@@YourBoyVonthere same but look at difference between Hulk as a character in the incredible Hulk movie and today mcu Hulk he was good in 1 avengers movie and age of Ultron too.
Same. I loved the 2003 Hulk. I know a bunch of people didn't like it, but I never looked at it like it was superhero film. I looked at it like it was a character drama because that's what it was. A man who has a bunch of repressed trauma and abuse and he still has nightmares about his childhood. When he becomes the Hulk, it's the inner child in him lashing out. But when he's finally alone and at peace, the Hulk likes to look at flowers. It's a very underrated film. I found it to be extremely moving.
Zactly. If he was a baby in the Incredible Hulk, then he was a child being acknowledged by an adult. Cap made him happy. And I always figured the Always Angry thing was part of Banner having a tighter control on the Hulk psychologically. If he's a child, then Banner learned how to reason with him, but he can't predict temper tantrums. And finally, they Should have had Thanos at least need to relay on the Power Stone AND his wits to beat Hulk.
It’s so annoying how they SAY he’s strong and scary and all this stuff but when it comes to his fighting scenes it’s like, where is that? Bruce is always afraid of bringing him out bc of how destructive he is, but if literally like 3 people on his team can either win in a fight against him or calm him down there’s no pointtttttt I HATE when movies tell and not show
@@nkemnoraulmanfredini7286 yea he’s powerful, and breaks things, destroys things, but just like how WRMZ, says in this video, it’s underwhelming when you have so many people who can defeat him ykwim? I agree with you. I remember watching both 2003 and 2008 Hulk. I was so terrified of them. Granted, I only saw one scene of 2003 Hulk attacking a guy and basically leaving him for dead, but it was enough to scar me for some time. 2008 Hulk is the one film that will always terrify me in terms of the Hulk. How they ruined such a perfectly terrifying hero, I will never know..😔
You know what the worst part of all this is? It's that this problem will never get solved. With the Russo brothers and Stephen McFeely coming back to write and direct Avengers Doomsday and Secret Wars, it means we're never going to see the real Hulk again because why would they try to fix the Hulk now? So, either Doctor Doom effortlessly defeats either Hulk, Thor or Captain Marvel after he wipes out the Kang variants, those characters will just be trash for the remainder of the saga.
I wish they had Hulk beating up Thanos to the point Thanos used the Space Stone to teleport Hulk to outer space to Earth. Having Thanos outsmart Hulk instead of overpowering would been way better. I’m not saying Hulk is undefeatable, it’s just when it comes to Brute Strength and Physical Combat, it completely loses Hulk’s Concept of “Strongest There Is”.
@@Juggernaut49859oh yeah And he finna get row dogged by hulk if it wasn't for plot armor 😂😂😂 Like bruh if he wasn't the main villain the story would've ended waaaaaaay sooner
The timing of this video is impeccable, I was literally going back and rewatching the 2003 and 2008 Hulk movies and am even going as far back as the 60s/70s Bill Bixby Hulk TV Series to watch a couple episodes. Going through the movies, I reminded myself of just how badly Marvel fumbled the bag with Hulk in the MCU. Can’t say it’s all their fault because of all the rights issues that were pertaining to Hulk’s character, but they definitely didn’t even really try hard enough to give us a great Hulk. They even went so far as to take one of his most well-known and important comics and watered it down to a completely unrecognizable comedy film. The sad part of it all is that it’s too late to even attempt to do anything with his character or give him another solo movie because all his “story arcs” have all been done in other films. The only hope we have is if they follow through with their reboot after Secret Wars and we get new actors and new stories, hopefully we get the chance to have a better represented Hulk on the big screen.
Bruce is always angry and when he loses CONTROL over that anger than he turns into the hulk. When you’re mad enough to fight someone you still can choose to control yourself and not get into a fight or lose control and get into a fight.
They haven't had distribution rights to hulk movies for a while, so they couldn't make solo hulk films without Universal, only able to have him in avengers or other character films. They got the rights back somewhat recently, so they can make more if they want
Imagine if instead of getting green Mark Ruffulo in End Game, we got the gray Hulk. He’s still a smart Hulk, but now instead of a raging monster, you get a cold, malicious, near anti-villain of a Hulk.
Hulk is more than that tho, look at any of his previous material and you'll immediately change your mind. The MCU hulk is a dumb toddler, but not who Hulk should be as a character
There's one caveat to Hulk being a toddler in Marvel Comics. Bruce Banner was a genius level intellect as a toddler. Making Hulk smarter than the average toddler in Marvel Comics.
Sony doesn’t own hulk movie rights, universal does, but it ain’t like universal does shit with it, they could easily make a movie but they decide not to, marvel is only allowed to use him in cameos that’s why we haven’t gotten a sequel, I think if we got a trilogy people would be ok with Professor hulk. Basically I’d say universal just give up the hulk and Namor movies right if you ain’t gonna do anything with them
@@kaeaedwin7937 Yeah I agree with u bro, probably why the mcu doesnt care about the hulk, they dont have the rights. How does it work, cant they buy the rights or something?
@@spacepirate8355 aight so basically Universal owns the MOVIE rights to hulk and Namor franchise (this happened because marvel was going bankrupt so they would sell their movie licenses to movie companies. Now from what’s been said Marvel is allow to borrow hulk in other projects that aren’t hulk focused movies, so they can have hulk in avengers, Ironman, Thor and etc. but weren’t allowed to make a solo hulk film unless under the conditions that whatever money a hulk movie would make universal will get most of the profits. So when they made Incredible Hulk, even tho marvel made it, majority of profits would go to universal. So the reason we don’t have a hulk sequel or another hulk film is because neither side wants the other to more money off em, so Disney doesn’t want universal to have majority of the profit if they made one and universal doesn’t wanna let go of rights because they know how lucrative the hulk franchise can be so they’ve just been at a stalemate since 2008
Bruce being always angry is where 2008 hulk movie left off, he integrates his anger rather then suppress it and letting it bottled up turning him into hulk. his transition between him and hulk is so seamless in New York cuz he tamed anger/hulk. Which leaves the audience the question if hulk Bruce are the same person or not. he couldn’t tame Hulk earlier in the film cuz Loki.
You spoke facts, WRMZ. The Hulk has been absolute trash since Age Of Ultron and I still don't know why Joss Wheadon made Black Widow and Hulk lovers when those two characters have nothing in common. Black Widow is all about stealth and guile, Hulk is a 7'0 green rage monster who screams "Hulk smash" at the top of his lungs, I don't know how Joss Wheadon got the idea to cook up a scenario where Black Widow could end up with the Hulk when she flirted with Captain America in The Winter Solider.
Since no one wants to point out the problems with this video I guess I have to. problem 1 iron Man beating the hulk in Age of Ultron makes perfect sense in the movie. because hulk was winning the entire time. the only reason he lost in end is because the mind control he was under ended. which made him calm down and see all the damage he caused. and since iron Man didn't know his mind control ended and the hulk was going to transform back to Bruce banner in a minute. he snuck attack the hulk when he wasn't paying attention which knocked him out. Problem number 2 the hulk attacking Black widow and Thor in the middle of the movie. but following Captain America's orders at the end makes perfect sense if you've actually seen the movie. because the reason why the hulk was out of control in the middle of the movie was because everybody's emotions was out of control on The shield helicarrier due to the mind Stone making everyone angry. that was literally Loki's plan. his plan was for everyone to anger Bruce banner make the hulk transform and go out of control due to the mind Stone. and that would bring down shield and the avengers for him so that makes perfect sense. as for the reason why he followed Captain America's orders it's because literally his only orders was for the hulk to smash which is what he always does. also because the hulk takes orders from The avengers all the time in the comics and TV shows
As for the third and final problem with this video. Bruce banner saying he's always angry makes perfect sense because it's literally factually true. weather in the comics. TV shows. or movies. Because he was abused and hated ever since he was born by his father who thought he was a monster. his mother was killed by his father for defending Bruce. he was bullied in school because he was smarter than everyone which made everyone jealous and because he was antisocial due to being abused and hated all his life. and that's only a tiny piece of how horrible his life is so yes Bruce banner is always angry. the reason why he doesn't transform all the time is because he's surprising his anger. but yes he could transform anytime he wants to. he just has to think about how his father beat his mother to death. anybody who knows the hulk would know this that's why I was incredibly disappointed by this video. because it was an incredibly easy video to make. all you had to do was talk about how the MCU ruined the hulk after infinity war. instead you said things in this video that makes me think you might not have even seen the older MCU movies more than one time a decade ago
I guess if the MCU is going to keep the Hulk as a joke, then Red Hulk will be the stand in for what the Hulk used to be. Since Red Hulk is already the main antagonist in Brave New World, however he's defeated he won't really go away since Ross is the President now and will probably still be featured in the Thunderbolts. So since Red Hulk will still have a menacing presence, perhaps he'll just carry the vibe that the real Hulk did back in 2008. If this is done right, I supposed this could be a "salvageable replacement."
@ItsWRMZ 🤦♂️ The "I'm always angry" line is just something that's supposed to sound cool and isn't meant to be taken literally. Hulk listened to Cap because he hadn't attacked Hulk and because what he told Hulk to do is "smash", which Hulk loves to do. Remember, he did punch Thor later on during the Battle of New York because he remembered that Thor attacked him on the Helicarrier. Black Widow presumably calmed down the Hulk because they had no way of knowing how long it would take for him to revert back to Bruce Banner after their battle against those Hydra members, and they didn't want to have to worry about him potentially causing damage to the quinjet that the Avengers use when they would go to leave & return to Avengers Tower(AKA Stark Tower). Hulk actually did pretty well against the Hulkbuster Armor for most of his fight with Iron Man. The only reason that he didn't win the fight is because he got distracted when he realized what he had done after he got snapped out of whatever hallucinations he was having that Wanda Maximoff caused him to have, which gave Tony the opportunity to knock Hulk unconscious. Hulk tends to revert back to Bruce when he gets knocked unconscious, so that's presumably what happened after Tony knocked out the Hulk. Before 'The Avengers 3: Infinity War', everything was good when it came to the Hulk in the MCU franchise.
Personally I think Ironman just got a lucky hit in with Hulk. I found that movie to be goated but I can see your point. Hopefully Marvel say that this is just Banner's personality weakening the Hulk and one day show World Breaker Hulk.
Lmao a lot of ppl in these comments don’t really know the hulk they think he supposed to just be angry and smash everything when it more complex than tht many times in the comic hulk hates causing destruction for no reason
Thor Ragnarok thankfully broke me out of my love for the MCU before the worst realized. I've wondered how movie audiences easily were bought into Thor regressing into an exponentially more immature person with age. How does that even occur when his parents are both "gods" of wisdom? From the first SDCC logo teaser, I imagined the entirety of Thor Ragnarok as an incredible Lord of the Rings/Pirates of the Caribbean scale movie where Thor Ragnarok's plot was the wisest Thor traveling all nine realms (maybe eight realms to keep Avengers Infinity War intact) showing why he's fit for being the king of Asgard / nine realms as they're self-destructing under Loki's official but foolish rule. Loki eventually sides with Thor after his daughter and son (Hela & Fenris) start causing more problems than he can handle. In this "Once and future king" kind of story Thor begins making his way back to Asgard joined by an army (collecting exiles, pilgrims, wanderers, and innocent survivors of war) formed through each realm after his hammer is broken. Rather than Hulk conveniently and for unexplained reasons flying to Sakaar somehow, Loki used his position to get revenge on Hulk and send him somewhere horrible in the nine realms where he meets Valkyrie. Who also was banished but by Odin prior to the events of Thor 2011. I've always imagined Balder the Brave died before the first Thor movie and that there was some teenage drama around his murder by Loki between Thor, Loki, Amora the Enchantress/Lorelei, Sif, the Warriors Three, Karnilla, and who knows maybe even Skurge the Executioner. Thor would send Hulk and Valkyrie through the Bifrost bound for Doctor Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum while Loki escapes using the Tesseract. Loki hides on Thor Girl's planet (as Beta Ray Bill appeared in Thor Ragnarok) which Thanos invades around the time Thor tracks him down. I didn't even know how Thor Ragnarok would end similarly I just wanted to set up Thor Girl, whose planet was saved by Thor from Thanos. I expected Nova to be the one who heroically fights Thanos but is beat up in Infinity War's opening act. Returning to Earth and warning Tony Stark Annihilation style. I miss 2016-2017. Thor Ragnarok was my most anticipated Marvel movie. In retrospect maybe Taika Waititi was better for a Nova prequel movie released in-between Avengers Infinity War and Endgame. A Guardians of the Galaxy 2.5 of sorts.
Don't think anything could beat that moment where Black Widow says "I swear on my life." and that was what guaranteed Hulk's appearance. Bruce Banner being constantly irritated, but contained, was a nice way of showing how much control he had gained since the Incredible Hulk Movie. And him snapping at Natasha was really because it was the second time she lied to him. The first being in that shack and he scares her. It wasn't just a prank, but a way of explaining just how dangerous the Hulk was. And how she had no idea.

Imagine if the Hulk personality trapped in the back seat of Bruce's mind breaks out he will be more pissed then he's ever been that could possibly be a new version of world war Hulk
You hit the nail on the head in every aspect of the Hulk in the MCU. He's not the Hulk, he's the Julk (Joke)..... I hate how Hulk has been handled and he's been very misused in the MCU and I really wish someone somewhere would make us a proper Hulk movie outside of the MCU.
You’re acting like Iron Man is just a citizen. Not only is he one of the smartest people on Earth, he also worked on the Hulkbuster to counteract specifically the Hulk. Which is why he doesn’t use it anywhere else. Also Bruce helped him.
Exactly!, he is just downplaying iron man, Hulk loosing to iron man isn't an antifeat for hulk as mcu iron man is pretty strong too he made thanos bleed, took power stone attacks and can channel thor's lightning and resist all 6 infinity stones energies momentarily, Iron man is one of the strongest guys in marvel comics too with his godbuster, thorbuster and celestial armors he can possibly beat even comic hulk in my opinion with those armors.
Agreed 100%. Even though I love Age of Ultron, both Hulk’s & Banner’s characterizations were destroyed starting with that movie 😭 I just hope when the MCU soft reboots after Secret Wars that they’ll get some much needed redemption.
Only point where I will disagree with you is “if Iron-Man can beat the Hulk in a fight, he’s stronger” I’ve seen enough anime to know that: Wining a fight against someone =/= being stronger than someone
4:40 Exactly. Much as I love Hulk, him being used *very* sparingly in the films would've been the best way to establish his raw power. He would've been kinda like Thanos. The looming danger of him is what builds the fear and hype around him. You don't know when he'll come, you don't even know if he WILL. You just know he *could* . And that thought alone is terrifying enough. That right there is the Hulk presence I want. The lack of Hulk presence would give him a strong presence to the audience, if that makes any sense. It would've made the moments he was unleashed much more impactful. To let you know shit got real. I think Hulk is a character you build *around* , not ontop of. That's not to say Hulk can't change, it's moreso that his change can't be tied to only when we see him. And no, I don't mean offscreen, ew. It's such a damn shame Universal has the rights to him. Those rights that they're doing fuck all with. I've been into the Hulk ever since I was a kid. Ironically enough though, the MCU was how I was introduced to the character. After Avengers, I was a Hulkomaniac. He was my favorite Avenger, and when I talk about him like this and think about the depth and potential depth of him, he still is. In the MCU he's one of the least interesting characters when he honestly should be one of the most. In recent years I've sorta forgotten about the poor fella. With the way he was treated in the MCU, my hype and passion for him died off slowly. I was still hype whenever he showed up, but those moments became fewer and fewer. I was excited in Ragnarok about his bout with Thor, but honestly his entrance is better than the fight. The buildup is intense and cool, you see puffs of green gas throughout the audience, they're cheering loud as hell as he breaks through the wall. It's genuinely awesome, I've never related more to a fictional audience in my life. The fight was alright and the Loki callback was fun, but the buildup and initial entrance was so much better by comparison. Then came Infinity War. Seeing Hulk get clapped so easily hurt. A lot. But I expected that to setup an eventual rematch and redemption. I was alright with the whole Hulk being disobedient. At the time I saw this as a crazy amount of setup for the King's return. Then Professor Hulk happened and my interest in him flatlined. I'm gonna be honest with you. I'm desperate. Desperate as hell. I am so fucking desperate for SOMETHING to reinvigorate my love for Hulk. Marvel's Avengers was a flicker of hope. Then I saw the shit talk and bad reviews on it. And *even then* I was so desperate that I STILL played the game just because I wanted to play as Hulk so badly, even if it sucked. I'm dry. The kid in me who loved Hulk so much that he bought and wore the absolute hell outta the Hulk hands has been dry for years and it really hurts. Genuinely. I'm just so angry and sad that it feels like no one cares about him anymore. I know that's not true, but man does it feel like it sometimes. And this is coming from a guy who has never touched a comic book in his entire life. Literally, the Avengers movies and Incredible Hulk (2008) are all that have been fueling this insane love for this character. No matter how wrong they do him, I can never stop loving this character. And god, I can't even begin to imagine how horrible it is for Hulk fans who've been fans longer than I have, consumed so much more Hulk media than I have. Ugh. This just feels bad. They deserve better. Hulk and Bruce deserve better.
To quote Stan Lee " the madder he gets , the stronger he gets" MCU "what?" Also notice how the first movies are more grounded like Iron Man 1, Hulk 2008, Captan America 1 even Thor 1 but later on they get to laught at a pull my finger joke

Plus, you're probably the only content creator I've come across that's actually called out Ragnarok for being a dumb jokey cartoon of a movie, I've been saying that for years lol!! Fantastic work, bro! I've subbed and will now binge some more of your content 👍😊
Also Disney has been trying for years to demasculinize its male characters especially hulk. Notice he’s literally been getting smaller as each movie comes out and now he is completely useless and tells jokes or is the butt of a joke
What really bothers me, is that they already used up elements from Worldbreaker Hulk. One of the best comic books stories, DC or Marvel. So, even if we get to a place where we can get the X-Men and the Illuminati and the Inhumans in one movie they cant do Worldbreaker cause they wasted it on Ragnorok. That shit pisses me off.
Not even the way he got effortlessly packed up but they make him look like a coward since IF and made a MASSIVE character development offscreen and not even a rematch they disrespected my boy
The thing is that they don’t give Hulk orders, they tell Hulk to do something he was pretty much gonna do anyway with the only limit being “only smash the bad guys”. Sure, overtime the Hulk comes around and identifies the avengers as his teammates, and later on, Captain America as the leader. But even then, they aren’t really ordering him around. They’re just telling him to do something he was gonna do anyway. It’s less like giving orders and more like hyping him up.
My only own explanation is that he calmed down with havint friends, Natasha and a purpose. He lost his endless anger as he became happy and accepted himself. Thus, the rage became weaker do now he cannot even Hulk out (seen in Endgame when they travel back to NY).
I can’t believe that they fumbled my boy it shouldn’t have even been THAT hard to write him just look at avengers mightiest hero’s if you really want him to be a team player and all that
The only way I can like the hulk again is if Dr. Strange accidentally teleport another Green Hulk variant that lives up to the true embodiment of the hulk
I wouldn't say he lost his fight to Ironman in AoU. He was destroying Tony's Hulkbuster suit, and in turn was destroying the city. Once he noticed the destruction he was causing, he considerably calmed down, and Tony snuck him. That's the same as claiming Goku lost to Majin Vegeta because he turned his back and got sucker punched.
MCU has Hulk at 8'2" and Korg at 7'7". Yet in Endgame when Hulk went to get Thor in New Asgard, Korg towered over Hulk. Also, Thanos is listed at 8'3". In the comics he's only 6'7".

Hey you! The guy in the video! Lemme just say that putting the Hulk and Black Widow in a relationship wasn’t a bad decision. It was a good decision that wasn’t handled well and Betty’s old news.
Edward Norton will forever be my hulk since his varient of the character was dark and emotional and scary. What i loved about the movie is that he paid homage to bill bixby's version of the character and adding references from the tv series and felt like if he was actually him from the show and his trauma. Mark Ruffalo was ultimately promising in the first avengers and avengers age of ultron with his take on hulk. But after seeing what he became in Ragnorok, i lost all respect and hope for the mcu for what it did to the hulk character. Hulk went from "HULK.......SMASH!" (2008) to being a meme made by kevin feige 😔
7:59 he accepts that he is angry but doesn’t let it effect him physically. On the Helicarrier, he was injured so the Hulk came out under the impression he was being attacked. Bruce is better controlling his anger but can’t always stop the physical trigger to the transformation under extreme physical duress.
I agree with you. They nerved him cause he’s too op and will make others in the mcu look like garbage. Other than that, hulk would have murdered thanos. Every time you hit hulk,he gets angry and the more angrier he gets, the more stronger he gets. Plus he heals himself too.
They should've given him a rematch with Thanos just have him serve Captain Marvel's role in the final battle. By making him green Bruce, they took away what made him interesting. His forever curse as the Hulk. Even with Professor Hulk they could've had Hulk be tired of Bruce being in charge and he wants out. Throughout the film have Bruce struggle with keeping Hulk inside. Then he just lets go by the end.
I get why people and comic book fans miss the OG Hulk but i have to say professor hulk gets no respect for saving the universe, just like Ant man doesn't get the respect he deserves in Quantumania.
as a kid I loved the hulk and as he was this badass monster who when he got hurt and beat in a fight simply became angrier and more violent making him a feared beast not some random c-tier hero whos power is just being kinda strong he was unstoppable it was main question of the film whether or not he even could be beat
It’s bad enough Hulk can’t even have his own villains anymore. Bi-Beast is a Thor villain, Abomination is a Shang Chi villain, Leader & Red Hulk are Captain America villains, what next? The U-Foes become Fantastic Four villains? Okay, I get that the U-Foes are evil versions of the Fantastic Four, but those guys have been Hulk villains since their debut & what happened to Betty after the 2008 movie?
Despite all the good points you make, I have to disagree on one thing. Your statements about how it’s embarrassing the Hulk lost to the Hulkbuster. The Hulkbuster isn’t just some buff suit of armor. It’s a suit of armor Tony Stark made with the sole and only purpose of being a countermeasure for if the Hulk were to go rogue, it’s a suit of armor specifically designed to deal with Hulk created by one of if not the smartest person alive. Not to mention, during that entire fight, Iron Man was pretty much getting his ass handed to him. Meanwhile, the Hulk was not slowing down or getting tired in the slightest Iron Man with constantly having to call in repairs and replacements for pieces of his armor. While the worst the Hulk had was simply losing a tooth, and that only made him more mad. It took an endless amount of beatings and having an entire building, dropped on him to even knock him out and being able to knock the Hulk unconscious would be considered an extraordinary feat.
@@Ricky-hl2iz Comparing superheroes from comics to their movie counterparts in terms of power is really unfair because the comic versions tend to either be utterly pitiful or the most broken character ever conceived. For example. MCU Drax is, physically, an absolute unit. Capable of flipping over police cars with next to no effort. While he’s super strong, he’s not invincible. We see a guy pull out a massive laser canon and it still hurts him. But this attack would make incinerate most people. It only knocks Drax back a bit. He gets hit by it a few more times and all it does is bring him to his knees. And even then, we see he’s completely fine after they leave the Orgocorp building and is given some time to rest. Comic book Drax is literally capable of destroying whole solar systems with no effort whatsoever.
@@theparrishshow9803true, because if you are taking comic hulk then take comic iron man's strongest armors too like godbuster, hard light armor and celestial armor, within the context of mcu hulkbuster vs hulk made sense.

Even with the Universal Studios has the Rights Excuse, I won’t forget Marvel Studios for what they did to the Hulk and Ruffalo ruined it as Well as the Russo Brothers did that Hulk should be Recasted
5:14 I think Endgame should be better than Infinity war for these reasons: First the story is a bit more engaging and the power scales are a lot more balanced in Endgame (especially when you consider the hulk vs thanos fight). But I will agree, Endgames treatment of hulk in both these movies made less engaged with banners character
Mark Ruffalo did a good job as the banner but it's as if Edward Norton stayed. The Hulk would be one of the most powerful characters in the MCU because Norton understood how the Hulk should work
The thing about The Hulkbuster Iron Man is that, it's not really stronger than The Hulk. It has a sedative function built into its fists meant to put the Hulk to sleep, and even with that, shown in the movie, Tony was still having a hard time. He wasn't "winning" in the traditional sense. His win condition is putting The Hulk to sleep.

I agree with the overall point of this video for sure, but a few things: 1. Hulk lost to Hulkbuster, which was designed by both Bruce Banner and Iron Man, so its more accurate to say that he lost to that team-up and not just 'iron man'. Also I wouldn't say he flat out lost, he got distracted and sucker punched at the end. 2. Hulk fighting the wold in Ragnarok did have impact, the whole point was to save the civilians. In truth I was mostly okay with how the MCU treated the Hulk until Endgame. I'm even completely okay with him losing to Thanos but the issue was that he never bounced back from that and got to redeem himself. They could have had Bruce and Hulk team up and bust out of the hulkbuster in Infinity War and they just skipped over it. It was a very gradual progression into him being a bad character as opposed to it happening all at once, because it was at least salvageable until Endgame, in my opinion.
I was so disgusted by She-Hulk basically saying that Hulk doesn’t know what pain is.
Bruce literally tried to off himself.

Hulk was acknowledged as Hulk not Banner by Captain America, so it might explain why he was on board for the Avengers battle.

WRMZ is genuinely becoming one of my favourite Lore to Character Debunkers because he's EXPOSING these Disney writers😂😂😂😂.
Bruce is always angry and when he loses CONTROL over that anger than he turns into the hulk. When you’re mad enough to fight someone you still can choose to control yourself and not get into a fight or lose control and get into a fight.
The ending of the Incredible Hulk shows Banner learning how to turn into the Hulk by will by his eyes glowing green and him smiling.
i think Marvel don't have the rights to the Hulk
Probably
Universal own him I’m pretty sure
afaik they got the rights to Hulk back from Universal somewhat recently
They haven't had distribution rights to hulk movies for a while, so they couldn't make solo hulk films without Universal, only able to have him in avengers or other character films. They got the rights back somewhat recently, so they can make more if they want
Imagine if instead of getting green Mark Ruffulo in End Game, we got the gray Hulk. He’s still a smart Hulk, but now instead of a raging monster, you get a cold, malicious, near anti-villain of a Hulk.
hulk is like a toddler he’ll listen some times but he also throws a tantrum some times
Making Hulk smarter than the average toddler in Marvel Comics.
for f sake marvel, just make an R rated Hulk movie already, or let sony do it. Stop neutering ma boy, come on man.

4:40 - This is 100% correct if Iron Man can beat him then he deserves no place on the Avengers being the "muscle" when Iron Man already does that.
You SMOKED the nail on the head on this one
8:29 "Hulk is by far the strongest avenger" while the avenger that can rival him is on screen
Nah the Hulk is the strongest
The Hulk is stronger than Thor. Thor is just better at aiming his powers and has better technique.
@ItsWRMZ
🤦♂️ The "I'm always angry" line is just something that's supposed to sound cool and isn't meant to be taken literally.
Not only that but hulk got blasted with gas in the fight, not to mention the Bruce helped build the hulkbuster.
Personally I think Ironman just got a lucky hit in with Hulk. I found that movie to be goated but I can see your point. Hopefully Marvel say that this is just Banner's personality weakening the Hulk and one day show World Breaker Hulk.
And for Infinity War, Thanos did have the Power stone, so maybe not too much of a beat down.
Thanos was cheating.

In defense of Iron Man beating Hulk, Bruce did say that he helped design Veronica just incase something like that ever happened
Bruce also helped Tony design the hulk buster in the comics, however when hulk got a hold of the suit he wrecked it to shreds
I hope they use the multiverse to bring back a respectable hulk in into the MCU. (And hopefully fight red hulk)

Exactly!, he is just downplaying iron man, Hulk loosing to iron man isn't an antifeat for hulk as mcu iron man is pretty strong too he made thanos bleed, took power stone attacks and can channel thor's lightning and resist all 6 infinity stones energies momentarily,
Iron man is one of the strongest guys in marvel comics too with his godbuster, thorbuster and celestial armors he can possibly beat even comic hulk in my opinion with those armors.
Agreed 100%. Even though I love Age of Ultron, both Hulk’s & Banner’s characterizations were destroyed starting with that movie 😭
I just hope when the MCU soft reboots after Secret Wars that they’ll get some much needed redemption.
The problem is they ignored the character and gave the actor a role
Only point where I will disagree with you is “if Iron-Man can beat the Hulk in a fight, he’s stronger”
I’ve seen enough anime to know that:
Wining a fight against someone =/= being stronger than someone
Crazy the hulk was my favorite superhero back when I was a kid then got turned off cause of the mcu
4:40
Exactly.

Actually they are desperate enough to bring back Uber antagonist Hulk to fight Wolverine
You are talking straight facts about MCU Hulk they have absolutely failed him. 1:43 I absolutely miss 2008 version of Hulk 3000
My only own explanation is that he calmed down with havint friends, Natasha and a purpose. He lost his endless anger as he became happy and accepted himself.

Finally someone that agrees! 2008 Hulk was peak hulk for the MCU. I’ve never met anyone else that thinks that
I wouldn't say he lost his fight to Ironman in AoU. He was destroying Tony's Hulkbuster suit, and in turn was destroying the city. Once he noticed the destruction he was causing, he considerably calmed down, and Tony snuck him. That's the same as claiming Goku lost to Majin Vegeta because he turned his back and got sucker punched.

Bruce is better controlling his anger but can’t always stop the physical trigger to the transformation under extreme physical duress.
I am so tired of explaining this..
I agree with you. They nerved him cause he’s too op and will make others in the mcu look like garbage. Other than that, hulk would have murdered thanos. Every time you hit hulk,he gets angry and the more angrier he gets, the more stronger he gets. Plus he heals himself too.
Hulk in comics can shit on both iron man and captain marvel any second
0:26 personally, for one of them they did a good job with. that other one i still refer to as Spider-Boy
Bro that ending made me laugh my ass off 😂😂😂 holy shit 😂😂 “hulk outtt!”
“BRUCE!!!”
I heard professor hulk was actually pretty cool in the comics. I wish they adapted him better instead of just making him banner in hulk's skin
"I'm always angry" is just a cold line. You don't need to take it so seriously
To Banner's credit, he did help in constructing an Infinity Gauntlet.
bro his the nail on the head with this one
I get why people and comic book fans miss the OG Hulk but i have to say professor hulk gets no respect for saving the universe, just like Ant man doesn't get the respect he deserves in Quantumania.
as a kid I loved the hulk and as he was this badass monster who when he got hurt and beat in a fight simply became angrier and more violent making him a feared beast not some random c-tier hero whos power is just being kinda strong he was unstoppable it was main question of the film whether or not he even could be beat
I miss hulk of 2008 please come back Edward Norton was and still the best hulk of all and forever
There is two or three people i want to blame in the mess of Hulk character
1. Universal
2. Feige and the Studio
3. F***in Russo Brother
Atleast we have Zimuat Animations Hulk
It’s so funny to me Hulk is one of the few avengers to NOT have a solo movie post-2014
They tried the brutal monster Hulk in 2008 and no one liked it
Despite all the good points you make, I have to disagree on one thing.
If we’re comparing to other versions of the hulk in the comics the Devil Hulk from the Immortal Hulk comic ripped apart the Hulkbuster like nothing

Comparing superheroes from comics to their movie counterparts in terms of power is really unfair because the comic versions tend to either be utterly pitiful or the most broken character ever conceived.
Hulkbuster Armour never won a fight with the Hulk in Comics!!
Movie makers should remain true to thir source material
This is so real tho 😭 they did my boy dirty they just need to reset the hulk 😭 I feel like that’s what there gonna go for in the new captain America movie with the red hulk. I just want a good hulk movie
Even with the Universal Studios has the Rights Excuse, I won’t forget Marvel Studios for what they did to the Hulk and Ruffalo ruined it as Well as the Russo Brothers did that Hulk should be Recasted
5:14 I think Endgame should be better than Infinity war for these reasons:
First the story is a bit more engaging and the power scales are a lot more balanced in Endgame (especially when you consider the hulk vs thanos fight). But I will agree, Endgames treatment of hulk in both these movies made less engaged with banners character
Mark Ruffalo did a good job as the banner but it's as if Edward Norton stayed. The Hulk would be one of the most powerful characters in the MCU because Norton understood how the Hulk should work
What he means by "always angry" is that he can turn into hulk on command. If you paued attention to the end of the 2008 hulk, youd see that.
We need an immoral Hulk comic book run. Turns Hulk back into a monster
WRMZ POST LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The thing about The Hulkbuster Iron Man is that, it's not really stronger than The Hulk. It has a sedative function built into its fists meant to put the Hulk to sleep, and even with that, shown in the movie, Tony was still having a hard time. He wasn't "winning" in the traditional sense. His win condition is putting The Hulk to sleep.
Thats why for me people OVERRATED the Age of Ultron movie, it was Mid to me but the Main villian was good
Lies' age of ultron was solid
@@YourBoyVon "Copium", You specific Marvel fans are the reason shitty writing is tolerated and why Disney Studios make crappy movies knowing ya'll will it whatever shit they give out to ya'll.
@denzelrobert your simpleton that why you don't understand the gem they with age of ultron
@SolidBrokeMan Alright, "SoLid BrOkeN mAn", enjoy your Marvel Cinematic Univers whilst shows like the Assolyte and Agatha Trashness get dished out for you🤣😂😂😂
@denzelrobert not even star-war Fan, I don't shit about that show
I agree with the overall point of this video for sure, but a few things:
R.I.P to my boy 😭😭
