Yeah. This is like a completely new layout outside of the initial start. Maybe because a lot of new constructions going on the site factoring to? More forest tracking than steep downhill on the valley. It shorter too.
This 0:46 reminds me of downhill domination where you can kick your opponent down but this time in real life. 😂 Jokes aside, hopefully he was okay though. This FPV is insane! The speed going downhill with all those rocks!

Hadn't watched any downhill bike videos and then I stumbled on your Peru race one where you started 200 M? behind the pack... and you won. You are crazy aggressive. Besides being physically fit and having nerves of steel - your mental toughness to constantly be picking a course is amazing.
What an amazing ride. You knew that course better than me knowing the back of my hand! every short cut and line (without missing a gate like the other rider did near the start). Much better result than last year, congrats 🤙💪💪
This hill, @ 7:51 proves how much youve still got in the tank! Well done, and it was pretty cool to see how your breathing synced up with your pedal speed going up. Awesome.
I didn't even mention line choice in the first 5 minutes, wow. Just wow. Full commitment, and smooth execution. Even the guy in front skipping a gate couldn't stop you getting in front anyway.
That's the most exhilarating video I've ever watched that took some guts to go at those speeds. My heart was in my mouth. wow the bottom section of the course where they used to take you through what looks like a pub and then onto the insane steps on the hiking trail is all different now, looks like they built a real mtb trail for this, which is nice, the hiking steps were super sketchy looking and the new sections just as steep and gnarly without being plain annoying with all the waterbars and short corners not designed for bikes.
@@davecrashes4905 it's probably just as simple as they didn't want bikes using the hiking trail. I know MoH was the only event that sent bikes down there. Those stairs were sketchy, which was awesome and a great test of skill, but they also looked annoying with how many huge steps/waterbars were on them plus super tight switchbacks that weren't designed with bikes in mind. Looking at Killian's past runs there were spots near the top where he basically had to stall to get around the corners, so they didn't have much flow, etc.

@@AlbertWesker_GOAT was the guy from the right even in the run? His position don't seems to be coming from the departure, i don't know what he was doing here..
Wow, the track was really different this year. Used to seeing yall go up and around the mountain then cutting through the valley. But this has been a long time coming. Coming back for this very specific video. Im sure as soon as you took 1st, that was a huge morality boost. But it sucks it wasn't the same track as it was last year. But kudos my dude, you earned it.🤙 Now all we gotta do is get you in 1st on megavalanche and you'll be golden
Was thing the exact same thing. Not a huge fan of that course layout this year but incredibly impressive riding as always.
I'm with you on that. Not a fan of this course layout.
Yeah. This is like a completely new layout outside of the initial start. Maybe because a lot of new constructions going on the site factoring to? More forest tracking than steep downhill on the valley. It shorter too.
0:40 The man from nowhere and ...fail 🤣🤣🤣
This 0:46 reminds me of downhill domination where you can kick your opponent down but this time in real life. 😂 Jokes aside, hopefully he was okay though. This FPV is insane! The speed going downhill with all those rocks!
@@saquitojqm foo speak english
Was expecting to see a water bottle fly from this guy onto somebody
What exactly happened there? Why did the guy come out of nowhere? Did he also ride with the other rider but took a shortcut or so?
@@Yuffie84yeah Im confused too
this is seriously one of the coolest things i have ever seen. and i dont even care about montain biking. i was literally holding my breath at times
The speedometer puts things into perspective. The amount of fitness you need to keep up that speed is insane! 104 km/h at the beginning also is mindbending...jesus i could never. fat thumbs up dude!
106!
Killed it up the hills as usual! 👍👍
Iron-man lungs..
Toujours aussi impressionnant ! 😊
Félicitations pour cette superbe descente !
Hate riding a bike myself but it's impossible not to absolutely lose my mind watching this every year
Oui.
Much better result than last year, congrats 🤙💪💪
he won last year.
@@lynnjaxful he didn't, but I actually got confused with the puncture on Megavalanche when leading
The best example of IN THE ZONE
That's the most exhilarating video I've ever watched that took some guts to go at those speeds. My heart was in my mouth. I really thought you would crash at some points, especially when it looked like the track had literally disappeared from in front of you. Well done, you deserved that win. Hats off to you.👍👍👍👍👍
Kilian 😮
From 18:36...you must know that track really well to be that confident...OMG well done 👏🏻
well they do qualifying rounds and i believe practice rounds to get to know the track
@@ernestogastelum9123 Agree that is impressive ! I think all the top bikers knows the track very deeply ,they probably practise the track even during their sleep !
Been waiting a year for this one Kilian honestly, i got hooked watching you're videos when i saw the 2020 version. Rooting for you💪🏼
I am racing in NICA if anybody has heard of that and watching this I feel so hyped for my next race, even though he was huffing and puffing and working his a$$ off he kept going, respect to you bro good job😊
the wiping off the camera really is a clever way to conceal when he wiped out and had to reload at a checkpoint. well done!
Congratultaion, Kilian!🏆 Support you always and hope you are gonna take home the first place at megavalanche next year!🏆🏆🏆🏆🔥🔥🔥🔥🎉🎉🎉🎉
i hope this year! ;-)
@@KoenSpaansen yeah
So did he win this race or am I missing something?
2:46 the guy initially in the lead missed going through the markers and gained a massive lead advantage. Was he penalised for this?
Great Question. At first I thought Kilian was doing a losing line, then I saw the markers and thought, that other dude is DQ'd!
i was so intriged by it that i went to see on the official leaderboard to check if he was noted Dnf or something and you can see he got a 20sec penalty on his time. Number 135 and another cyclist got a different "final time" than their chrono time.
He did this twice, again at 2:48 - 2:53. And I'm only 5 min in. Came down here to see what people are saying about it.
I'm more concerned about what happened after 0:43, where was that guy on the right coming from?
hit other riders and cutting massive penalty
Congratulations on yet another Mountain of Hell win Killian. You own this track. And best of luck for the upcoming Megavalanche. Hopefully, you can get the win this year. You deserve it more than anyone after what happened last year.
I appreciate how good this guy is. His vision, reaction and balance along with his STAMINA is amazing. Going over 65mph at one point and continously going downhill at speeds avg. 25-30 mph is crazy.
This has to be be most underrated sport in the world.
Congrats! It was really cool to include the speed. It’s something that not everyone can do at those speeds. It would be really cool if you include a heart rate monitor for the whole race and it would be even more cool to see a Wattage.
Safe to say he's at max or near-max heart rate for the entire run. Wattage though has to be insane. Especially that uphill part.
@@Shawn-wt4kh I still would like to know if he is averaging 170 to 200 HR, but the wattage would be interesting.
There’s about 8,000 moves in this video that are made so easily with pinpoint accuracy. Insane.
This is just a crazy ride, so exhilarating I felt I was there. Thank you so much.
My God, everyone who completed this race should be a winner.
hello to you from kyrgyzstan i have been watching your videos for a long time i wish you good luck in other races 🇰🇬🇰🇬🇰🇬🇰🇬🇰🇬
Wahou ! C'est de la descente de folie ! Merci aussi pour le compteur kilométrique 😀🖐️🇫🇷 Bravo !
Duuuuuuuude... The speed, the cornering, the shortcuts, the overall technique.... But the best part of these POV videos is that for 23 minutes and 53 seconds I get to believe I'm a much better rider than I am, and much fitter than I am 😄. Thank you @KilianBron for letting us ride on your helmet 🙂
Hola donde hacen esta competencia?
Wow, that’s some amazing riding! I could tell all the training you did paid off big time during this race. You pulled away from everyone and the technical skill is off the charts too. Congratulations.
Wow, Kilian Bron, what a machine. Incredible, I'm 64 and I wish they had this around when I was your age !!!!
Watching this guy winning this competition year after year is amazing!
Pulsoximeter readout would be an awesome add, showing how the oxygen saturates the blood differently at height compared to down in the valley.
who cares about the data, when he is just killing it?
I don't know what this says, but I agree, dude is just zoomin past that checkpoint with no regard. After taking out guy at start too, pure villain energy.
@@pwndnoob4937 making fun of the guy who skipped the checkpoint and some mild disappointment that the ice/snow section from previous years near the start of the race isnt present here. 2nd post clarified that the cheater took a 20seconds penalty for it at the end.

i kid you not im enjoying this as much as the motorbike racing at the isle of man ...i cant believe the speeds your doing in parts of this run
Congratulations. Fantastic run and video. The speedometer is great. 🎉
Einfach unglaublich!
I wish we had more mass start MTB events like this. You get to see proper racing like in motocross. I wonder if they could come up with a new downhill event with shorter tracks than this but wider than normal DH tracks where you have 20-40 riders all at once, so fun to watch
I came from the Megavalanche video and i missed your thoughts. :) Anyways nice run Kilian.
You are legend on the Mountain of Hell.
I watch every race since 2017 I think and you win almost every year.
Well Done .
Greetings from Serbia
Nice stuff. It would be nice to have a vertical angle indicator (e.g. artificial horizon) to show just how steep these places are
Yes, pictures can never capture the steepness. Not even close.
0:46 ... rofl ...
mario cart moves here :D
2:52 did that guy just ignored the route? o_O
14:58 this is begging for crashes ... what the fuck is that route? o0
T'es un ouf...
T'es un monstre!
Mais t'es un ouf!
Immense respect!
Passing on that upward hill, savage and methodical
wow the bottom section of the course where they used to take you through what looks like a pub and then onto the insane steps on the hiking trail is all different now, looks like they built a real mtb trail for this, which is nice, the hiking steps were super sketchy looking and the new sections just as steep and gnarly without being plain annoying with all the waterbars and short corners not designed for bikes.
I noticed the same thing. Those stairs were incredibly sketchy
