    When you demonstrate the pronunciation, you should repeat it 10 times, not just once. It is important for beginners.

    3:41 avô - the IPA for the a should be an upside down a, no?

      Exactly... in Portuguese from Portugal (the one being spooken here) you have that sound. In Brazilian Portuguese is /a/

      In Brazilian Portuguese is [ɐ] and in European Portuguese is slightly higher approaching [ɜ]. You can think of it as the English schwa, when it's in a stressed word it's going to sound more like the Brazilian version as in "nut", but in "again" the first "a" is like the European one. I hope it helps!

      Another thing you can do is write the timestamp in your comment for the sound you want to repeat, then click it to replay from that moment, which you can do as many times as you like
