I wouldn't call it a "supercar" but i picked up a w12 A8l in December. It's not a "fast" car but it is really fun, really comfortable, and I'm the only person I know around my age (24) with a 12 cyl car.
Any supercar that the average person might be able to afford one day is "on a budget". Also we're all car people here, let's respect each other and the cars that we all choose to spend money on

I was 19 years old didn’t get approved for mint condition 91 all black NSX beck in 2014 wish I did always wanted one but they are at least 70,000$ now feels nice to drive a car that keeps it value

I would buy something smaller first i did it that way and even with my 570s im sure I would of crshed it if I didn't learn how to drive on something with less power (it was the g37)
Not if you want the high performance ones though - you can get a 70K+ mileage V6 for around 30K, but the only V8 that I've seen under 40K was a salvage title with over 50k miles... Still, amazing value if you want supercar level performance in a car that most people don't expect to be as fast as it is.
I would love to do some work on a 1998-2001 Mercury Cougar and either make it a JDM beast or combine two of its engines, get a body kit, do a LOT of custom/aftermarket work, do some NICE body modification to it, and then have a budget exotic car/super car/hyper car.
Half these cars that are around the 70k area can also get you a brand new corvette z06 or used zr1 or something like that that comes with way more power. I get their exotic but why get something old that’s wicked expensive when you can get something brand new and faster

I'm having a blast with this thing and I have smoked other cars. I got mine for $30,000 3 years old with only 10,000 miles on it.. If you want to take it a step up, get the Giulia Quadrifolio.

How about a Lotus Evora 400/410? Maybe it doesn't qualify as a supercar but its definitely an exotic, exclusive sportscar with superb handling, manual and nice sounding V6👌

To be honest, the issue I have is calling ANY of these "Supercars". The term was created to describe the Lamborghini Miura. It was the fastest, (in my opinion) the most beautiful and tech advanced car of the time. These are faster and more advanced, but not to each other.
I mean now we use terms like hyper cars to describe a car that is comparable to the Miura, they are not sports cars, they could only really be described as sport cars or exotics but even exotics would be a stretch, although this is just my opinion and I'm not trying to takeaway from anything you said👍

They were calling the Gallardo a supercar even though it didn't have the performance, but the GT-R wasn't. I would proffer that the top tier cars from the "Big Boys" are supercars. This would include the Aventador, Ferrari 599, etc. The limited cars above this would be the hypercars. What do you think?
I found a mark 5 2021 Toyota supra with the turbo charged straight six for 57K, it does have an automatic but you could easily replace this with the money you save, I mean the mark five supra is not as amazing as the mark 4 but you still have a legendary Toyota sports car in your garage that will last forever for a decent price.
The 1998 to 2001 Mercury Cougar is also highly underrated in the terms of its potential. Yes, I kind of hate the fact that it got turned into an American answer to Eurospec tuners and JDM cars, but at least it is a decent answer to them, plus it is even more underestimated than the Dodge Neon SRT-4.
