Came over from Murray's walk with his brother, don't know who had the more comfortable weather conditions, either way you've got another sub, keep them vlogs coming.
Epic trip Ray. The shot of you on the rock with An Teallach behind was awesome. You did well to get round in the heat and a shame you lost some footage. Fantastic viewing. Well done. Mick.
Weather was a bit mixed, but we got good weather on most of the Munro tops. Photos photos.app.goo.gl/6e5GYonvSmPLAh1J9 and I will post the video soon. Thanks..
Excellent film Ray - and well done - never been so knackered than when I did this round - and that was in normal weather - let alone it being the hottest weather Scotland has seen in years !! Great stuff Catch up soon M
Thanks mate. Its one of those trips that you can only really appreicate if you have done it. Not as easy as the film makes it look and had a few steep and scary moments on some sections. Till later, Atb.
Good effort Ray. I'm sure there were blissful moments amid the physical strain. I mean the scenery was spectacular and the conditions perfect all be it a little dry. Grand has got to be the word. All the best. Mark
Hi Ray what an incredible adventure this is a stunning location and what a challenge I am sure this trek is about 18 miles so that in itself is amazing and to do this in that heat is an amazing achievement I really enjoyed this and the picture Quality is spot on I’ve watched this twice now and love it many thanks Ray for bringing us along
Thanks John and glad you enjoyed it. Wish I had filmed more of it now but was keen to get round and concerend about running out of water. Great experience though. Atb
Howdy Ray. Long time viewer, first time commenting. Been enjoying your vids for a good while now, but the visuals in this one are particularly awesome and I felt compelled to express my enthusiasm. Hope the last 3 strange months have been okay for yourself, and no doubt you'll be very pleased to hear we're all getting the go-ahead to return to the hills on the 3rd of July - feels like we've had to wait an eternity! All the best and looking forward to your future content.
Cracking video ma man. New subscriber tae. 👌 What a place Fisherfield is like. Finished aff the Munros last week with Robin. That looked hard work in the heat like. Barry stuff tho. 👍
Stunning scenery Ray, never done them and looked amazing, as always your visuals are stunning.. Crivens ...very funny, good self control on the language ! Cheers A
Fantastic ray as always what a place and a must do for me next year if I can. There is so much to cram in when I’m up Scotland lol . We’re do you start. Keep up the great vids mate cheers 👍⛺️🏴
Thanks Alan. It is a great place to visit but a long and hard slog. However even if you get to the bothy and do a camp on the first top like I did, that in itself is a great plaec to camp. Atb
Really, really enjoyed this one, just like the others. :) You continue to show and prove how well you do with editing and filming time and time again, and I really appreciate it! Amazing scenery, great choice of music and when to use it, excellent stuff. Cheers. :)
+Renegade Scot, Stunning footage and commentary. If you haven’t already mentioned it, what is the make of the meals that you use? Many Thanks, Jonathan
Hi Jonathan. I actually buy the foil stand-up zip pouches from Ebay. I get them in pack of 50-100 and not too expensive. I then buy some noodle meals such as Pot Noodle and lightly crush up the noodles and pour into the zip lock. You can even buy oxygen absorbers as well and chuck one in so once you have got out most of the air and zip lock it, keeps it fresh for a while. I will also maybe take a peporami and slice it up and chuck it in with the boiling water. If you get the bags you can do away with the bulky packaging and make up your own concoctions at a fraction of the price of the hiking meals. Atb
That was filmed with an old GoPro Hero 4 I think. My main camera has been the GoPro Hero 7 Black for the last couple of years and only just started using a Sony A6400 with sigma 16mm lens in last 4-5 films. My Last Cape Wrath trip was filmed all on a Gopro even though I had brought my Sony camera as it is just easier and quicker at times to film with. Atb
Spectacular views Ray, but that looked a sore one in that weather. I'm trying to guess how many times you cursed on camera and then had to edit it out....😂😂 Great viewing as always mate.......atb Andy. 👍
You have no idea Andy ;) It had its moments and really did think I had got myself into something a bit dodgy to be honest. All good in the end though. Atb
Hello Ray! Came over here after discovering Murray's channel, Scotland's Mountains. This trip looked very strenuous indeed - 2018 heatwave was crazy, wasn't it? Well done for making it all the way round. Subscribing now, and I look forward to more :)
That looks a brilliant challenge and some stunning views. The weather took me back to my Arran trip and I could feel just how bleeding hot that was. What did you do for water at the summits or did you top up on the lower sections? I hope that rescue wasn't for yourself 🤣 Keep up the great work, Bryan.
There were a few ponds scattered about that I could use and a small stream coming off the 4th munro on way down so wasnt too bad. Must have went through about 10 litres easy and even though I had water and food the heat took its toll and was getting sore and muscles tired. The heli was looking for somebody (found ok) just as I got back to Sheneval bothy as I was heading back to the car. Had to stop and wait for it to take off as it was on path in front of me. Atb
@@RS.Outdoors Sounds like it really was an adventure. Yeah, that heat. It caused me to change my Arran trip to go in search of water but a great life lesson. I'll need to check out that bothy as I've literally just came back today from my first ever stay in one, I decided to go and see what the crack was. Again, great video and from reading the comments it looks like this is a challenge I want to tackle one day. Keep up the great work 👍🏻
Loved that video Ray I’ve watched all yours and that’s my favourite, maybe I just like seeing people suffer😂 what weight was in your bag? I’ve started wild-camping but struggle to climb to far with the weight in my bag with camera gear etc. Great vid and looking forward to your next one👌
👋👋🖐Be kind and SUBSCRIBE! It would make my DAY!!!❤❤💙
Great film again Ray. 👍🏻
Many thanks Terry, Atb

Thanks Teddy and much appreciated. Atb
Inspiring Ray. Regards
Thanks Barrie. Atb
Great stuff Ray. I felt so guilty watching it I had to put down my ice cold bottle of Magners !
Ha,ha. Thats the kind of drink i was thinking about when walking round. That constant " I could murder an ice cold pint." Atb

I wish I had your knees Ray, this was a great watch. Cheers. 🍺👍
Cheers Mike. My knees are starting to show the signs of wear and tear to be honest and not long until I need a bionic replacement :)
Stunning scenery Ray, never done them and looked amazing, as always your visuals are stunning.. Crivens ...very funny, good self control on the language ! Cheers A

Oh that's just canny! Just reading re-watching the first few minutes. Brave jump it looked like.
Many Thanks
Nice one mate, I'm looking at doing this shortly, can I ask what camera you use as I'm looking to get one also for my adventures
