  • Mike helps Serg (his brother in law) swap out his Ski-Doo MX-Z TNT shocks with a beauty set of KYB PRO 40s of off an X-RS. It definitely was not a quick job, and if you plan on doing the same, give yourself a few hours and a couple of beers and the job is done!

The sticker on back side with part number tells you left or right but doing the way you did was perfect way to know

Thanks Jason! Ya either way works but its easy to look at the position of the bump. Cheers, Jesse

Thanks Terry! We get permits in Quebec every year and ride there 3 to 4 times a season. Cheers, Jesse

Had hoped for a detailed install video. Same bolts, and hard ware used for and aft? Wrench sizes, tools needed and torque specs? The fast forward with random music is not very helpful….technical value is always helpful and likely why most people would click on this video. I have a 17mxz 850 with 8k need to either rebuild or replace my HPG shocks.

Thanks for the feedback. Everything is the same which is why I didn't show the details. Reuse all factory hardware. Very easy job. Mike

Typically you need to measure from eye to eye to know if they will fit. Cheers, Mike

Great sled , now it's even better . What did the shocks cost you ? Was thinking of doing the same to my 2019 Blizzard .

Mark - I striped the cheap throwaway shocks off my wife’s renegade sport and put Elka stage 4’s out front and X package KYB’s in the rear and it’s a whole new sled

Got them for $1800 for the set. Very reasonable and makes all the difference. Mike

I just installed kyb pro 40 clickers all the way around on my 17 tnt 850. Added some new springs and spacers. How did the 600 after?

Nice! The swap turned out great on the 600. My brother in law is still riding it! Cheers, Mike

There is a guy here on Ontario that often has a lot of them off used or wrecked sleds. Cheers, Mike
