So I just finished watching this video nearly two years after its release and decided to check the leaderboards to see if Dayo still had the WR. As of December 2022, not only does he still have the 120% WR, he has *crushed* his previous time with a 1:21:02, a mere 3 seconds away from getting the first ever 1:20:XX, AND he also has the any% WR, with a 37:57 - the only sub 38. Dude's a legend and the living proof that you really can achieve anything if you're willing to work hard enough for it

It was my biggest passion, but the amount of pressure I put on myself made me miserable whenever I would play, so I'm now focusing on my TH-cam channel, which is more fun and chill. What a wonderful and inspirational man.I myself have just joined the spyro speedrunning community a little over a year ago and i got to see his world record run on youtube and it was amazing.And to get to see him celebrate with his family and to see that he has the same loves as me with skateboarding and music is extremely awesome.Keep on keeping on man and maybe one day I can join you in the ranks.Although sadly i have lost my mom and i wish i could celebrate spyro feats with her like you did but atleast I have my awesome wife that has helped me since that horrible time of my life.And the more past 30 I get the more my skateboarding gets away from me with my reconstructed knee.But seeing someone like you smile while doing the same things i either do or have done has reinvigorated me to keep doing it no matter what.

Man, it's crazy how much history is behind these records, and how much further they've been pushed just since the time of this video. This was such a great way to introduce us to Dayoman and capture so much of what went into the latest achievements in Spyro 120% speedrunning. Overall, seeing this video when it dropped has really helped get me into everything behind the speedrunning community of these games, and I really appreciate all that went into documenting this. So well-done! Even now, the journey's still going forward, with Dayo at the cusp of his next goal, 120 in 120%. If there's some sort of a followup once another major breakthrough like that happens, I'd be very interested in seeing everything that's lead up to it in such a well-documented fashion similar to this. Watching Saboom make the most EPIC comeback with his first 121, and seeing their rivalry after Dayo started getting consistent 121s and pushing the record even further to that inevitable 120, just what a ride it's been. Please keep up the great work!

The fact that he was still so happy after getting a time 10 seconds away from WR is amazing! Most would be crushed by it.
He’s like that fighter who isn’t very headliner for his career but people have always loved his prolific consistency in his character so it’s this saga. These documentaries etc are always so well done.
Also, the music thing analogies at the end speaks volumes.
