Thanks for this video, I was able to do my own pads and rotors and save hundreds of dollars. The shop was gonna charge me $570 to do my back tires, I bought everything I need for $160 and spent a couple extra hours doing it myself.

I have a 2017 enclave, got brake pads for all four and two front rotors which came out to around 1,300 dollars, after that i knew i needed to learn how to do my own damn brakes cause my bank is gonna break with that dealership.
I appreciate this video very much

Your welcome. With just some basic hand tools it’s definitely worth doing it yourself and saving some money.

Thanks for the detailed video, for the newbies/first timers the inside brake pads have left and right they are not all the same like the outer ones, they should be marked on the pads as well, took me a sec to figure it out

Great video. Like me I am way over due for changing my brake fluid. Dot 3 or 4 synthetic only. Thanks again.

Very imformative video. I love your attention to detail and the way you explained the steps. My Enclave is AWD, do I have to lift both rear wheels off the ground for them to rotate when I locate the parking brake adjuster? Thanks.

@bluecollargarge I am curious about one thing you mentioned breaking in the brake brake pads. Is this something that is related to the NAPA brake pad you used or something you prefer to do, or is it a GM recommendation? This is the first I've heard of this and that's the reason for my curiosity reason for my curiosity.
Thank you for the great video I did find it very informative

This is something you should always do after replacing the pads and rotors. It’s also called bed in procedure. It helps prevent rotor warping, noise, and stopping power. I show how to do this at the end on some of my other brake videos.

@@BLUECOLLARGARAGE I've changed brakes for years and I cannot believe I've been oblivious to this step. Thank you for the information.
