@eliezergutierrez2472 I'd get T0 or SS-1. KWs have more suspension travel than FAs. Also RCE sent a refined damper profile to KW for their lineups, unlike FA uses generic damper profile for all their FA500.
Thanks for the code. A few questions - did you get those 500s w/the standard spring or the upgraded spring? If upgraded, what value, 7k, 8k, 9k, etc? On final torque, shouldn't it be done when the car is on the ground w/ the suspension loaded? You should also report back what the back camber looks like w/the stock arm and the adjustable arm.
Had the worst experience with Fortune Auto, first they shipped to my billing address, even though I gave correct shipping address. Coilovers state preload is not to be touched. Found out the preloads were incorrect from a 2nd look from a performance shop. it’s even written on my invoice “preload incorrect” it’s been a money pit
I want to get some coilovers for my GR86 and you probably do the best step-by-step videos I've seen, really easy to follow along if you're new to this like myself. After you get the ride height where you want it, do you take it to a special alignment shop? Or just your standard tire store?
Hey Kevin I have a 19 wrx which would you recommend between the Racecomp engineering superstreet 1 coilovers and the fortune auto 500 coilovers for a daily coilover that can do occasional track driving?
Hi Kevin. I want to go the same ride height as yours, so you started with 106mm what was the final numbers on front and rear? Thank you for sharing. That would save us a tonnnnnn of time dialing. I can’t thank you enough with all your quality videos specially for us beginners
Hey! Got a VB myself currently on springs… looking to upgrade. Do these need rear lower control arms? I’ve seen some different answers online. I daily drive this at the moment. Roughly 3k miles a month. Looking to do a 1.5” drop in back and 1.4” in front. And no track use at least for a couple of years. Thoughts? Thanks man!
The WRX (base model) comes with Digressive valving, OEM.
Even then, I felt the ride could be harsh depending on road conditions.
Just need driving impressions and a comparison to the RCE on the GR86!
Please😊
Not a fan of FAs. I have a set of 510s for my second gen, it rode horrible on track or on street. My latest RCE SS-Rs are amazing. my 2 cents
Ill see what I can do although it's not an apples to apples comparison due to the many other mods on the gr86.
@@VinRZ I’m debating between RCE-Tarmac Zero and SS1 coilovers and the Fortune Auto 500

Thanks for the isntall video.. have had these in my garage for 2 months lol.. waiting for the weather to clear.
Nows the time!
I love your clear meticulous instructions that you've always had. Keep it up!
How did you set the camber plates? Did you just leave them at o degrees and let the alignment shop set them.
I left them at where they came until I get it aligned.
@@KevinVo OK thank you. I’m getting ready to put the 510 series on my Mustang GT so I didn’t know where I should set it.
@@philnorcross8973 you could eyeball it and just ensure you're not rubbing so you can make it to the alignment shop
How’s the ride quality lowering springs vs coil overs?
Wish they made these for the GS. I wonder if they are more comfortable than Teins 🤔
What were your torque specs for rear Lca?
A soon as you changed the coilovers does it need the alignment right away? Thanks
are you going to upgrade the brake kits?
Perfect video! I'm in the market for my VB. Thanks for the upload.
Happy to help!!

Sounds like a you problem ngl

Yes, just take it to an alignment shop you trust after you have the ride height set.
What were your final gauges (in between collars)front and rear. Ty

Can you share the final measurements on front/back adjustments? Thanks
How low can you go before the body hits the tire and rubs the fender. When the coilovers compress? What a minimum safe distance from tire to fender?
There's not a magic number because there are so many variables. It will depend on your wheel/tire setup, and alignment.
when are you gonna restock the carbon fiber key fobs on your website 😔🙏🙏🙏
Kevin, I have hard time believing that these coilovers are the best... better than Öhlins or Bilstein...???
Me too
ohlins are for sure better
How this compare to ohlins
Very good video🎉
Hey Kevin, I ordered a set for my VB. Did you make any length adjustments to the front sway bar end links?
So did you install this brand because they sent them to you for free or?

They dont need lower control arms but if you lower your car any more than 1.25 inches youll start to get a negative camber from the factory struts.
This video reminds me of Chris Heria "So thats our warm up" as im on the ground. "Entry level Coilovers" -Check Price- 1890 buckeroos
A part of me was a bit worried you were gonna say BC Coilovers 💀
🤣🤣🤣
Hi Kevin
Hi!
best coilovers are Ohlins.
Fortune auto is a joke. I had 10k miles on and now it sounds like the front passenger suspension has water splashing on bumps
