Take it apart and put back together, I know the feeling. Removing the downpipe till I get an access port. I’m jealous at how clean the VB is (obviously with it being new) when I work on the Fozzy I have OCD to clean the engine bay and parts that can use a cleaning while working on it.

It helps financially when companies like Cobb and Perrin send you different mods to try out. As a daily driver I believe you should put on whatever mods on it you want as it makes personalized to your tastes.
It’s the same with my small business in the saltwater community. I’m an ambassador for a large company that operates world wide so they have helped me out tremendously.
I'm just thinking out loud, the rear upper arms that were .015 too wide could have been sanded down if you had a tabel mounted belt sander. I say this as there was a time when I needed a small amount of material removed from some side gears to work with my locker set up on a side kick rear end in my Samurai. So in the future that tool will make your life easier..

I tried eyeballing the rear camber on my VB and it made the car feel like a dog with 3 legs (I have the Whiteline "motorsports" rear lcas). Ended up calling out of work so I could pull them off and reset to factory length 😆
Exactly, I recently upgraded to Muteki lugs when I had my GR in a shop, I noticed one lug was missing when I bought it used and used one of the lugs I had for my Nissan Spec V on the Subie and the key fit was identical to the $100+ Muteki key. The lugs I bought was from when I had Rota make custom wheels for my Nissan nearly 10yrs ago...lol
Im pretty sure the wrx has an eccentric bolt on the other side of the rear LCA. Its probably only good for like 1-1.5 degrees of adjustment but should have been enough to reset the camber. The lower comtrol arms are cool, but probably didnt need them for this particular use case.
Honestly so glad the OEM wing is back on the STI… but honestly, hear me out. What if the carbon wing was painted WRB? And leave the side winglets exposed

The wind no longer vibrated anf flexed at higher speeds. 2. The handling felt a bit different afterwards. 3. I just like how they look.

I mean the dealer is cool but best tire on pacific does good alignments and will warranty it for a year so next time you do something to your car you just get it done free. At least that's what I did when I still lived up there.

The first few sentences of this are just so it. I started with just my intake and exhaust with my tuner while my friend had one more done up and on flex and I just started going for it. Here I am missing hpfp injectors and a intake manifold about to run e60 (Ik hpfp bad) and there’s still so much more I want to do

Every Perrin part for the VB requires some kind of permanent modification to the car. It’s really weird. Even their shift stop, one of the simplest mods you can do to a WRX, requires trimming on the stock shift lever. Strange design choices from Mr. Perrin considering all the competitors achieve the same results from their parts without requiring any trimming whatsoever.
Normally I do a full fluid flush on my G12 STI then a full one on my truck, then I fix what is broken. Then I go to upgrade the vehicle but the bank account is empty. Lol 😢

What I would like to see tested is water injection, long term, and would it eliminates or at least reduce significantly carbon build, which might be the elephant in the room with direct injection. Also to see how well water injection works to reduce combustiion/exhaust gas temperatures with all those potential advantages. I would like to do a fast "The Big Lap" around Australia one day in a JB WRX. That is aproximatly 10,000 miles or 16000 kilometers. The world record is 6 days 9 hours.

That looks like the rear is about -1.5 degrees camber. My rear was a little less than that, but I know for a fact my front camber was the that value. Unfortunately for me, I know all too well what you're describing with the rear alignment. I had one of my rear toe arms explode a heim joint, and another arm on the opposite side had the heim joint snap the thread. I think it's called a traction arm on the Nissan, it wasn't the camber arm that shit the bed. Either way, the one that snapped got a new replacement heim cause apparently that was a design flaw and I already had them sent to me free, the other pair I replaced with a set of new SPL arms that were like triple the price. Eventually I'll get SPL for the other two pairs but it's not feasible right now. Long story not so short, on an eyeball alignment it's wonky as fuck right now, I just won't drive it (and I need two sets of tires bad). The bad alignment completely roasted my rear Pilot Super Sports driving it the bare minimum for about 6 months. Local alignment places won't touch it cause I have aftermarket parts, so fuck them. My friend put the arms & coilovers on at his old workplace (he could use it when they were closed on weekends privately), and we pulled it onto the alignment rack and got it done in like 20 minutes. These shops flat out refuse to do it and give me the excuse that their machine only has stock parameters, it's lowered, etc etc. Bull-fucking-shit. I originally had it aligned on the same fucking rack you guys have. I can't find anyone close that'll do it, sure I know of some places like 45m-1hr away but I can't go above like 55mph, I can't hit the highway. The car feels wild at that speed how it is now. I took it out last year right before a minor snow storm, I damn near looped the thing on Blizzaks at like 30mph on "dry" pavement because of the piles of salt they were putting down preparing for the snow... bear in mind the Blizzaks were the only thing that kept me safe in a nasty snow storm a few years before that when I had a bad abs sensor so the car was rwd, no tcs, no abs, no vdc, traction control, nothing. For me to almost loop in such a benign situation is baaaad...
I've never understood the reasoning for shops not wanting to touch cars with after market suspension. Like you have MORE Adjustability to be able to dial in the alignment. Luckily shops over here don't typically care too much. Sounds like a real PIA where your at

The last place I went to I'm assuming thought I just put the stuff on recently, not the case, I had multiple catastrophic failures that threw it out of whack. It's been aligned at a very reputable shop with no problem... the issue is my friend hasn't worked there in like 3-4 years and it's another one of those shops 45m away that I kinda need to use the highway for. So in summary, fuck GK Tech for putting me in this situation with faulty products.

Classic spline lug nut. I see a million of them as a lube tech at ford, they're a lot more common than you'd think. Especially on lifted trucks.
It's so addictive adding mods. I started with cold air intake and a Cobb access port.......over $20. 000.00 later I'm still buying....LOL

I have that shifter plate on my ‘20 WRX, easily one of my favorite mods
I have the same suspension minus the toe arms and I have perfect toe, you don’t need them. Factory adjustment is perfectly fine.

It's been aligned at a very reputable shop with no problem... the issue is my friend hasn't worked there in like 3-4 years and it's another one of those shops 45m away that I kinda need to use the highway for.
So in summary, fuck GK Tech for putting me in this situation with faulty products.
