Thank you getting there now! Yeah it was definitely out of the blue that crash. I find when I am doing the jumps and gaps I am actually concentrating so rarely crash on those! It tends to be the easier stuff where I let my guard down. This one I was concentrating on the snacks back at the van and hit a post 😅
Its been great watching your vids this year and you showing mtb riding how it is and not from a pro rider point of view. I enjoy them alot. Can you send me the bike parks that you rode around europe and give me an idea on thecost of them and what types of accommodation there is near these or places you used?? Thanks.
Thank you! Stoked to hear that you have been enjoying the content! Yes of course that is no problem! The bike parks that we rode in Europe we began in Morzine which is a great hub for several good bike parks within riding distance. From Morzine we also drove to Champery for a day trip and also to Bernex bike park which are both around a 40 minute drive. Bernex is well worth a visit the trails are well maintained and the lift lines are much shorter. Definitely wait for a dry day to head there though as it is not great in the wet! After Morzine we headed to Italy where we rode Pila bike park, I wasn't massively stoked on this park if I am honest! By the time we got there it was really blown out, it is super dry there so may be better earlier in the season. From Pila we drove to Venice for a rest day and to break up the drive to Schladming. Schladming was an incredible bike park! We would have stayed longer if we had more time. It had a great mixture of trails and is also close to several other sick bike parks which sadly we did not have time to explore. This was the last bike park on the trip, after this we headed over to Amsterdam for a few days of tourism before catching the ferry back! With regards to hotels and accommodation we literally used booking.com and chose places close to the lifts on a map. It worked pretty well for us. People leave pretty detailed reviews so you know what you are getting. It is also worth checking that the hotels have parking on site as that can be a bit of a pain in some places! Hope this helps 👊
@@jez5180 I took my downhill bike, to be honest you would be fine on either I guess it depends what you plan on riding. If you are riding park all day then 100% the downhill but if you are wanting to mix it up a little and do some pedal access trails then the downhill bike will limit you there
@FranDawson The dh sounds the way forward then. My dh gets changed into a downduro (rear wheel cassette from an enduro 12 speed and shifter onto the downhill bike) its the best of both worlds. How did you get into being sponsored by orange??

Big jumps and gap jumps scare me. A crash like yours is what I'm scared of. 😱 Good you are recovering.

@FranDawson I forgot one important question, what bike or bikes did you use on your bike travels?? I have an enduro and dh bike to choose from.
