Hellcats are not race cars. They are muscle cars. They’re meant to flex on the competition. BiG wheels, wide body, and a hood scoop so large that you can’t even see the road. You have to lean out of the window to see the road which makes you look cool as the wind blows back your hair.
I can keep up with my brothers Hellcat with my 2002 S10 SPORT 350 V8 LS1 Corvette Crater...I've replaced the Hood..Doors..Bed..& Tailgate with Fiberglass Parts...
Yup. Just think about all the gas and oil used just to mine the elements needed and then the gas and oil in transport to the processing plants and then off to the battery manufacturer. Funny when the majority of electricity used to power said electric vehicle's come from burning some form of hydrocarbon or from nuclear power. Oh and don't forget how toxic those batteries are for the enviroment also. So a reasonable person has to conclude that sayings like "go green" or "buy electric cars to save the planet" etc. are complete and utter nonsense bull shit and quite contradictory.
trust me ive done enough reasurch on this and electric vehicles do save the earth by producing less co2 compared to gas powered vehicles. even tho the electric vehicles produce 3 times more polution while production compared to gas powered vehicles, they are still better at saving the environment to a bit, as in they dont make pollution while they are used. btw i do hate electric shit and all but just facts..

The GTR is meant to be driven on straights and turns, the Hellcat is meant to do one thing and one thing only, tear up the dragstrip, a quarter mile at a time
Drag is it's strong point but they wouldn't have put the wide body on the 'Ring and Motor Trend wouldn't have put it in Best Driver's Car if it was only a drag car.
@@IdealMediaChannel It think I'm gonna stick to the Nissan GT-R. That's for cars. For that honorable mention. That's actually one of my favourite bikes.
Yow. This whole pick your fav is too hard. Too much advantages and disadvantages where one car has this but the other car has this so you don't get the complete package you're looking for.
So this guy's comparing a muscle car built specifically for drag racing against cars specifically built for the track. Looks like he's the most intelligent person on this planet
Totally agree! My stock 280z can give any car a run for its money when corners are involved. I know it goes 145+ mph. My brain wouldn't let me look at the speedometer after that, was hyper focused on the road...😳
Theoretically speaking, muscle cars aren't that great at anything other than going in a straightline. We're talking bone stock here, so if I had to choose between the hellcat or R35. I'm taking the R35 all day.
Well it depends what u r talking exactly. I assume u mean the nissan cuz it can b argued the others r muscle cars 2. according to this dude it gets to 60 a 5th of a second b4 the hellcat so 1/4 mile would prolly b close. It may have less power but depending on the gearing of each (wich i dont know) it may b the quarter mile quick king
The C6 Z06 stats are mixed in with stats from the C6 ZR1. There is also a ZR1 shot in there somewhere. The C6 ZR1 is definitely a Hellcat killer for less than/around the price too
I think the Cameron has a more bad azz look to it than the challenger however I like the west coast customs built one is amazing ! Now that's a beautiful car!
Brad, the Tesla P85D doesn't lose acceleration ability above 60 mph because of the lack of gears. The batter pack is designed to only allow pulse power for 3 seconds at a full 1500 Amp draw and then it drops to 1000 Amp draw until 10s (the 7 remaining seconds) and then the Amp draw drops to 225 for the 1C continuous discharge rate. The batteries that the Model S and X use are good for short bursts of performance but still protects the durability and range. Not only does the Taycan have a separate gear, but they use high max continuous discharge batteries, which allows them to draw more power consistently. That's why the Taycan can do lap after lap of performance without slowing down, but also has the worst efficiency of any EV.
I would pick a C6 Grandsport with about 10k in performance mods and a solid tune ;) I love and admire the Z06, but have been attached to Grandsports. Even though I have driven a lot of platforms and trims of both, I just am really looking for a Blue C6 Grandsport.

Dodge VIPER SRT, with twin calvo turbos, and add all extra available carbon fiber body parts, spoiler, ground kit, etc. IF YOU MOD IT OUT CORRECTLY, YOU SHOULD GET ABOUT 2500 HORSEPOWER..
It’s a great time to be a gear head in America. In the 90’s all we wanted to drive were the late 60’s muscle cars. Today I still have a spot in my heart for them but not in my driveway. To much reliable modern muscle getting twice the gas mileage while handling quite a bit better.
You can put just about any car on this list if you're going to say "now it doesn't beat a Heallcat stock but if you build the motor and boost it you'll kill the Hellcat."
id rather have the viper kill the corvette, not only did the vette kill the viper once but when the viper came back the vette killed it again and we have never see the snake again. also dodge cut out their "performance" division so don't look for the viper to ever come back unless its a cross over or something like Mitsubishi did with the eclipse.
Personally, I'd redo the same thing i did in 2003. I bought a used impreza, slapped in a bigger turbo, chip, intercooler and some little things, brought it to an expert in tuning to reprogram the computer to get the best power output for the componants that i had and BOOM! 0-60 in 3.0 flat, 650 HP subaru with a sound to die for (scorpion complete exhaust line). I cant remember how much i paid for the car, but the aftermarkets total was around $4.5K (yes, including EVERYTHING, even labor). The price of all the pieces didn't go up (its probably even lower), so is the price of the first year subaru that were legal here in NA (cant remember the exact year, mine was the Impreza GT, available only in europe; the predecessor of the WRX STI). You can have this kind of setup today, for less than 20K TOTAL. With Subaru reliability, 4WD for winter, and room for a family (or take the back seats out to put a mega custom built subwoofer like i did). What could you ask more?
2 things I have noticed in their videos.... 1: Cheap to them is bonkers expensive to most people 2: the cars they push tend to be priced out at one single web dealer and are priced 2-6 times higher than what I can find them for so my guess is they are trying to find the car idiots to purchase them at the connected internet dealer.
Most of the cars from their videos basically cost a lung just to maintain, too, and drink up tens of liters of fuel, so... "Cheap" is quite subjective here, I'd say, especially if you take maintenance into account
The Teslas leave everything in the dust... 100,000 in mods and get blown away... I used to sit at Bandamere Speedway and make a lot of money from the Mopar fans🤭
Actually a tesla produce 7.0 tons of carbon a year for a comparison a normal diesel motor produces 3.5 tons a year a gas motor produces around 2.7 and this has been proven by scientists.

The reason the Camaro ZL1 is cause Camaros with that Body design are all built for track use and cornering, not straight line drag races.
