Bought a 2023 Agate black V8. in December 2023. Love it. You forgot to say the hood is exclusive to the tremor and all the ford emblems are black not blue.
Totally right. I cut out the slits to make them more functional. They kinda are functional but not really.
Just retired my 2012 FX4 with 141k miles and took ownership of a 2023 Tremor Avalanche 402a. At my age, it will probably be the last vehicle I will ever buy and wanted something I could truly enjoy, and so far, it's met all my expectations!
You sir have made a great purchase. I loved that truck and miss it all the time. I removed the hood vents and made them true vents. Easy to remove cut an put back on. I found that the heat soak in the turbos kills power in these trucks. Texas got a little too hot for my taste. Cold air intake and open the hood vents helped. I was going to get a better intercooler too. Just a bit of info if you notice loss of power in summer.
Great review and you nailed the segment. It is better than advertised for sure. I came from a 18 F150 Platinum 3.5L. My Tremor is as nice or nicer on the inside. The ride is awesome and love the Raptor legacy parts. But- the 3.5L is a absolute monster and is much quicker than my 18. Love the dual exhaust and gearing as this truck will move. I think Ford nailed it w/the rims and tires. Get questions about it as well. Best truck I’ve owned.

Got a 22 tremor. This truck is outstanding. Especially blue cruise. My other car is a 18 911 GT3
I've had mine for 3 months now and I feel pretty much exactly how you reviewed it, really nice to see after 3 years you still feel the same way! I call the Tremor " The Gentleman's Truck" all the off road capability you'll ever need, with all the luxurious interior, I haven't sat in a more comfortable vehicle than this truck 😎

I traded my 2013 FX4 for my 2023 Tremor. You are so right. The Tremor is a giant leap in tech, comfort, and looks over my 2013.

I just bought my 2nd one (2023) 402A 3 days ago on 11/30/23. Carbon gray. 1st one was silver and I put an Auto Spring 2” spacer in front really looked awesome !!!I’ll do it to my 23 also. Never had issues even off road. Just took things a little easier. The only thing I don’t like is the rake they come with. But that’s a cheap easy fix. Never had an issue. Thanks for the video. ✌🏻

Is the 26 gal tank standard and the 36 gal tank an option? I currently have a 2012 FX4 with the 36 gal tank and love having the range with the larger tank.
It’s an option now.
I always say the tremor is a raptor that can tow.
Facts
Cool vid, good conversation. We don't get the F-150 in South Africa(where I am). We have the Ranger series. Heard that the Ranger Raptor will be launching in America soon. It's basically peak truck outside of America since we don't get the full on Raptor. You think you'd ever consider the Ranger Raptor over your Tremor?
So for us in the US, the Ranger is considered a “mini” truck due to its size. I must say I almost bought a Ranger a few years ago and have really been looking at the new ranger raptor. It looks like a great truck with tones of potential. Do you have one?
@@VisionT7 my brother has one. It's really nice. 390 odd horse power goes a long way to making it a really fast truck. Tons of off road capability with fox suspension and front and rear diff locks. Despite the aggressive nature it's suprisingly compliant on the road. Powerful V6 when paired to the 10 speed gearbox is an absolute joy. Interior quality is good as well. Overall I think a good package. I must say though that the fuel/gas consumption is horrendous😂. That's the only downside, and in this economy it's quite hard. My brother's even considering swapping it back in for a ranger wildtrack. Which is a diesel, less powerful engine and only a rear lock diff but gets the job done.

Is it heavy on gas?
Actually not as bad as you would think. I averaged 21. In town was around 17 an freeway I could hit 27+ depending on speeds
