Ravage was so badass in Beast Wars. It was so cool to see him again after G1. Also if your sad about his "death" i believe he was revived in the comics
I think it was the Binaltech comics where scientists discovered Ravage's ship and forced them to make him a new body where he then altered the events of the movie by placing the entire Decepticon army in a pocket dimension leaving the Autobots to face Unicron all alone and then once he was defeated bring the entire army back to wipe out the weakened Autobot forces and it worked until one flipped the switch to turn off all Transformers.
Ever notice how the guy on the right just looks and kinda sounds like a weird red megatron? I occasionally thought they'd go somewhere with that back in the day but they never did.
In one fan fiction, the Maximal 'council of elders' were converted Autobots, unsurprisingly they were G1 Ironhide, Prowl and Silverbolt, the three components of Magnaboss. Makes sense that the elders be 'Autobots', just too bad Beast Machines saw Cybertron decimated and the Predacons were a complete no show.
I didn't even think about that. Megatrons crew were nowhere near the only predacons, there were several of them so how come in beast machines they acted like Megatron was the only one?
Not a member, but like Ravage, he was an agent for the Council, a member of their secret police, which is why he joined Ravage. He and the Council were also said to be descended from Unicron’s Transformers instead of Decepticons so Megatron’s time travel shenanigans wouldn’t affect him
Obviously Ravage never had intentions of rescuing the Maximals, but what was his original plan after taking Megatron's life? would he just kill all the Maximals or strand them?
As Megatron said, "I am not naive. You have no intention of returning me, or any of us, to Cybertron alive." I'm guessing while Megatron was the primary target, Ravage's mission was to kill anyone who might threaten the Tripedicus Council's place in the timeline, including the Maximals.
I really dislike that we never got to learn more about these guys in Beast Machines, i imagine Megatron got his revenge on them when he took over, but it would have been nice to see them be official announce themselves as the spawn of Unicron in the series
I'm sure Ravage could have still being repaired after his ship exploded, but when his ship's missile hit Rampage, the second explosion should have damaged him beyond repair thus killing him definitely.
@@Dav-zy1dw On the part of ravage being repaired the udon comics covered that as an extra part of the storyline.Dont know if it got fully canon, they tried to add extra events before beast machines it even involved Leo convoy.bringing him into the American continuaty.

From The Agenda Part 1. Also technically these guys made it into the TV series from the toyline as they were sold as the Ultra Team Tripredacus. One of the best additions to the storyline was the Tripredacus Council and Ravage returning. Shame he met his demise in the process.
Cuz he knows Ravage, probably. He clearly has connections to higher maximal powers, especially since he was carrying Rampage's spark on an unassuming exploration vessel designed to jettison protoforms to uninhabited worlds. It's a shame this part of primal was never explored

It's curious what Tarantulos says on episode 50, that he and the Tripedacus Council are not descendants of the Decepticons and Autobots. I think the animators' original idea was to explain this in "Beast Machines" but since Hasbro and Mainframe produced "Beast Machines" with a different team from "Beast Wars", this idea ended up being forgotten.
My little fanon is that Tarantulas and the Tripredacus Council actually AREN'T the descendants of the Decepticons exactly, but rather the descendants of the G1 Insecticons, hence their preference for ingesting matter over direct energon refueling. They mistakenly believe they're the descendants of the Unicronian reformatted Decepticons, ergo the 'spawn of Unicron' epithet.

I once had an idea for a proper beast wars 2. So unlike in the original Megatron fails to break free of the shuttle. When the maximals return they are greeted by Lio Prime supreme commander of the maximals Optimus Primal’s mentor. During the debrief he reveals that the high council are suppressing what happened on earth because Megatron had become a symbol to the predacons. While this is going on three mysterious predacons free Megatron and hand him a device. Megatron and his liberators promptly escape. The maximal high council then sends Lio prime and primal along with a squad of elite guard to arrest Megatron and his allies. During the pursuit Primal recognizes Megatron allies as Scorpinok, Terrasaur, and Waspinator Primal is surprised because the three of them disappeared during the beast wars. Making a remark that Terrasaur and Scorpinok were lost during the transwarp wave and Waspinator was supposedly killed at the end of the beast wars. Ultimately the four elude the maximals. That would be part 1 of the premier. As the Predacons make their way to their target. The maximals allow primals troops to join the hunt since the elite guard have been outfoxed. There they figure Megatron is on his way to Vector Sigma realizing Megatron is planning something Cybertron wide the attempt to head him off. To late Megatron and his predacons made their way to Vector Sigma which is now a massive temple that oversees the creation of new transformers. Megatron and his predacons are shocked to discover Dinobot is there with guardians of Vector Sugma. During the clash the guardians are overpowered by the predacons with Megatron escaping into the central computer core. The maximals arrive and are surprised to see Dinobot. The Maximals then start fighting the predacons while primal and Lio prime confront Megatron. In the master control Megatron reveals to Primal the beast wars had a secondary objective that Megatron had been building towards. He had been intentionally using the maximals and predacons as test subjects into creating a new breed of cybertronian the transmetal 3’s. He reveals that primals accident and transwarp wave did exactly what it was supposed to do. Then after Primal absorbed primes energy inspired him to create the transmetal 2’s. Then he explains how he resurrected Terrasaur and Scorpinok as transmetal 3’s and instructed them to make their way to cybertron in the event of his defeat and await his arrival. As Megatron tries to shoot Optimus Lio prime jumps in the way taking the blow. Megatron then activates his device which emits a reformatting wave across the planet Terrasaur and Scorpinok grab Megatron and Waspinator and escape as they begin reformatting. Part 2 end Part 3: the maximals awaken after the reformatting. Take in their new forms. Rattrap is slightly bigger with a rat and car alt mode, black arachnia is now a helicopter spider, silverbolt is now a hover jet wolf eagle, rhinox is an hover tank rhino, cheetor is a race car cheetah, Dinobot is a raptor motorcycle, primal is actually back to his old size a jet monkey with his excess mass becoming a apex armor. Then when they take Lio prime back to cybertropolis for treatment Dinobot explains when he died he was reborn on cybertron at the well of all sparks saying he was told his time is not done. Lio Prime the summon primal then summons Optimus primal where he grants him the matrix of leadership telling him he will be the new supreme commander if the maximals. Part 3 end.

They definitely aren't afraid of him. If anything, they're looking down on him. While they acknowledge his skill, they also think he's too unpredictable to be the face of the Predacons, and that makes him more trouble than his talents are worth.
Megatron is too much of a wild card, because he acts on his own and isn't a team player that can't control and predict his actions despite them acknowledging that he's very brilliant. from what we learn the Predacons aren't treated well on cybertron, the Tripredacus council is trying to take advantage of this so they can seize power in service to their creator, Unicron, but because Megatron acts on his own it is causing the Maximal Elders to be more suspicious of them and makes it harder for the Tripredacus council to move about in secret. they don't fear him, they are annoyed with him

I’ve always suspected the Quintessons. The council wants to conquer Cybertron themselves and eliminate the Autobots, Decepticons, Maximals and Predacons all in one fell swoop as they partially orchestrated Megatron’s time shenanigans Beast Wars is a G1 continuity acting as a distant sequel to the original cartoon, meaning that the Quintessons most likely existed with the same backstory of creating the Cybertronians before their creations turned on them, and spending the next few millennia trying to overthrow them and rule Cybertron. Unicorn is already declared as the main villain, and given hasbro's track record with beast wars besides the original cartoon, their reimagined as contemporaries instead of future descendants!
there's something i never understood (or is it a script hole) It is assumed that the story takes place in the land of millions of years ago when cybertron was devastated and neither predacon nor maximal exist yet (and the G1 Transformers were asleep on earth), so how did the transmetal wave arrive at contemporary cybertron of the maximal and predacon? Perhaps it is the same wave that arrived millions of years later, there it would be understood ... but how were they able to send an Agent at the same time millions of years ago to the past?
The Trans-warp portal the cast used that made them end up on earth left a kind of portal that the wave used to arrived at cybertron in the future and when the Agent went to follow the source he hit the same portal and arrived in past earth.
Alr, i'll try to explain this The Tripedacus Council is indeed descended from Unicron, but it was actually Megatron who called Tarantulas "spawn of Unicron" that, however was simply his way of calling Tarantulas a SoB but was retconned due to many people misunderstanding that line

@@chrisedwards3214 Yes, this was the case with Ravage, Buzzsaw, and Laserbeak. Others like Thundercracker and Sinnertwin were war prisoners kept in containment. Divebomb and Razorclaw were underground insurgents
They’re evil since they planned on overthrowing the Maximals and reclaiming Cybertron. The only problem is that they’re very cautious about how they go about doing it. And other Predacons like Megatron and Magmatron think they plan too slowly. And any opportunity they have of retaking Cybertron will be far too late.
Something that never made sense about this. They keep talking about being able to track when the wave would reach Cybertron like it's in real time. But they traveled back in time to get to Earth in the first place and are thousands of years in the past relative to when they left Cybertron. They are completely out of sync with the normal timeline so if the wave reached Cybertron when they said it did then it would be thousands of years before they ever left, before the Maximals and Predicons were even around. If the Wave traveled forward in time as they described, then the concept of saying "its should get there now" is meaningless. It will get there thousands of years in the future and then the Maximals (or in this case Predacons) will send help who will arrive whenever their time machines are set to arrive. Time travel really makes things complicated -__-
There is a leftover portal that the cast used in the first episode that causes anything that goes near it to travel back and forth through time. That how the wave reach future cybertron and, when the Agent went to follow the wave source, hit the same portal and travel to the past. It actually shown later on. Here it is around the 2 minute mark: th-cam.com/video/ZI9X2UXZFo4/w-d-xo.html

Part 2 end
Part 3: the maximals awaken after the reformatting.
Part 3 end.
Lio convoy was a maximal born far after optimus primal

Here's a question, after Ravage failed to return why didn't the Tripredacus Council send another agent?
Reaching prehistoric Earth in the state that the two factions were warring on required transwarping, and the only cruiser they had was destroyed with Ravage.

Lawful evil
