  • Nate gives us advice and his ideal for what sled suspension should be. Tuning your pre load is important to get the most of your snowmobile shocks.

I messaged Ian at Monster with more details, im just look for opinions on the spring. Imo the spring seems like it has a lot of sag with just the sled weight before I get on it

I have a set of X2s on my Pro S trail sled, rear shock has a 200# spring on it, it has 6k mi on spring, the shocks have been rebuilt with in 5-800mi, my rear shock seems to have alot of sag, do u guys recommend a new 200# spring or do u have a 210# spring since I'm 10-15lb heavier ? I dont wanna add much more preload from where I'm at..roughly 3 1/4in

Can you give us some more details about what sled you are on? I am assuming an 850 switchback pro-s but I don't want to give you wrong info.
