Oh my word I’m going to be watching all of them Murray, thank you for the pointer I love long treks sometimes 8 used to get lost for a couple of weeks, I even got lost for a year once ! Best times of my life, and all my plans changed along the way as there is always that extra special place , with a lack of other people, that I just had to hang around in, I’m going to really enjoy those longer lingerings Murray, I hope you bought a bag full of scotch eggs ! 😂

Thanks Peter - glad you enjoyed this one - I wasn’t sure if it would be well received as it’s so long but wanted to put it out as the camp on the mountain top was so good :) got more wild camping videos to edit now (although they won’t be an hour long !)

Did a 60 miler round fisherfield and stayed in sheneval a few years back and I can honestly say it’s better than anything I’ve ever done. He’s not kidding when he says it’s a wilderness !

Been a subscriber to your channel for many years, Murray, and always look forward to your films, but I've never commented on one before (or anywhere else on YT as it happens). However... that has just blown me away. What an utterly stunning account of an epic trip. I re-live my hillwalking days largely through your videos nowadays as distance prevents me from spending much time in the Highlands and my knees aren't what they were. I skirted the edges of Fisherfield, did An Teallach of course, but found the remoteness and wildness of its heart just a bit too intimidating, so that has left me a bit awestruck! Thank you for the best hour I've spent in your company in a long time. As you might say... fan-TAST-ic!

Man what a fantastic hike! It's so beautiful it's hard to believe you're not in a movie or a dream. You are so lucky to live your life in Scotland. I'm an American of scottish ancestors , and very proud of my ancestry, and very envious of people living in Scotland, but I can at least go there in videos like this! Also after that trip my feet and back don't even hurt a bit (ha) Thank you for the long, wonderful, beautiful video!

Wow!! What a life well lived and stupendous dedication. My hero is Tom Weir and he,d doff his cap to you. I came off the side of dumgoyne hill & earls seat last year and it took 3 hours to get back thru Heather and bogmoss. Phew, so i know how you felt. No wonder the Romans built the Antonine wall.

Loved it, great film making. What great light and scenery for photography. I sometimes wonder what I've missed by moving to live in Australia when I was a young teenager. Here it's very dry, the landscape so old and worn down. Those Scottish peaks and valleys look awesome.

That was an incredible video. many thanks for taking the time to put that together. The scenery was breath-taking and the narration was spot on. I spent most of my youth coming from deepest Kent to Scotland for the mountains and it has made me get off my a*se and start doing it again! Have subscribed now and hooked! thanks again

I've watched a couple of your videos recently Murray, to find some sub-munro level climbs with fantastic scenery and they've not disappointed! In fact we're doing Ben Donich this weekend as an easy wee recovery hill (dodgy knee recently!) thanks to your video of the summit. But this one is on another level, it's completely stunning. The views out over the west coast from the top of Beinn Dearg Mor look absolutely breathtaking. Keep up the good work mate, really appreciate seeing these. Subscribed Today!
