Silverbolt, perhaps, but he made it pretty clear in the season 1 finale that he had planed ahead for Rhinox's treachery when using his spark for Tankor. Having just recently watched both Beast Wars and Beast Machines both for the first time, it showed a good bit of cunning on Megatron's part that he did indeed remember how Rhinox behaved when reprogrammed into a Predicon back in BW season 1, and actually planed around it.
I think it interesting that Obsidian refers Strika as his consort. Consort is another word for husband or wife. Basically, Strika and Obsidian are a couple or married.
actually, i don't think they really mention primus or the original primes in any of the beast wars/beast machines. I don't think they worship the same 'religion' if thats what you wanna call it. But they do seem to hold vector sigma in high regard.

There are many underutilized characters that need another shot, such as Stratosphere, Lugnut, the RID 2001 Decepticon Commandos (Mega Octane, Movor, Armorhide, Ro-Tor and Rollbar), Skullgrin, and yes, Obsidian and Strika.
The greatest sin was Megatron not activating a Titan sized Cybertronian - like Megaplex or Trypticon --given the amount of time he had prior to the Maximals arrival, he could've easily. But then again, first rule of being a ruler - ensure loyalty above all else - be it loved or feared, but you can not be a ruler if you are the only subject
To be fair, we don't even know if those exist anymore. Maximals and Predacons were downsized because of the shortage of energon, so it's reasonable to think the titans may have been taken offline. A relic of Cybertronian history
Out of all the Megatron's beasts Wars/Machine it's the only Megatron that successfully accomplish his goal to rule. His failure is just like all villians he talk to much.
Obsidian was supposed to get a show accurate deluxe class toy unfortunately Hasbro for reasons unknown scrapped it just like the sequel line Transtech,sighs.

Obsidian and strika were great addition to the late stage of beast machines unlike the other general spark who were corrupted by megatron they act completely of their own free will because they are loyal to cybertron itself, not to a specific person and will take order from whoever is in charge of the planet, whether they have good or evil intentions.
It likely he corrupted them to a point. Megatron feared dark rhinox so he seal his memories and personality. The tanktor post awakening seem like the time rhinox was a predacon.

Considering that Nightscream wrecked the giant Megatron head with the same attack, that's some damn impressive firepower from Strika. 5:01 Also, this is definitely one of Cheetor's shining moments across both BW _and_ BM.

To be fair, Beast Wars and Beast Machines take place in the future. It's not unlikely that Obsidian and Strika became the greatest generals in Cybertronian history much later after G1. As a matter of fact there was had to be a eon long gap between G1 and BW and BM since by the time of BW, Cybertroians had taken on much smaller body types to save on energon ,so that gives plenty of time to allow Obsidian and Strika to become incredibly well known.
It's interesting to think what could've been in a post-Beast Machines world. Obsidian and Strika wouldn't have been reformatted, and you can assume there are plenty of colonies out there that faired similarly. That on top of the existing Predacon/Maximal hostility? I'm smelling a huge civil war brewing...

Destiny Heero Prime They already explained why in beast machines. Megatron had there sparks and placed them into new vehicon bodies. Obsidian and strika’s goal was always to protect cybertron even before becoming vehicons since they were always known as cybertron’s greatest generals. And since megatron became cybertron itself in the show they decided serve under his command to wipe out the maximals. I do understand we still don’t know much about there past but I doubt we will find out more anytime soon.

@@humangirl2122 I was talking about the Aero Drones that was lead by Jetstorm (who had Silverbolt's Spark) and the Tank Drones lead by Tankor (who had Rhinox's Spark) and Megatron should have use Inferno and Quickstrike's Sparks to create a new Jetstorm and Tankor. The drones commanded by Strika are the Artillery Drones not the Tank Drones and when a Transformer dies, his/her Spark leaves his/her body and heads back to Cybertron and is store in the Spark Chamber.

To be fair, Beast Wars and Beast Machines take place in the future. It's not unlikely that Obsidian and Strika became the greatest generals in Cybertronian history much later after G1. As a matter of fact there was had to be a eon long gap between G1 and BW and BM since by the time of BW, Cybertroians had taken on much smaller body types to save on energon ,so that gives plenty of time to allow Obsidian and Strika to become incredibly well known.
Maybe they are around during the Quintesson Revolution.

It's interesting to think what could've been in a post-Beast Machines world. Obsidian and Strika wouldn't have been reformatted, and you can assume there are plenty of colonies out there that faired similarly. That on top of the existing Predacon/Maximal hostility? I wished obsidian and strika appears more often than not. They have so much potential in other media such as cartoons and movies.

that's because she thought he had silverbolt's until later she found out that he was holding waspinator's spark then found out jetstorm was holding silverbolt's spark.
It was kind of a waste of a story line. Once Thrust turned out to be Waspinator everything interesting about him was dropped.
She never really liked waspinator.

Obsidian looks like a scorpion and Strika maybe a bear? I think in ages past, they were chosen from Maximals and Predicons to defend Cybertron from outside attacks. Most likely from whoever Tarantulus belongs to.
Transformers canon would have you believe that they were generics from some random G1 episode....but I like your idea better.
I wish we could see more obsidian and strika in the next coming transformers toy line and get a better understanding of their past or maybe have them appear in cyberverse not only as a fan service to us beast era fans but to also show us what they where like in the past

Destiny Heero Prime They already explained why in beast machines. Megatron had there sparks and placed them into new vehicon bodies. Obsidian and strika’s goal was always to protect cybertron even before becoming vehicons since they were always known as cybertron’s greatest generals. And since megatron became cybertron itself in the show they decided serve under his command to wipe out the maximals. I do understand we still don’t know much about there past but I doubt we will find out more anytime soon.

Blackarachnia en sí su diseño lo veo como una mezcla entre su primera forma de beast wars y los colores un poco en su versión transmetal,aunque para la cancelada 3ra temporada de animated iba a tener sus colores originales. Igual no olvides a jetstorm q ocuparon sus colores y cara de bm solo cambiaron de cuerpo para ser el hermano gemelo de jetfire. Con waspinator literal lo hicieron más mamado y un poco aterrador pero igual de estúpido

@@humangirl2122 I was talking about the Aero Drones that was lead by Jetstorm (who had Silverbolt's Spark) and the Tank Drones lead by Tankor (who had Rhinox's Spark) and Megatron should have use Inferno and Quickstrike's Sparks to create a new Jetstorm and Tankor. The drones commanded by Strika are the Artillery Drones not the Tank Drones and when a Transformer dies, his/her Spark leaves his/her body and heads back to Cybertron and is store in the Spark Chamber.
