You got something wrong in this video. Universal only owns the distribution rights to Hulk movies. Disney could make a hulk movie if they were willing to share profits with Universal
Disney has long had issues with sharing profits with others since the 80s. Who Framed Roger Rabbit pretty much killed Disney's relationship with sharing anything. They want it all to themselves at all costs.
@@googlelord1678 No. She's nothing like the original hulk and will never be the real hulk. She's a side character that is just pumped out to make more $$ so just no.
@mxrcuriee comic relief is fine but it got to the point where everyone was comic relief. The series just lost it's seriousness as it went on. Not everything has to be funny lol.
As much as I love Infinity War, them not having Hulk break out of the Hulkbuster suit was a hugely missed opportunity. Then we got boring Hulk in Endgame. Which pretty much cemented the degradation of this great character.
@@JcgLounge I didn’t mind his absence during Infinity War, however what I still haven’t forgiven is the missed opportunity of him turning back into original Hulk after using the Infinity Gauntlet in Endgame. If it was really gamma running that thing, the energy should’ve transformed him BACK into angry Hulk and prevent the Avengers facility from crashing on the others. Then he and Thanos could have had a proper rematch, but with an even STRONGER Hulk. That would’ve been epic.
There's gotta be a reason why they barely touched the character of hulk. They really added so much on how all the other avengers feel, their story development, and how much they played a part into the final conclusion. While Bruce was just some comedic relief
It's a rights issue, as mentioned at the beginning of the film. Disney doesn't completely control the Hulk character, so they basically don't care about him. Similar to Marvel killing Fantastic Four because they don't control the film rights.
@@tmac731 No, Marvel Comics killed the Fantastic 4 comic in 2015 after fifty years of continuous publication, because they didn't have the film rights and this would reduce any market for the characters. Marvel restarted the F4 comic in 2018 as they were officially regaining the film rights to Fantastic Four (and X-Men) a few months later when Disney's Fox deal went through.
Why do people keep saying this... Is there some secret marvel content that I'm missing? The only two people who have beaten Hulk are Iron Man in the Hulkbuster suit and Thanos. Who the hell are you guys referring to when you say "they turned him into a punching bag", I don't get it.
Norton’s Hulk was my absolute favorite. He truly felt like an unstoppable force of nature and actually scared me when I was a kid. Ruffalo did a decent job in Avengers and Ultron, but after that, his character was picked apart piece by piece until we were left with how he is now. Hulk deserves better
@@richieC1999 Hollywood is run like a cartel. Very strict editing and content rules for the big studios. The current regime dictates female power and racial diversity. Particularly a racial female as lead. Hence she hulk.
I feel like after Infinity War, the beginning of Endgame should have shown us a Bruce Banner who was completely rid of the Hulk. Show us how after loosing to Thanos, the Hulk just lost all confidence and Bruce took over. Bruce Banner, not the Hulk, carved out a new life for himself during the five year gap. He went back to being a scientist, made new discoveries, gained a new reputation that was separate from the Hulk’s. It would be interesting to see a Bruce Banner who after being abandoned by the Hulk in Infinity War (Banned: “Screw you, you big ugly bastard! I’ll do it myself!”) gained a new self confidence and felt that he could finally live his life without the Hulk. He does it himself, just like he told the Hulk he would. So when the Avengers ask for his help with time travel, it’s not them going to ask the Hulk, it’s them going to ask one of the world’s most renowned scientists. And Bruce then helps them as Dr. Banner, not as the Hulk. Again, seeing Bruce find purpose without the Hulk and use his intellect to help the Avengers. But all of this of course would help fuel the story of Banner still needing the Hulk. Because when all is said and done, ignoring the Hulk for five years just means that the Hulk has unresolved issues that all come back to the surface once 2014 Thanos shows up. And of course the new lesson that Bruce has to learn is to bring the Hulk back out. Because for everything that Bruce has accomplished without the Hulk, he’s still worthless in a fight. And to fight Thanos and prevent an even worse event than Infinity War, they need the other guy. And Bruce needs to figure out how to let go and release a Hulk that has five whole years of pent up rage to dish out to a Thanos who hasn’t fought him before. I just feel like it would be interesting to see a story that resolves both the Hulk, and Bruce Banner’s arcs instead of just Bruce Banner. Because they’ve always been two separate people. Bruce literally refers to the Hulk as “the other guy” in the first Avengers movie. So having a “smart Hulk” instead of having both Hulk and Banner, means that you’ve erased the Hulk from existence, which gives him no closure from his trauma that the Hulk, not Bruce, experiences in Infinity War. The story should have been about both of them, but now it’s only about Bruce Banner.
I absolutely agree. One change though - I think it'd be better if the moment he needed the Hulk wasn't for a fight, but rather specifically when they needed someone to perform the snap, given the Hulk's gamma-radiation resistance. It'd be interesting to see Bruce need the Hulk for a reason other than purely physical, and a great opportunity for a scene where Bruce would use all that anger and despair that he (they?) experienced over the last 5 years to actually motivate the Hulk to "come back out." It would be a key moment defining their newfound relationship based on each other's benefits (intelligence & strength), as opposed to their avoiding each other's weaknesses (fragility & volatility).
U nailed it with this comment big up. I was really pissed that MCU didn't allow the Hulk to get his revenge on Thanos or even be involved in that last fight with the other 3. I mean come on
Just rewatched the 2008 Ed Norton Hulk movie today and still feel it's severely underrated. Hulk, in the 2020's has become a punchline rather than something to be feared.
Looking back at the first Avengers movie and seeing where things have gotten to is like two different worlds. When rewatching the first Avengers movie I was astonished at how much I was enjoying it compared to what the MCU has become.
I'm genuinely impressed with the wit and personality in the first one. Definitely holds up as reasonably mature for an adult compared to everything else that came after.
Norton's banner was smarter and or atleast more cunning. timing his heart breathing, the way he used his surroundings to his advantage as a human and in hulk form. This new guy would not survive being hunted by the military in the 2008 movie in any way.
I agree. He felt different, even in the end when he saves the general and the daughter with the halk smash to blow out the fire. I love how you can see he was tired but the more mad he got the stronger he got. The new mcu halk is a joke to me, he’s for little kids.
I am one of the few people who did like Mark Ruffallo's portrayal of the character. He was close to his comic book version, and could have been the best had writers not been prone to humillating him after AoU.
Norton was more close I think. I never saw that rage and monster in MCU hulk, sure Bruce always says that hulk is a problem, and one time wanda showed that, but he never really was. He never was "Strongest Avengers", on antovie he always gets beat up, and then he walk away. It got to the point he left earth, such a stupid move from Disney.
Cant anyone else see? Adult male marvel characters are either being forgotten about, overshadowed by random characters, or being neatured and turned into a joke. Thor, Hulk, Hawkeye, moon knight, strange, loki have all suffered this fate. And it happened to hulk the most because A strong, muscular, angry man is problematic in Hollywood's obsession with making male characters lame
Idk about Thor, Moon Knight, Dr. Strange, and Loki. I feel like Thor and Loki especially have been well served and are adored by fans. I don't think it is the "female hero's" fault that Hulk and Hawkeye got the short end of the stick either. I think Marvel just messed up and did them an injustice by yanking them out of the spotlight for no apparent reason. I saw Ms. Marvel and thought her character was fantastic. They don't need to make some characters look bad for other characters to look good. Unfortunately, they CHOSE to do that for Hulk, not with female characters but with every character Hulk loses to in a fight that he clearly should have won (or at least put up a better fight) like Thanos, etc.
@@bluepythonproductions bro thry are literal jokes now. Are you serious? Loki was just getting slapsticked, it doesnt matter if they are adored or not, its the fact that they are barely competent, and wayy to jokey

It's crazy when you think about it that aside from the 2008 movie (which is so underappreciated), the best interpretations of the Hulk in the MCU came from Joss Whedon of all people. If he didn't turn out to be the horrible person behind the scenes he was revealed as later I might've actually been interested to see a Hulk solo film directed by him.
@@JustinWilliams-ed2ug Bruce Banner developed the Hulk personality when he was a child as a defense mechanism to protect himself from his abusive father. Bruce Banner and the Hulk are not exactly two different people, but they are seperate personalities within the same body
Wait Universal still owns The Hulk? Like Sony owns Spider-Man? and yet they haven’t made a deal all these years with Marvel so we can get Hulk movies? WOW too late for Hulk anyways, MCU turned him into a laughing stock
@@ox_trueprotagonistchrisred9085 Sony capitalise on that alliance Disney was interested in it For hulk it was another story There was a deleted scene in ironman 1 Where nick fury comes to see stark And talks about mutants, hulk,Spiderman and others But i guess stuff didn't go as plan and they scrap it
Edward Norton did not say he didn’t wish to work with Joss Whedon. Norton’s agent Brian Swardstrom stated, “Counter to what Kevin implies here, Edward was looking forward to the opportunity to work with Joss and the other actors in the Avengers cast, many of whom are personal friends of his. Feige’s statement is unprofessional, disingenuous and clearly defamatory. Mr Norton’s talent, tireless work ethic and professional integrity deserve more respect, and so do Marvel’s fans.”
The Hulk is actually dead in the MCU and nobody seems to care. Sure banner kind of got the Hulk's power but the personality of the Hulk is straight dead.
@@victor2641 Nah, banner killed his hulk inside through scientifc ways, because he wanted to be rid of him taking over his mind everytime. That is why, he took over his DNA and genes, but killed the living cells of hulk inside him.
Thor Ragnarok was the begining of the end of Hulk, they totally ruined him. He went from a killing machine to a childish goofy giant to a green nerd slightly buff.
Edward Norton's Hulk is probably the best Hulk we will ever get. Even all these years later...go back and watch that movie and tell me that it doesnt have some of the greatest Hulk Action and fight scenes ever put to film.
think this is why Hulk 2003 holds a special place in my heart when it comes to the Hulk, Bruce and the mental struggle they have. We got to see Bruce's struggle with the trauma caused by his father and the death of his mother as well as his struggle in showing emotions and loving someone. It was just a darker film with a more comic book feel and appearance. It was more introspective, not full of humor (besides a couple nut shot scenes) and the Hulk had powers closer to what he had in the comic book. And for the time, the movie and Hulk looks good. Would've enjoyed having another Ang Lee Hulk film. It really was ahead of its time. Wouldn't mind having another 2008 Hulk also. Mf was vicious
Check it out again: the CGI is still incredible, and was crafted with such care. The subtle details they pulled off before the use of facial capture tech is awe-inspiring (the rage after Talbot confronted him in his home, the look of peace and concern he has towards Betty when the dogs show up). Whatever flaws the CG has it is more than made up for by the actions and purposes the Hulk does in the scene; the tank battle CG is not perfect by today's standards, but Hulk mercilessly beating the armor to a pulp is what sells it.
I totally agree. I feel like the hulk is a benchmark for "the strongest being of earth". But then everything later just started to be stronger than him
What? Name like 5 beings on Earth stronger than him... Matter of fact name 2, you really can't. The only human that we've seen is stronger than him is Iron Man but only in a suit specifically designed to beat Hulk. Thanos beat him yeah, but he's literally one of the strongest villains in marvel currently, so losing against him in a 1v1 isn't a bad thing.
@@abhirupkundu2778 How is that ruining? It's a change and one that makes sense, it would be really stupid if the main villain who's supposed to be a threat to the Avengers, Guardians of The Galaxy and more, could be taken down by just one member of the Avengers at the beginning of the movie. It's why people don't consider Loki a threat, he was taken out by just Thor, so when he goes up against the Avengers it's obvious he's going to lose, and there's not much suspense or tension. Even then that's not even what the first guy was saying, the first guy was saying that everyone started becoming stronger than Hulk, when literally only the Hulkbuster and Thanos were stronger. I don't even get how he got 4 likes for that, he literally made that up.
A huge problem with this is having Universal and Sony having the rights. Then again Sony with Marvel oversight has done ok. Not so much with Morbius or Venom 2. Disney shouldn't be so stingy and allow Universal to make a movie with their oversight like Sony. Or buy the rights. If they can buy Star Wars....they can buy two Marvel characters...
Good luck with Universal selling to Disney, Comcast owns Universal and Disney stole FOX Entertainment from Comcast. Comcast has a group of petty people running it, they ruined the company as a whole. Disney is going to have to fork out way more money then a few characters are worth, to get Comcast to play ball. Unless by some chance Disney buys Comcast out, and not only will they get marvel characters. They’ll get the minions, and a ton of NFL, NHL, and other sports content/contracts.
I hate what they did with the Hulk after age of ultron. I just felt like they wasted the most iconic super hero in all of Marvel. I was expecting an epic fight scene between him and Thanos in end game. Now She Hulk practically castrated him being better and stronger even though she's a quarter of his size as she hulk with much smaller muscles making it biologically impossible to be stronger than him. RIP Hulk. Although you're gone you will never be forgotten.
I really enjoyed Hulk when he was smart but still Hulk (03' & 08') savage, but the new smart hulk has nothing that's satisfying. Instead of giving Bruce the body, combine both personalities, one savage and one smart to create Professor Hulk. Like in the comics.
Hulk shouldn’t be just a big dude. He should be an unstoppable killing machine that’s too unstable for banner to get comfortable. EVER. The movies can work on helping him find a more stable path but they just ditched the whole inner turmoil element, which is all Hulk is. Hulk isn’t a threat, which makes him less interesting or menacing. Hulk should have been dominate in the hulk buster fight. Tony should be fighting for his life. Hulk shouldn’t have gotten knocked out.
1996 cartoon hulk is amazing but 2008 was way better to show what hulk really made of. Abomonation is normally stronger then hulk but hulk won. I just like this manly mascular stuff. I dont like these feminism or lgbt stuff they all make games movies lame. I wish that this stupid stuff dissapear
There are two types of comedy in the MCU. Moments where the audience is supposed to laugh at the expense of the character (Bruce flopping on the byfrost instead of transforming) and then there are the moments where the characters actually joke with each other (Steve getting mocked for trying to promote clean language.) One works because it does not jar you out of the scene.
MCU died for me after Infinity War. Endgame was alright I guess, but it didn't feel the same. They don't really have much to work with anymore because they main roster of characters just aren't that interesting. Thor was without a doubt at his best in Infinity War before they chose to have his character regress and basically fall apart. His potential after IW was through the roof, but they killed it. Cap is gone, Ironman is gone, Spiderman isn't capable of holding things together, Strange had a lot of potential but I feel he stagnated in favor of developing Scarlett Witch, Black Widow is gone and they kinda botched her character at the end, Hulk is comedic relief and they ruined his potential in Infinity War, Guardians are done soon, She Hulk just looks terrible, Shang Chi was cool but he needs more development, Blank Panther is gone, and the list goes on. Bucky should have been the new Cap, Falcon just isn't really that interesting. Daredevil would be a nice addition. But they really don't have much else. They should have been developing good new characters to fill that gap. Oh and Eternals was so boring it took me 4 attempts to watch it. Also, they could have done something interesting with Endgame by having either Hulk or Banner get erased with the snap, while the other remained.
Interesting point of view. Considering the greed that put up fences around so many characters, I enjoyed the MCU story. Telling a tale of Bruce and Hulk not only being polar opposites in character but age as well was a new direction. Watching them merge as one becomes older, and effecting the dominant personality, and vice versa as they meshed, created a good window to make your instant win character vulnerable. Besides, he was never going to out Hero RDJ's Iron Man. Even Thanos respected Tony more for his intellect, because Banner always needed a push with his genius, Tony was ready to do what needed to be done. That's always been a Bruce Banner issue. Bringing us smart Hulk with all that baggage was enjoyable, cause Amadeus Cho is straight stupid. Now its a part of Banner, limiting the Hulk in a new, but similar way. I do not think hulks story is over yet in MCU, but who knows with all the new stuff they are pushing.
Edward Norton was also known to be really narcissistic including re-filming and director responsibilities, going above others, and being one of the worst ppl to work with (in Hulk alone. But is said to be the same with other movies).
Yes but they both have a rep for that, expect the other persons is bigger so I do think he was more of the reason since they were willing to recast him Watch his interview on Joe Rogan he was actually a big hulk fan who read comics and cared about how they portrayed the character
@@plumbussmith they took a fierce character and turned him into a gag character to entertain kids. They still forget the reason kids watch these movies is because the adults admire these character themselves. After you grow up you understand life is not always bubbles and giggles, there is also tears and sadness. They are breaking the characters way to much just for kids. I used to like the hulk who got stronger the angrier he got not some character who was scared of thanos after just one beating.
I would love to see a movie of the 5 years that took place, a sort of two extremes slowly beginning not to just let the "other" do as they please but coming to an understanding. While the hulk is in charge Bruce slowly mentors the hulk from a raging beast into a respectable person. Hulk of coarse opposing or failing along the way. The hulk letting Bruce down, due to collateral damage, though the day was saved. The hulk is frustrated that even though he's tried so hard to appease Bruce and even though he succeeded in saving everyone, Bruce is still mad at him. Bruce pulls out the infamous parent line, "I'm not angry, I'm just disappointed." and that is where the hulk finally starts to truly understand. During the climax of the movie, hulk is fighting some massive villain and rather than hulking it up he "listens" to Bruce. Rather than going in gunho and "for the face", The hulk starts to use strategy and diligence. There is a moment where not only Bruce feels proud of hulk, but the hulk himself proud of his change. Rather than changing back into Bruce he becomes the hulk that we see in the final avengers. I failed to think of a way to think of a way where Bruce gains a better understanding of the hulk, without it being cringe worthy or boring. Then again what I just typed above is pretty cringe.
I do enjoy the feeling that this She Hulk series seems to has brought heightened awareness to the clear changes that have been made to our Avengers, and mainly Bruce and the Hulk.
I think that the progression of the Hulk in the movies kind of shows the progression in Banner's relationship with the Hulk. Like how the Hulk becomes more talkative, goofy, and relatively mild-mannered. However, I do agree that Banner's side of the relationship wasn't really shown. Which is a huge shame because it would have gave the character some real depth. But I don't think it would have been very good for a family film, which is probably why Disney didn't go that direction. I would love to see a more adult movie that explores Banner's struggles with the Hulk and how their relationship unfolded.
Great video gang❗This really shows how unfortunately things have changed with the Hulk as a whole. I really enjoyed the beginning stages & era of the character but now obviously there's certain things that I understand why people don't enjoy the character as they once have before. Hopefully we get back the Hulk we all know & love 💯
What happened to the Hulk? Disney happened, they nerfed him, made him a joke like the rest of the heroes and villains also it pisses me off that they make anger and rage a joke when in real life it’s not meant to be treated as a joke it’s extremely dangerous and scary because someone could get hurt. She-Hulk only made me hate the MCU even more and love The Incredible Hulk(2008)a lot more.
I want to see that the hulk and bruce can have a connection where even though they are merged together but when needed he can still come out and fight so they both can have a normal life and be superheroes
Hulk Is Not A Monster, He’s A Hero, And An Avenger, He Saved New York 2 Times From The Abomination And Loki’s Alien Army, And He Even Brought Everyone Back With The Infinity Stones, Hulk Is A Real Hero
6:02 Like how you conveniently cut out the part where he spends almost a full minute violently thrashing around struggling to take control, then asked if Nat and Sokovia was okay right before this... still a good video, but just found it weird to omit that.
Ragnarok wasnt an amazing movie Fun, sure but it's silly tone imo feels wrong for the stakes involved. Plus the success of the "nothing serious" tone seen in Ragnarok led to the shitshow that is love and thunder Plus it hurts as a hulk fan to see one of his best stories wasted away
Yea I wish they would give the hulk his own movie but the put him in Ragnarok instead and for comedy purposes yes but too much comedy crew in a movie if it’s supposed to be an action movie

@@abhirupkundu2778 Actually without the collector's help, hulk would have massively lost against Thor in that fight....They used a chunk of the world war hulk story for Ragnarok so how will they do it without it being nothing like the original? Read before you comment.
Ok…. What if there was a Hulk series like THIS: So I have an idea for a standalone Hulk series on Disney+ or a movie. I’m sure it’ll be very controversial and a lot of people on here will hate the idea since it relates to mental health but it could be dark and impactful but also fun and exciting… The series would follow an aged hulk, in his mid 50s, grey hair and living alone in quiet, bleak, and desolate town…living a sad and lonely life. This Hulk is not a part of the MCU so Black Widow is still alive, this Hulk is also a very deadly weapon. Stronger than any force or person on Earth and all the Avengers fear his wrath. A Black opening screen with small white texts saying: “Hulk” appears, then it opens on Bruce drinking whiskey at an empty movie theater: Bruce Banner: “Ahh! Come on!” (He screams, at the screen) (Black Widow enters the theater, looking older as well, she has grey hair mixed in with her red) Black Widow: Bruce…(Looking at him in shock) Bruce: Natasha… what’re you doing here!? (He says as he stumbles into a movie theater chair, drunk) Natasha: Bruce… everyone is concerned about you…All of the Avengers, your family, Its- its been years Bruce! Come back. We all want you back! We just want to see you happy and healthy again Bruce…Come back to the Avengers! Find your purpose again- Hulk: NOOOO! (Hulk bursts out and screams deep/scary at her) Natasha: (Hair is blown back by Hulk’s scream) Bruce… please… It’s me… We all just want what’s best for you Bruce. You could be so much more. You could be saving the world. You could be meaningful yet you choose to isolate and live a pathetic and lonely life. Come back to reality Bruce. Make a difference again. Be someone people can care about, Bruce… This will be my last trip out here for a while…(She gets up as he sits there breathing heavily / trying to not lose his cool) Take care of yourself Bruce… You really are better than (Looks around the empty / trashed theater) all this… Hulk: (Hulk bursts out /SCREAMS DEEPLY) YOU DONT UNDERSTANDDD!! Bruce: (Hulk calms, returns to Bruce, his hands shaking- voice rattling) You, you…you don’t understand Natasha… I cannot BE BETTER. I cannot HELP SAVE THE WORLD! I cannot RUN AROUND WITH THE FUCKING AVENGERS! I’m too busy trying to control- Hulk: (Burst out, screams deep and loudly) MYYYY ANGERRRR!! Bruce: (Quickly transforms back to Banner, leaving him weary/shaken) I…I… cannot control it. I take pills everyday to numb the Hulk out, and it works for a while. Then I have a drink and lose control… I feel nothing for a bit. I live a very empty and dark life Natasha… I stay quiet- away from everyone and everything. But… To be honest Natasha… (He looks down, menacingly) I miss it. I miss him. I miss becoming it... I miss the anger. (His voice deepens) I miss the- Hulk: (Bursts out) HHHHUUUULLLLKKKKK!! (Hits / destroys a few of the theater chairs around him) Natasha: (Slightly nervous now) B-Bruce? … Hulk? Big guy? Calm down! I just care about you, I didn’t mean to- Hulk: (Tramples Natasha’s leg, on accident) Natasha: (Screams in agony, as she look up at him in fear) Ah, ah, ah, Bruce! Hulk! STOP! HELP! PLEASE.. AH! The song “Dream a Little Dream of Me” by Ella Fitzgerald plays as it fades away to Bruce holding a a glass of whiskey, shaking, sitting in the same theater- reminiscing on when he crippled Black Widow (who is now paralyzed due to him Hulking out on her). He opens his hand revealing pills- takes a few, followed by a shot. Cut to black screen. Small white text pops up saying “Hulk”. Followed by silence. This movie would be titled “Hulk” and would address his depression / mental instability. It would relate to bipolar disorder as well as dealing with mental illnesses and how that is very similar to what Bruce deals with, with the Hulk. The movie would have action, but it would be an introspective look at his ability, or lack their of, to deal with the “Hulk.” It would go into how when he takes pills he can “get rid of the Hulk” but he lives a numb and empty life. Then when he is off medicine, he feels like himself again but he “Hulks out” and hurts people around him that love him. I’m not sure if anything like this has been written before, but I deal with bipolar disorder as well and I think portraying the Hulk in this light could be insightful but also very action packed and fun / different. Sorry this was all over the place- what do you think about this idea?
How about we don't bring back Natasha and his relationship since they had no chemistry. Instead, bring back Betty Ross. Also, don't you think "dream a little dream of me" has been played out too much already?
I just recently learned that I've been living with bipolar disorder this whole time and now I realized why I can relate to Hulk/Banner this whole time..
@@KamenRider1 yes I relate so much to it because of bipolar! I wish theyd touch on this more- it could be such an intriguing parallel to real life and a different approach than what Marvels been doing lately
@@kylea9526 I think the Bixby/Ferrigno, Bana, and Norton versions handled that topic well. As well as the Incredible Hulk Ultimate Destruction game from 2005. It's truly a struggle that Disney/the MCU seem to not care about and it hurts the Hulk as a character sadly.
My hopes for the she hulk finale. I hope she hulk goes to fight abomination with Bruce, I hope Bruce gets tossed aside or something, looks over and sees she hulk being pounded into the ground. The true hulk, the real hulk awakens. Hulk charges at abomination, she hulk joins in, win win. She hulk is cool, hulk is cool (again)
You never really put your finger on what the real problem with what Disney has done with the Hulk is. They've feminized him. Or, at the very least, emasculated him. The Hulk was always a rage monster, an army all on his own. He wasn't a soldier in the army of the Avengers, he was an uncontrollable, chaotic, rage monster that you pointed at what you wanted dead, and you simply unleashed him. The angrier he got, the more punishment he endured, the stronger it made him. The more formidable opponent he became. To the point he could be come strong enough to tear entire planets apart. Yet we're supposed to believe, that starting in Infinity War, he could get knocked unconscious in a simple fist fight? And then he gets so scared that he won't even come out anymore? And then Professor Hulk is just the epitome of his emasculation. It's so sad to see this dynamic, unique, and limitlessly interesting character get reduced to such a weak beta-male version of himself. This isn't the Hulk. And that's the real problem. It's the woke, feminist version of what they think the Hulk should be. Which tears down every aspect of the Hulk that makes him the Hulk.
ive noticed for awhile that the hulk is getting screwed over more and more in every movie but this is the first time ive noticed the difference in how Banner sees hulk, thanks for pointing that out
I personally really like smart Hulk from Endgame since it took Hulk in a very different direction. Unfortunately this version has pacified the opportunity for audiences to see a more aggressive and powerful display of his abilities. In the end, a professor is more boring to watch than a heavyweight UFC fighter throwing devastating punches in a fight.
Don't understand how thanos could beat the hulk so easily. Hulk is a juggernaut. He fights monsters and destroys anything in his path he's unstoppable. So i don't know how he could lose to thanos so easily
I really like the idea of the first hulk movie with Eric Bana. Hulk is still a version of Bruce Banners childhood trauma that has kept him a child with "daddy issues". I always liked the idea that he has a very child like fighting style and maybe during ragnarok the 2 years of earth time was a lot more in the other planet/dimension? Time.
There have been versions of Hulk in the comics that were literally Bruce's mind and Hulk's body. There have been versions where it's the angry Hulk but he has Banner's intelligence, there have been versions where it's the Savage Hulk with regular human level intelligence, and there has been the more familiar "Hulk Smash" version. There's no one "true" Hulk.
mark ruffalo is the problem not the writers, if they recast the hulk, i feel as though the character will be a lot stronger because ruffalo is so woke, and tries his best to come up with ways to weaken the hulk to make the character into a joke i feel that if he wasnt involved that the character would shine again
A way to fix his character in future films: What if Bruce is still depressed, he's just masking, even hiding it from himself. He's pretending he's happy and he's pretending he's in control, but in reality he's still supressing Hulk. He looks like a joke and he is one, he'd rather be that than what he used to be, and aknowledge himself. He's completey erasing himself and supressing the other guy, and at some point he'll fall apart again because the act isnt working, snd he'll go back to square one, at war with himself. (Of course this wont happen, because the writers dont care about him, they want She-Hulk to be the new Hulk but without the Jeckyll and Hyde.)
People want a "badass" hulk but hulk being a badass is what made him want to exile himself, he proved he has actual compassion and character beyond "I break stuff"
Norton is also a huge control freak. He always demands he can rewrite things and change scripts to change characters how he thinks they should be. It was prolly mutual . Marvel not wanting to give him what he wants and him not getting what he wants to be able to do in a film. Read about his Hulk movie. He wanted it more about Banner and his sad traveling man thing
Norton is a great actor but I do not think Banner was the right role for him. I think he would’ve been a better Reed Richards because he looks more like him and is a difficult person who likes to control and do everything like Reed does.

Mcu directors and writers did not want to deal with Norton. Norton was still considered an A list actor and wanted some creative control over the character and they not only didn’t want to give it to him but cited Norton as being difficult to work with.
Disney/Marvel Studios can produce Hulk movies themselves, but Universal will get a percentage of the profits the film earns. So, yeah, no one cares about this character in Marvel Studios, and that's sad.
You got something wrong in this video.
Universal only owns the distribution rights to Hulk movies.
Disney could make a hulk movie if they were willing to share profits with Universal
The reason Disney won't is because Comcast(universal) will not prioritize Disney+ streaming.
Thats why The incredible Hulk is never on D+
Disney has long had issues with sharing profits with others since the 80s. Who Framed Roger Rabbit pretty much killed Disney's relationship with sharing anything. They want it all to themselves at all costs.

Thor Ragnarok was pretty cool
Yep, After that, Ragnarok, Endgame & etc shows and movies made The Hulk look like the biggest loser on the planet

Norton’s Hulk was my absolute favorite. He truly felt like an unstoppable force of nature and actually scared me when I was a kid.
This comment is so on fucking point
This is the best comment ever about the actual Hulk, thank you
I absolutely agree.

Unfortunately, they CHOSE to do that for Hulk, not with female characters but with every character Hulk loses to in a fight that he clearly should have won (or at least put up a better fight) like Thanos, etc.

think this is why Hulk 2003 holds a special place in my heart when it comes to the Hulk, Bruce and the mental struggle they have.

There are two types of comedy in the MCU. Moments where the audience is supposed to laugh at the expense of the character (Bruce flopping on the byfrost instead of transforming) and then there are the moments where the characters actually joke with each other (Steve getting mocked for trying to promote clean language.)
One works because it does not jar you out of the scene.

I 100% agree with this video. Hulk is my number 1 hero of all time. They need to put more respect on his name

I think The Incredible Hulk is the best MCU film.
Norton will always be my Hulk. Mark’s hulk is a joke that just gets beat up by other people. Now he’s fully a joke character as “Smart Hulk”

They legit turned the Hulk into a really green version of Beast.

The series would follow an aged hulk, in his mid 50s, grey hair and living alone in quiet, bleak, and desolate town…living a sad and lonely life.
This Hulk is not a part of the MCU so Black Widow is still alive, this Hulk is also a very deadly weapon. Stronger than any force or person on Earth and all the Avengers fear his wrath.

Black Widow: Bruce…(Looking at him in shock)
Bruce: Natasha… what’re you doing here!? (He says as he stumbles into a movie theater chair, drunk)
Natasha: Bruce… everyone is concerned about you…All of the Avengers, your family, Its- its been years Bruce! Come back. We all want you back! We just want to see you happy and healthy again Bruce…Come back to the Avengers! Find your purpose again-
Hulk: NOOOO! (Hulk bursts out and screams deep/scary at her)
Natasha: (Hair is blown back by Hulk’s scream) Bruce… please… It’s me… We all just want what’s best for you Bruce. You could be so much more. You could be saving the world.
You could be meaningful yet you choose to isolate and live a pathetic and lonely life. Come back to reality Bruce. Make a difference again. Be someone people can care about, Bruce…
This will be my last trip out here for a while…(She gets up as he sits there breathing heavily / trying to not lose his cool)
Take care of yourself Bruce… You really are better than (Looks around the empty / trashed theater) all this…
Hulk: (Hulk bursts out /SCREAMS DEEPLY) YOU DONT UNDERSTANDDD!!
Bruce: (Hulk calms, returns to Bruce, his hands shaking- voice rattling) You, you…you don’t understand Natasha…
I cannot BE BETTER. I cannot HELP SAVE THE WORLD! I cannot RUN AROUND WITH THE FUCKING AVENGERS! I’m too busy trying to control-
Hulk: (Burst out, screams deep and loudly) MYYYY ANGERRRR!!
But…
To be honest Natasha… (He looks down, menacingly)
I miss it.
I miss him.
I miss becoming it...
I miss the anger. (His voice deepens) I miss the-
Hulk: (Bursts out) HHHHUUUULLLLKKKKK!! (Hits / destroys a few of the theater chairs around him)
Natasha: (Slightly nervous now) B-Bruce?
… Hulk?
Big guy?
Calm down!
I just care about you, I didn’t mean to-
Hulk: (Tramples Natasha’s leg, on accident)
Natasha: (Screams in agony, as she look up at him in fear) Ah, ah, ah, Bruce! Hulk! STOP! HELP! PLEASE..
@@aaron-jeffreyrincon9438 maybe it’s overplayed- true! :p
😂 thats such a great line. I'm a fan of the way you lose control and turn into an emormous green rage monster
We want "Planet Hulk/World War Hulk" in the MCU
Incredable hulk is the most hulk I like a lot...now they made hulks power waste
A Disney show with more old Hulk scenes showing how he merged his two consciousnesses would be cool
hulk 2008 is the best for me
I hate how he's turned more and more into a comedic relief..
I hate the smart hulk I want the destruction hulk back
I'm glad they animated world breaker hulk before the live action. One of his best stories actually got some justice
But she hulk good real hulk bad
Perfect summary
ive noticed for awhile that the hulk is getting screwed over more and more in every movie but this is the first time ive noticed the difference in how Banner sees hulk, thanks for pointing that out
Why not just make an avengers movie based on the hulk, like avengers world war hulk
After Endgame Marvel projects went south really fast.
The Hulk is a feminine beta male thanks to @Disney.
What an amazing video put it together perfectly and did some research! Hopefully universal allows marvel to honor the character properly
Bring back 08 hulk cause taika watiti ruined him
Good video thank you , updated visual studio and everything worked. I'm really glad I found a working crack

That cutoff on her "Why?" is wonderful.
The incredible woke
The best Hulk movie, was 2003 I think it was, After that most of it was crap. Damn he's the Hulk, Let him be the Hulk!
Don't understand how thanos could beat the hulk so easily. Hulk is a juggernaut. He fights monsters and destroys anything in his path he's unstoppable. So i don't know how he could lose to thanos so easily
I believe his gama was low
Nah that's never a thing
Plot armor
Skills I bet McGregor could beat a body builder to a pulp
Yea Thanos scared of big green boi in comics , should've been the same here but whatever
Time.
woke societies and feminists got us here
I think Hulk and Banner becoming one person was a good concept with a bad execution
Lore of What Happened to The Hulk momentum 100
Now she hulk is stronger then him. It's like they want him to fail
She never was
I think she hulk looks amazing, anybody here with me?
mark ruffalo is the problem not the writers, if they recast the hulk, i feel as though the character will be a lot stronger because ruffalo is so woke, and tries his best to come up with ways to weaken the hulk to make the character into a joke i feel that if he wasnt involved that the character would shine again
We had to expect the results we’ve seen. Disney wants to make the characters more appealing to a wider variety of people.
I actually like the character development of Hulk from Ragnarok more❤❤❤Hulk fan
People want a "badass" hulk but hulk being a badass is what made him want to exile himself, he proved he has actual compassion and character beyond "I break stuff"
The hulk had too much “toxic masculinity”. So they NERFED him.
@@petermj1098 I could def see him as Reed Richards, good call.
@@petermj1098 I still need to watch new Dr. Strange movie but I heard Reed is.played by the quiet place office guy . And it's just ... Meh. Personally, I love the Roger corman fan 4 and it should just be restored and re released as Marvels fantastic 4 movie lol
If the mcu could make a Banner Hulk series it would be called “Hulk smashes out of the closet”
Mcu directors and writers did not want to deal with Norton. Norton was still considered an A list actor and wanted some creative control over the character and they not only didn’t want to give it to him but cited Norton as being difficult to work with.
Pretty sure marvel gets the hulk rights next year
Hulk now is like reading about Dr jacklle and Mr Hyde but Mr Hyde do not exist
Disney/Marvel Studios can produce Hulk movies themselves, but Universal will get a percentage of the profits the film earns.
So, yeah, no one cares about this character in Marvel Studios, and that's sad.
After what they've done to him, we deserve World War Hulk
