The rolling brake is because of the stock springs. I replaced two springs and it eliminates that mush. Makes the take up light and the break crisp. There are other areas that can be improved to make the trigger really good.
The strike one is the 5” version, larger grip. The speed or the sai versions are the best. Their popular over seas, so toni systems makes aftermarket parts for them.
The strike one is amazing. The type b needs more aftermarket support that doesn’t suck. I upgrade the triggers in the strike one to under 3 pounds. For instance my strike one has a 2 pound 6 oz trigger with very little over travel, short reset and a crisp break. Probably as close to a 2011 trigger as any striker gun can get. Honestly the trigger design in these guns is amazing and can be customized without sacrificing any of the safeties.
Have the mag release button issues been worked out on the newer Strike models? I have a ported first gen Strike that is one of the best and softest shooting pistols I’ve ever shot, but the regular reports of the mag release issues back then scare me from wanting to rely on it.
@ If the mag release is adjusted to be too sensitive, it can cause the magazine to eject under fire. There is a simple way to remove the leaf spring for the mag release and adjust it so that this doesn’t happen, Rain6 has a video on it. Mine didn’t have a problem until about 2000 rounds so I pulled that leaf spring out, adjusted it slightly and the problem was resolved. I now have 10,000 rounds on it with no issues. It’s not a flaw in the pistol, but maybe a flaw in the design of the way, the mag release is made, but it’s easily resolved. The second gen’s don’t use that style of mag release. They use the same style as the Archon type b and they don’t have this issue.
@ if you find Rain6 video on adjusting the magazine release here on TH-cam I’m sure you won’t be concerned with the problem when you see how easy it is to resolve the issue. But again the second GEN models don’t have this issue and the way you tell if it’s first or second GEN mag release the second GEN have a pin located in the grip about a half an inch below the mag release where the first gen don’t.
@hunter-constantine it's cool for sure, probably feels nice shooting. But I could never justify the prize to get one, I'll stick with my cz p10. Was actually amazed at a local ipsc match I was helping at. In 2 days saw 6 aliens , people have a hard time seeing one without being called crazy 🤣
These guns are a gimmick. The stupid webbing that bridges the beaver tail is actually there becuase it’s too thin/fragile without it. It’s not making your grip better. Good grief everyone.
The one with the comp looks like what Robocop carries off-duty.
Thanks for having me on the channel and making me do burpees ❤❤
Criminally underrated channel. Hunter Constantine is the newest name on my “want a range day with” list
Thanks man!
YES! Been waiting for you to get this. Been shooting my archon for a couple years love it. Rain6 are good people too

I love the THOTs
It needs to be ported and you’ll find it real quick. It’s the best porting polymer gun in the world.
Might have to buy one and check it out
