When I bought my brand new 1984 GMC K2500HD 6.2 diesel, a topnotch diesel mechanic told me.. “Use the correct oil. Use GM oil filters.Change oil and filters at 3K miles. Never put the truck into gear until it’s warmed up. Use Power Service in every tank of fuel. I followed his advice and at 358k miles, that truck is still running like a swiss watch.
Incorrect. For every product he also includes a negative feature about the product, such as 'the bottle is poorly designed' or 'this isn't designed for passanger vehicles'.
It isn't even someone reading claims. It is an AI synthesizing information it got from scraping the web. Watch till the end, it gets the product confused and starts talking about a surge protector in the last review.
No-one ever tests MOTOR PURR's diesel additive. Been around 55-years, and still packaged in GLASS bottles because it is so strong. It is the only diesel additive recommended by the Canadian Used Truck Dealer's Association.
Howes Meaner and Cleaner is for farm and off road equipment. For your truck, use Howes Diesel Defender. Use in conjunction with Howes Diesel Treatment in the cold months.
I have always used Lucas fuel treatment it worked the best and made the most power and never ever had injector problems on my 2000 Dodge 2500 diesel and it went for $250,000 me with no issues at all love the Dodge awesome
Do you guys listen to your own videos? Here's a tip: put on headphones, and listen from the beginning. Voice over loudness: normal. Then all of a sudden, loud AF intro with heavy bass. Had to immediately yank headphones out to prevent ear damage. Rest of the video? no idea, didn't listen after. Could've been good info in there , maybe, but I'll stick to reading text next time.
Howes works great for cold weather….. And it’s great with the water that could possibly be in the fuel but when it comes to lubrication the stuff is absolute garbage is actually worse than untreated diesel in terms of friction testing
not paid promotions. this is a bot synthesizing information from the internet. they're getting paid through ads or however youtube works, but these 10 comapnies aren't paying this bot to recite this information
This channel is pathetic... 1st. it's a computer voice which is suspicious. 2nd it's obvious they just searched up a bunch of popular additives and combined a bunch of talking points from advertising etc... Absolutely 0 testing or research of the products. 3rd. it's just a infomercial for the top 2 products on the list and last but not least they didn't even mention Stanadyne which is the pioneer of diesel additives and designed for the most part the whole diesel injector industry many many years ago.
I don't stick with one, I use them all in rotation. also - #10 is screwed up because there isn't a human that reviews this video. It's made by AI, and the program got the product confused at the end. Theres probably a surge protector with that same product name
@@dirf554 I use PS in a 2012 MACK and I get better performance, less noise, and better mpg. Less DEF use and less regen cycle times. But HOT SHOT is the best for performance and mpg.

This isn’t a review at all. It’s just someone reading the label and manufacturer’s claims. No real comparison from one product to another.
thats what I was thinking... i skimmed through the entire vid... same story book.

yeah, this vid is full of bs; even the voice is as fake as the "review"

no - they don't listen to them. they are created by AI - that is the point to take the human out of the equation

Fuel OX is the best.
ATF.
I was just asking if you can still use ATF in these new engines with all the sensors?.
That's what I used all the time in my older rigs.
This was a great video until the bot started talking about surge protectors all of a sudden

Power Service is one of the worst...
Hmmm 🤔 I’ve been using it for years and haven’t had any issues with my engine. I drive a VW TDI
