      It's a very young seagull. Young seagulls are greyish colour and when their fully grown they turn bright white. It's a male seagull that's about 1 or 2 month old.

    This is Denice (daughter in the video). I am SO HAPPY that our story is being shared...literally all over the globe! My mom and dad raised four children and did a damn good job providing for all of us. My mom died in 1988 at the age of 44. Dad was left to raise my third brother and I as a single parent. He sacrificed so much working midnights full-time and we did our best to carry on without my mom. A part of my dad died when mom passed. Then dad started having health issues and to make life even harder, my brother Zane passed in 2004 at the age of 32. Another piece of dad went with him. I know comment sections on TH-cam are open to public responses from viewers who can only comment on what they are seeing but do not have any history on the back story. It's easy for keyboard warriors online to post crass remarks saying it's a shame to see a car end up like the Monte did but there is ALWAYS a back story and often times it's because life has knocked the wind and will out of a person. I'm thankful that my dad is still with us! He's 81 now. He proudly served our Nation during the Vietnam era too! He loved his wife, loved and raise his four children into adulthood and made sure we all were raised to be valuable members of society. To have WD Detailing and Cleveland Power and Performance pour their hearts and souls into this project leaves me unable to find the right words to express my gratitude! For those in my generation, love on your parents, mend whatever may be broken and let them feel what my dad has in this video.They are worth it! My Dad is WORTH it! ❤🇺🇸❤

Then the next year my sister got a white 85 Monte Carlo SS new off the line. The following summer we took a family vacation road trip with my mom and dad and my sister and her husband in both of the cars. My dad retired from General Motors and passed away in 2014. Seeing this car makes me appreciate my 87 SS 10x more. drove it 200 miles last month when I went on a small road trip and it handled it like a champ, no problems at all, still original motor and interior. I would never sell my car in a million years. 🎉

    • @travispoulin252
      @travispoulin252 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      Definitely appreciate it. I had an 87 SS Aerocoupe with T-tops that I bought my senior year in high school in 2003. But sadly had to sell it like 5 years later because I needed the money to survive. I still regret it to this day.
      When I purchased It, it had been sitting under the trees in a neighbors yard for a few years and was covered in dirt, leaves, moss and mold and the white paint was barely visible under it all. It didn't run but only had 60k original miles and the interior was dusty but mint. The owner said it ran when he parked it but not well and only had it a couple years before he parked it and didn't really know much about it other than it was rare because of the Aerocoupe, and sold it to me for $3,500.
      We towed it home and got it running again by just cleaning the contacts in the distributor. Then came the full cleaning which took forever but it looked brand new when I was done. Then as we dove deeper we found out it had a 4 barrel Holly carb and an Edelbrock intake manifold, aftermarket distributor and the computer and emissions were deleted. Then on the first drive the trans shifts very hard and fast and we realize it's even got a shift kit installed. Then we find out that it's got a posi rear end which was not standard on the ss and either optioned that way or added later. We also suspected that it had other internal modifications done as well like a cam as it had a bit of a chop at idle and who knows what else because we never had a reason to look deeper but the main evidence there was possibly more done is that it was fast. Like way faster than a stock n/a 305ho by quite alot. I have no idea what power it made but stock is 180hp and my friend had a 93 mustang gt with intake and exhaust and stock they made 245hp so his was probably 260hp maybe and had the lighter cobra wheels and a fiberglass cowl hood which would put his car close to 700 lbs lighter than mine and we were dead even in a race until over 100 and I would start to pull away just a bit. Best guess was that it was around 300hp and even more torque.
      I even put the tires off my dad's 81 corvette on it that were way wider than factory and it was still a burnout monster. My favorite story is when my friends uncle was talking shit and saying "it's only a 305 and they're shit and I needed to get a 350 before I'd stand a chance to his car." Then he pointed at the burnout marks his car made down the road and said "With those wide ass tires I bet it can't even do a little burnout" He ate his words that day. I power braked it for a second and then let off the brake and took off down the road in the longest smokiest burnout any of us had ever seen. It was probably an 8th of a mile long. He tried saying I just power braked it in first the whole way but we walked down the street and you could see a break in the marks where it shifted to second and then third.
      It was also the fastest I have ever been in a car but because the speedo stops at 115 I have no idea how fast it was but I had it pinned for awhile past that and it became very floaty and apparently that happens around 140-150.
      Sorry for the long story but I rarely find another person with love for an 87 ss I can share my stories with. When did you get yours?

    Been watching you guys for a couple years now. I lost my grandfather a few months ago. Just before he passed he got into a vehicle accident and totaled his truck. He needed a vehicle badly and he traded his 06 Harley Davidson Heritage Softail Classic for a new truck with a good friend of ours. After his passing I detailed his Harley in my garage and over the course of a week we went through everything on the bike. When we pulled it back out into the sunlight for the first time it took me back to my childhood days when I would see him pull up to my house on it. I was in tears when I seen the paint glitter and shine while the chrome reflected perfectly. I wish he was around to see it. I’m the only detailer to ever touch that bike other than himself. I still have extra parts and I’m the only detailer the bike goes too. The story of this Monte Carlo in the video hits hard. I’m so glad those people found WD Detailing. You guys do an amazing job. If anyone’s curious the bike is posted up on my TikTok Mello Dynamics.

    All I can say is "Wow" but wow doesn't even describe true words. I myself own a 1987 Monte Carlo SS Aerocoupe & am the original owner buying it brand new. It is my dream car & seeing this video really struck home. Mine is silver with t-tops & I truly enjoy driving it. My only wish that GM could've done better when they built these Montes is to have a 350 under the hood instead of the 305. My Aerocoupe under went a restoration to preserve my baby since it was my only means of transport so I couldn't let this car go to the scrapper. My only other dream car would be another Monte Carlo SS. Thanks for the video-really enjoyed it!

    Back in 1991 when I was 21, I had a black '81 Monte that had this same exact color interior with the same bucket seats. Didn't have the floor shifter as it was a column shift automatic & the only exterior differences were that mine had no rear deck wing, no side ground effects and the standard Monte Carlo nose. I remember at one point I had paint masked the car off and sprayed all the exterior chrome bits ( minus the rims ) so the whole car was just jet black, looked so badass, kinda like a Gran National.
    Seeing this car come back to life reminds of my own & sure brings back some great memories with it. Thanks so much for detailing this car so well guys, you're the best!😁👍

    Wife's first new car she purchased the day she was commissioned as a "butter-bar" 2nd Lt. in the USAF was an '84 Monte Carlo with the 305 in it. Did all the maintenance on it myself but for new transmission at 150,000. Lifetime "brakes forever" at the old Trak-Auto replaced 5 times over 350,000 miles and I would show them an old, oily, illegible receipt and the manager would just shake his head, smile and say, "Oh, it's you again!" and give me my next set of pads until they went out of business in 1999. All my neighbors got to know my legs sticking out from under her on jack stands while walking their dogs on weekends! Plenty of fond memories. Sold it for $500 as body was still in excellent shape in 2002 the year after Dale Earnhardt died to be restored to a guy from Pennsylvania.
