My step dad and his whole family are Portuguese, and my mom and I trying our best to learn. I’m gonna send this to her, thank you so much😊 muito obrigado ❤️
I basically watched your whole video with my nose plugged - figured it would work for all the expressions 😆 It’s really confusing to remember phrases bc it’s so similar to Spanish! But so different when you actually hear it!
Be careful with the nasal sounds in PT...they are always soft. If you exaggerate with them, it sounds like if u had a cold...but soft nasal sounds are even more difficult to pronounce than hard ones...it's just a matter of practicing..
Ahah yes I know, I'm Portuguese :D. When teaching beginners, it's better to exaggerate sounds at first so they can hear it properly. Then overtime, they will soften the sounds :D
I’m literally watching this video because I’m going to go to Portugal next week for my first, time so id at least like to know some European Portuguese
Wow holy crap. I can’t believe my comment got a heart from a video that was posted 3 years ago on the same day I posted it. You’re welcome. And thanks I will.

I’m just getting started with European Portuguese so any extra EP content would be welcomed with open arms :)

Yeah, that's definitely my impression too regarding Spanish/Portuguese when you read vs hear it!
Ahaha I demand a recording of that :D
Try not to be tempted to make a meme out of my "Ola". But if you do, send me the links.

I've been waiting so long for this to exist!

Great. Please do more Portuguese language videos.
I have a little secret which is I'm considering doing a channel for learning Portuguese. I'm not sure yet when I'll manage that!
Keep it up man!! We're thankful for all the Euro Portuguese!
Good video. In Brazilian Portuguese we use the same expressions with the same meaning, so if you want to come here you can use it too.
Eu pensava que a gente no Brazil não dizia "Olà"? Até gostaria de saber!
