letting us see what u bring back from the market is so helpful making a list sometimes its hard to know what to buy and what not to buy love to see Moore this going to help a lot thank you
I love honey crisp apples! I sprinkle a bit of cinnamon on top! Apples always give me bursts of energy. I especially love apples in salads with a vinaigrette dressing! It compliments the sweetness of the Apple!
Store your tomatoes on the counter with the stem end down. Chill just before use (if desired) and after cutting. They last longer than in the fridge. Also, to extend the life buy unripened tomatoes and let them ripen on the counter.
Rishi--yes!! My favorite brand of tea. And love the silver needle. My favorite go-with is either biscotti or a healthy little oatmeal muffin--YUMM! Thank you, Sophie, for your fun videos!
Loving the fleece. I just subscribed today enjoying all your videos. I am 48 and have a lot is issues with belly fat despite working out and eating healthy. Gonna cut back on dairy and grains and use a lot of your tips. It just might be what I need.
Hi sophie I just put water in a glass cup and put your cilantro in your fridge door cover it with a blue bag , change the water every to days and it will be good for a week or more, hope you try it, love your videos, sorry for my English I’m just trying it, I speak Spanish, hugs!
Hi! I really enjoyed your vlog. 😊 I’m going to try incorporating tea time into my day too. Love that idea. I’m going to go watch your scone video now. Yummmm Thank you for sharing 💜. And you gave me great meal ideas for after my farmers market trek. What is your feeling on caffeine and health?
This was fun to watch! I wish we had more healthy options here in Florida too...instead I gotta drive around town like crazy to get items...😬 I vote yes on the vlogs, although I admit I scroll through anything that’s over 20-30 minutes long l...and I watch all the shorter ones...under 15 would be best in my opinion 😊
I enjoyed this video. Could you perhaps share the Mexican recipes you like. Mexican is my go to comfort food. However, I am trying to lose weight and adopt a WFPB lifestyle. Thank you, Sophie.💕
i may be too late to comment, but I was wondering what brand tortilla is used? I can't seem to find any tortillas with good ingredients in them and no oil or no 'bad for you' oils. Thanks for your time. Enjoyed watching :)
The bean looks like broad beans to me but my mum never ate the skin, just the bean. A little hard to get size perspective. Hope this helps. Thanks from Australia
I love all of your choices and would love the slaw but sadly cruciferous veggies are not thyroid friendly so to be avoided unless steamed or eaten sparingly. soy (tempeh) products are a no for thyroid too. Love the tea and scones - yum - is there a scone recipe? thanks
Those green long beens is "piattoni" in italian. We love them cooked with tomato passata and garlic. The only thing I was disappointed in this video is amount of plastic bags!!!! Didn't you used to shop with reusable muslin bags?
I think I eat too little fats.I am always so hungry at night just eating salads. Some say no fats just fruits and the opposite. And to check on omega 3 and 6.Just nice to just eat sometimes what vegan food one wants, without junkfood.
Hi, Sophie. Love your channel. One of the most important parts of buying at farmers markets is to reduce packaging to almost zero. I am shocked a vegan channel from LA would even dare to show so much unnecessary plastic brought from the farmers market. Sophie, please commit to reducing your packaging whenever possible. Maybe to zero one day ....
Deidre, I will be the first to second your ":(" - This was an eco-sin that really doesn't happen very often. I just didn't want to subject you guys to the VERY OLD plastic bags I usually use (I've been recycling the same set for about 10 years).
They're runner beans Sophie. Usually with orange flowers but sometimes other colours depending on the variety. 💚

I loved this!!! Your bunny onsie is cute! Please do more of these what I eat in a day. Your creativity with your meals is inspiring. ❤️
Hi Sophie, great video!! I also use plastic bags, when given to me. I recycle or pick up 'doggy dooty' with them.
love you much!

I love all of your choices and would love the slaw but sadly cruciferous veggies are not thyroid friendly so to be avoided unless steamed or eaten sparingly. soy (tempeh) products are a no for thyroid too. Love the tea and scones - yum - is there a scone recipe? thanks
You should be okay with eating these foods sparingly if you get enough iodine.
Those green long beens is "piattoni" in italian. We love them cooked with tomato passata and garlic. The only thing I was disappointed in this video is amount of plastic bags!!!! Didn't you used to shop with reusable muslin bags?
I know - I do recycle them tho!!!
Did you put a dressing on the lunch salad? I’m trying oil free so I keep using tahini or almond butter.
Or pesto? Balsamic reduction?
I did put a little olive oil and lemon juice on it.
Is your tea pot combination..glass or plastic..
It's plastic, but it's lasted me for years!
Organic Honey Crisp

I think I eat too little fats.I am always so hungry at night just eating salads. Some say no fats just fruits and the opposite. And to check on omega 3 and 6.Just nice to just eat sometimes what vegan food one wants, without junkfood.
Is your husband vegan, too? Lots of veggies... lots of things to cook/make.. btw you are a very good mom...
My husband is not, but he tries. He doesn't eat meat at home, and very occasionally has fried chicken when he's out and about!!
your so inspiring
they are called broad beans.
Thanks Lori!
Love your videos! Hope not to see plastic bags in the future videos though :)
I know, an eco-sin. It only happens rarely!

Good point - I do try, and will try harder!!!
you forgot to bring your own bags for going
shopping. ;-)
I know - Eco-sin #1!
Hello Sophie - I've just found you on TH-cam and really like a lot of what you say - however I am disappointed to see so many plastic bags!
I know - I've created a special Earth Day video to remedy this. Coming out next week!!!
You look so cute
You’re British..isn’t it pronounced “scons” (rhymes with “on”), lol?
Yes!
Not necessarily I say scones to rhyme with owns.
Please stop the music.
Can't believe how much plastic your shopping comes in. Can you not use reusable cotton shopping bags please?
Im so distracted by the plastic bags. You talk about sustainability, I feel like part of doing your part is not using plastic. :(
