. The Corolla cross hybrid XSE is only about ~1000 less than what we paid for our brand new XSE rav4. I’d def spend the extra grand for the rav4.

meh, I'm 6'1 no problem with leg room in a Rav4 Hybrid The cross was cramped in the back seat. 4 adults can comfortably sit in a Rav 4. Should have bought the Hybrid. The non hybrid cross is gutless with only 169 hp.
Couldn't they put the power cable for the rear motor elsewhere? No spare tire is a deal breaker for me. That was lazy engineering. It seemed like the last thing to do , and the engineers just said , throw out the spare tire, i dont want to find a different way to route this cable. Drill a hole directly on top of the motor position.
That interior looks REALLY cheap, woah! When your run of the mill Nissan or Mitsubishi is way nicer inside, you might want to rethink quality Toyota... yikes!
Best auto reviews on youtube. You always cover the most important info and impressions.

I was thinking about a Honda crossover, but I keep seeing reviews that this Toyota Corolla Cross would be a better choice.

Too many complaints regarding the remote start system…the engine turning off when door is open. Glad they changed it.
I love everything about this car!
One of the best videos
I sat in a Corolla Cross (non-hybrid) and front row legroom is better than the Rav 4. I have long legs and this car is more comfortable for me.

@@mikej238 I prefer my rav4 hybrid due to more power and smoother ride than my gas rav4
How does it compare to your Maverick?
Great Review!!!
Nice review. I like the color
Great review! Dont have a spare tire, it more expense that toyota rav4 hybrid in some models. Sorry Toyota Rav4 wins.

Seems like the drive mode selection switch is awkwardly placed, especially for anyone who likes to change that setting frequently.
Assuming Toyota dealerships aren't trying to scam us with tremendous mark ups lol
Oh they will but if you’re willing to call around a possibly make a flight it may be possible
Excellent review! 🏆

No spare = D.O.A. !!
