Also, the Beast Wars cartoon draws more than just the G1 cartoon, but from every form of media before it, even the short-lived Machine wars line. That is partly the reason why the writers made it as myth and legend when they were talking about the events of G1. @@The-kr9rb They are. That been said. Megatron would've return to debris where Cybertron one had been. Without the Autobot Matrix of Leadership to defeat him (assuming all Autobots were destroyed) Unicron would've devoured Cybertron.
@@GESSO217 I will note, when the timestorm began after Optimus Prime was wounded, Megatron seemed completely unaffected. This could mean a few things; the Matrix of Leadership isn't necessarily destroyed with Prime, or it's simply possible that the Decepticons under a victorious Megatron may have found some other way to save themselves, unlikely as that might seem. More likely it's the former; the Matrix of Leadership isn't lost just because Prime got headshot'd. But by the time he's piloting the Nemesis to destroy the Ark while quoting the Covenant of Primus, Megatron's sorta gone off the deep end and isn't really considering the consequences anymore. The fact that he wasn't affected by the first time storm, combined with the fact that he is safely carrying G1 Megatron's Spark means that Predacon Megatron is convinced he can safely destroy the Ark with no harm to himself. The idea of "what will they do about Unicron", while it's possible he considered that angle at first and was possibly among the reasons he was reluctant to carry out the plan at first, he's definitely not thinking about that part anymore by the end.

I don’t understand what Megatron would do if he went back to cybertron especially as his hopes would be crushed as the might of the decepticon army would crush him and invade his ship only to laugh at his height and then defeat him
Time travel. By assuring the decepticons win in the past, this Megatron is taking a risk, but, I'm pretty sure the Predacons are descended from the Decepticons.
@@The-kr9rb They are. That been said. Megatron would've return to debris where Cybertron one had been. Without the Autobot Matrix of Leadership to defeat him (assuming all Autobots were destroyed) Unicron would've devoured Cybertron.
@@GESSO217 yea
3:26 so even with Megatron’s spark, he’s still small compared to full size Autobots and Decepticons?
No when primal and Megatron were upgraded to their third transmetal forms ( Transmetal 2 in Megatrons case) they only grew bigger than the average predacon and maximal they were never the same size as an autobot or decepticon
This thing is a monster in the larger role of the lore, keep in mind that certain cybertronians the size of Devastator himself could walk freely inside this thing,
Its makes the Gloriana-class Battleship from Warhammer 40K and the Eclipse-class Super Star Destroyer look tiny,
At the height of its power, this warship led the Decepticon Armada in a bloody conquest across galaxies, nr beyond count were annihilated,
Megatron: Alright Dinobot, let's get Nemesis ready to form Voltron.
Dinobot: Um, wrong cartoon.
7:05 Then the Pearl of Bahudin (a power core for the Cybertronian weather controlling machine) was seperated from the Nemesis.
Megatron getting all Biblical.
It scares me when transfirmers snap their fingers XD
* *plink!* *
1:20 did he just said the covanent of Primus ???
LORD ALPHA - Yeah. It’s the Transformers’ version of the Bible.
Yes. He read only the good parts.
Yeah and it looked like a paper book... that seems weird to me that robots have paper literature of anything.
@@cobaltprime9467 Alpha Trion wrote them

I loved this as a kid! Still do. 😎
Dinobot2 must be like
Ok please stop quoting text, OMP im soo gonna betray you
Beast Wars got real good in the last season.
6:36 Imagine if G1 Megatron and the other Decepticons manage to excavate the whole ship in the 1984 cartoon. And Megatron see what happened to the windshield.
I love the music when Nemesis rises.
So nice had to say nemesis twice😮
Megatron the original one was a direct offspring of life maximo
millions of years later, archeologists find the nemesis in peru
That would have been a good idea for the finale of rise of the beasts. I still the loved the actual final battle though.
@@WorthyGibbonThat would have complicated the plot while also being somewhat derivative. Transit was already cut for tonal and narrative cohesion, so I have my doubts. Honestly the Peru setting is reference enough.
pulp fiction reference, nice
I know
Theyre both quoting the Bible
Am i the only one amazed by how that ships still working???
Tarantulas fixed it, then modified it
legendary breaker it’s advanced alien tech, it was likely made to withstand the elements
The Transformers themselves along with the Ark were still functioning after slamming head first into a volcano and laying there for over 4 MILLION years, not really a surprise that the Nemesis is also still online. Plus, Tarantulas fixed it up a bit.
To see the next episode with the "Nemesis", look up G1 episode: "Microbots"
Rhinox : that's for my arm megajerk
I can't decide if Megatron quoting scripture is a Pulp Fiction reference or not.
Shadowkey392 it has to be, because Ezekiel 25:17 isn't a real piece of scripture
Yiorgios Vazouras huh. Interesting.
Yiorgios Vazouras yes it is
Yiorgios Vazouras
It is too a bible passage. It's just the final part that Samuel Jackson quotes. The whole thing about the path of the righteous man and such is not part of that passage however.
Interesting to note is that the whole passage is originally stated to come from a Sonny Chiba movie that says it's Ezekiel 25:17
Shadowkey392
Is that a robot holding a freaking "BOOK?"
Axe Hammer
The world is gonna END!!! 0-0
OH NO! HE HAS A BOOK! HE’S GOING TO READ! RUN!!!
What Megatron is reading is: how to beat a prime 101
Axe Hammer It's the Covent of primus.the christian bible in our world but there bible in there universe.alot of qoutes Megatron read off can be found in the bible
They show the inside, it's actually 2 cassette tapes
The g1 transformers were huge in comparison to their descendants.
It was called The Great Upgrade. The upgrade emphasized fuel efficiency from reduced size. As Megatron called the Autobots and Decepticons as archaic energon guzzlers!
and this is how beast wars started
I'd love to see a Masterpiece Transmetals 2 Megatron figure. :)
Stephen John French Oh hell yes!
Nice! :D
STEVO _ IN _ CHRIST lets not forgot optimal optimus as well :D btw have you seen the masterpiece 1 bw megatron.it looks so good
Perfect Effect already did one
And if they wanted to make an Optimal Megatron (aka Megatron’s final form in Beast Machines) they’d need to remold the face and ditch the gorilla mode
Megatron seems to forget that his descendants are inside the Ark too. If he destroyed them, he would not have existed either
I think you mean ancestors, but I see your point. The dude was going on a power-trip near the end and probably forgot that detail...
Yes he would cuz he forget about that because if he destory the ark he also destroy the autobots and the Decepticons no doubt that the original Megatron would be destroy as ending and erasing bw Megatron witch means no autobots and no decepticons and no maximals and Predacons and no cybertron as well.
@@VictorPerez-hg2ed Beast wars megatron has the spark of G1 Megatron in his body at the time seen in this video
Daniel Sausaman well that is true my friend.
By this point, he had just completely lost it
If Megatron could have harnessed being a massive ham into a weapons system, he would have been unstoppable.
2:50 This Megatron went full Shao Kahn/Shinnok if their villainous plan and laughing maniacally and evilly in the process of completion of their conquest of the universe had succeeded.
Lol when you think your watching a cartoon but it's a angry preacher talking about the apocalypse 😂
Man I hate it when I’m enjoying a cartoon then an angry preacger starts yelling about how end times are coming and we’re all gonna die. Really ruins a tuesday 😤
Knowing the nemesis is powered by heart of Cybertron it’s no wonder Tigerhawk was killed easily.
Now if only Megatron can recite Ezekiel 25-17
They went against g1 time line
To be fair, that was Beast Wars Megatron's plan. Try to alter history so the Deceptions would win the war against the Autobots. Thankfully, the Maximals prevented that.
Finish the quote, Megatron. “Nor would he surrender.”
How I would love to pilot that magnificent and powerful ship. Many times I imagine using it to revolutionize the ruined country, in which I did not choose to be born.
Transformers Generation One The Nemesis is still My Second Favorite Version of The Nemesis only outranked by Transformers The Aligned Continuity Version of The Nemesis. Throughout Transformers G1 may have been The Nemesis Introduction but Transformers Beast Wars where The Nemesis got its Name and Truly became Iconic.
That's great and all that the Maximals and maybe the Predacons know how their ancestors crash landed on Earth but did their history records ever tell of a THIRD SHIP THAT CAUSED THE SHIPS TO FALL?!
Doing the whole star wars thing at the end hahaha
Wait..... does he straight up quote pulp fiction....?
When did he quote Pulp Fiction? I've only seen the movie once so I definitely missed it.
@@saviitrius Think he's referring to the speech Samuel L. Jackson's character gives before he shoots his victims.
@@Gofr5 I definitely gotta watch that movie again then
Theyre both quoting the Bible
This was and always will be my favorite Transformers Series.
I wish they would revisit Beast Wars. I had hopes when the movie was announced but they kinda ruined it 😢
Are the events that led up to the Ark and Nemesis crashing on Earth portrayed in G1 of any other Transformers series?
Beast Wars is a prequel to G1, and technically the last TV series ever produced in that continuity.
Megatron should say cybertron history
Why those ships don't have any shield defense system? :/
the ark was hurriedly built by the autobots so they could flee the war, so basically the ark is nothing but a big freighter. But I can not say why the Nemesis has no shield, perhaps because after the break the decepticons did not have enough energon for this, but I'm not sure.
Three possible reason for the nemesis.
1. Not enough energon to activate it
2. Megatron didn't now how to use it.
3. It was damaged during the crash.
@@johnmarston853 the Nemesis spent God knows how many years rotting in the ocean and was kind of ramshackled into usable condition by a psychotic spider robot. Its not that big of a stretch to say the shield was just broken.
Plus, they were only dealing with like 6 tiny robots vs a starship. They probably didnt expect much resistance. Also Tarantulas died so maybe he wasn't quite finished yet?
I mean, they're lots of reasons to suspect we're not seeing the Nemesis at 100% here so I'm not super critical of it
with how much both Japan and the Hasbro have added to TF lore and even went so far as to try and retrofit newer pieces of lore to older media
i wonder if both Beast Wars Megatron and G1 Megatron took their name from the Megatron mentioned in the Covenant of Primus and if that Megatron was in fact The Fallen, Megatronus Prime
3:54 Oh Yeeeesss
3:23 I can now only imagine Megatron in Pulp Fiction in Samuel L Jackson's place, just to see the changes that would occur lol
...Did Megatron just make a "pulp fiction" reference?
What does Megatron look like?!? Does he look like a bitch?!?
It was insane that megatron found this. I almost thought he was gonna win. He did in a way anyway but that was later I guess.
Cool stuff
😢 Tigerhawk nooo...
Is that a submarine on tracks? 0:40 reminds me of Disney land ride… finding Nemo submarine voyage
I'd have loved to see these in Prime
I need that ship.
Spoiler alert transformers kingdom: dinobot destroy the nemesis
Your wish is now granted thanks to Legacy.
I really wanted Optimal Optimus to outright BEAT Megatron's ass after Tigerhawk's death. And do a little Destruction number on the Nemesis itself as well.
The dude DID get his power from Prime's spark after all.
Sadly, season 3 is unwatchable for me now because seeing Optimal constantly get humiliated was insulting and depressing.
That's because optimal Optimus was OP, so that writers would have to take him out of a lot of the episode so there would be stakes. Or it would just be Optimus solving everything
@@Googaliemoogalie Then they should've saved his debut for AFTER Tigerhawk's death.
Plus Rhinox sadly got sidelined too. He needed a new Transmetal 2 body as well. Like a giant bot that's got more bulk than Optimal but not as tall. A heavily armor3d rhino, and a form where he's like a bog siege tank that shoots insanely powerful energy blasts.
Trade off would be his speed is lacking conpared to Optimal.
1:50 - (Text translate to RED DWARF) Looks like it wasn't the Nemesis =P
Beast wars g1 cliffjumper and bumblebee
okay.... if that ship was shot down and spent what I'm assuming to be at least hundreds of yeas in the ocean then how the hell did it still work?
Transformers clearly build things to last. Plus it's mentioned in the video above that Tarantulas did some repair work.
oh,.....really it was repaired?well then I retract my former statement
Your not the only one who was questioning that...
At the time Megatron and Primal arrived on Earth the Ark and Nemesis had just recently crashed.
@@ZeroCanalX no I say a few thousand years later when the Maximals and predacons arrived
