    💌Thank you for the tips! I cook broculli all the time but I had not heard about chopping at least 30 minutes ahead of cooking. Steaming is my favorite way to cook veggies esp. broculli, I think it is the best!

    I have never heard of this necessity of chopping to stimulate anti oxidants 30 minutes before cooking. Extremely valuable. Thankvyou.

    I love broccoli & always cook it in a Chinese bamboo steamer. I love to eat with olive oil, chilli flakes & pan roasted cashew nuts for crunch.

    Any tips on how to clean broccoli properly? Was hoping to see it included in this video. I've done warm salt water for 15 mins, or even distilled vinegar and water in room temp for 15, just dont know what's proper..🤯

  • @michellemaldonado2270
    @michellemaldonado2270 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Is the organic already chopped broccoli in a bag that you steam in the microwave going to still be nutritious? I'm surprised that gas is not a problem for you with eating broccoli everyday. Thank you for your videos, very educational and pleasant.

    • @SophieUlianoGorgeouslyGreen
      @SophieUlianoGorgeouslyGreen  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Honestly, Michelle, I would chop the broccoli again and let it sit for the 30, even if you're just chopping off a bit at the end. And my stomach has adjusted to the amount of fiber, so while yes, everyone has gas, I don't feel it so severely!

And Dr Greger on nutrion.org talk about vegans get shrinking brains.He is vegan himself.And that they should take a supplement with DHA & EPA

    Hi Sophie! I have been dehydrating healthy, plant based meals to take backpacking. Will broccoli lose it’s cancer fighting properties if I dehydrate it?

  • @joelleaittama1416

    I keep burning my broccoli with my 360 🤔. I think it’s because I rinse and drain the water as the book they provide states.
    I will add more water as you’ve shown here.
    Thanks.

    • @SophieUlianoGorgeouslyGreen

      I steam my Broccoli with the Microwave without water. I put chopped broccoli in a glass bowl with a glass lid and microwave between 2 and 3 mins depending on the amount I am steaming.

I've been collecting the 360 cookware after taking advantage of your previous offers. I now have quite a collection. I just added the 3 qt. with this special and a jelly roll pan, only to realize I already had one of their pans (I can always use 2 as they're small). I love their chopper device that is one of Oprah's favorite things. ;D Thanks for all the info you provide. I've been chopping up all of my cruciferous veggies but never waited 30 minutes.
