Just want to say a big thank you mate. This is the second time in as many years that I have followed your guidance and saved me time and lots of cash! Just waiting for the part to arrive with DHL in an hour or two so I can finish up. Class my friend.
Thanks a lot for posting this. In my case, the window stayed at the very bottom and wouldn't go up, so I had no way to take it out of the clamp. But cutting the metal wire released the tension and solved the problem. Thanks again!
Boys love BMW, because we can repair it by ourselves. With some short videos from TH-cam we can fix most of the problems. All the cars are breakable, nothing about the brand.
thank you bro, I just did this. I couldn't get the regulator clip into the window hole. Seems like it just wouldn't fit whatever I did, found out the window still works though and it seems pretty snug on there, so Im just letting it roll with out the clip into the window hole.
I have a 2006 325I, front driver window does not roll up or down. The regulator is good and the switch is good. Have you come across anything like this?
Thank you for walking through the entire process. I had no real issues following along and now have a working rear window for $37! Wooop

Fantastic video very simple. I didn’t replace anything, I just pushed the window up from below while the motor was on and it kind of fixed itself 🙏🏼

Awesome vid, had to replace in both sides. If one side goes off, sooner or later plastic will also snap on the other side. 👍

Were you able to fix this yourself?
The window in my car is lowered all the way down & I can’t reach the green clip. Any suggestions?
If it’s the wire from the window regulator is holding it stuck. Try cutting the wire with wire cutters then push or pull the window up?
Thanks bro you’re a life saver

Most of the time it’s the clip and not the regulator
