They can be tight, loose, or perfect from the factory. Best to check so you know for sure and can make adjustments if needed. When the vale’s are loose, they get louder. Try to have both in the 0.03 to 0.04 range
The only thing that you will notice with tight valves is it can be hard to start or harder. i prefer mine tight and quiet. It will loosen as the engine warms up anyway..

ive heard the valves on this bike are too tight from factory. i have a brand new one and i feel like i hear ticking, not sure what to do
