  • me again,
I've had one heck of a summer adventure... But I've run out of pavement heading west. It's time to turn around, and make the trek back home to Colorado. But the ride back hasn't exactly been smooth sailing... Rio and I take refuge at a truck stop after dealing with the chaos.

I'm an old retired truck driver. I also did a tour in the Navy in the seventies. I've been a lot of places and interacted with a lot of people. I am moved by your courage and humility. All lot of people get knocked down and give up. You got up. You inspire people to get up and be who your heart wants you to be. May the spirits light your path and protect you on your journey. You are not alone.

"The heart is a good compass". Loved that. As someone 73 and just a poor pensioner I'm stuck in my apartment in Canada and my times living in Panama, Ecuador and Mexico are now over so I enjoy your travels vicariously. Add that you are a stunningly beautiful and wise girl whose words always inspire me and I am certainly a big fan. Thank you.

I don't know if or how much you saved during your lifetime, but I am 77, have owned several tow behind campers and pickup trucks in my lifetime, but am able to average camping about a week of every month, but usually lump most of it in the spring and fall. My longest trip was 3 months to Alaska several years ago, but I have been to every US state during my life, plus Canada and Panama. If you made it a high priority and were creative, I bet you could find a way to travel, but I don't know anything about Canadian retirement.

As a 30 year car guy whose time has been spent in service, I was very impressed at your ability to recognize a problem that could get worse, find the source of the issue and do a temporary (and effective) emergency repair. I have been watching your channel for several years and have watched all your videos. It has been wonderful to watch you grow as a person, you are definitely not the same person you were when you started the channel. I wish you many blessings - cheers!

This was worth the wait to see. I personally don't know too many people at your age who could accomplish the things your've done already. Being on your own on the bus for 5 years then the purchase of your home I'm in awe of the courage. I'm 63 and I have more time behind me than in front of me now and I wish I could have done the same thing as you but my path was certainly different. Thats why its great to see your videos I love the places you go to and your friend are just the best support team. The rowmance thing is going to all fall into place in time. Oh and I loved the fact you didn't edit the sneeze out of the video. - All The best to you and Rio

You are so brave, beautiful and encouraging! I just love everything about you. I am a newly divorced mother of two boys. I am 43 years old and am just now being thrown into a TON of responsivity alone. I have taken two incomes worth of bills overnight. I am also homeschooling my 15 year old and runny my small business' from home. I get OVERWEHLED a lot! And am often unsure how I will get everything paid. I watch your videos as I am working from my laptop a lot, and love all the advice, and encouragement you give. You inspire me to keep moving and to step back from it all and look at the bigger picture. Life is amazing! I am beyond blessed to have my own home, have two amazing boys, and to be able to own my own business! I to am brave, beautiful and will also encourage my self to bust my ass and build my business so that I can build a life for my babies! Thank you for everything! I get so excited when I see you post a new video. I love you and Rio! I am so proud of you! God bless!

When you are a 72 year old geezer like me who made it through one heart attack a Sepsis infection that almost killed me and a cancer survivor you don't have to worry about following dreams anymore I live through the dreams of my daughter and grand children. Glad you follow yours and it takes you where you want to be. Good health and happiness to you.

Another great video Lyss. My internal 12 volt battery was depleated, and as usual, after watching, I'm back up to 13 volts! Okay, that sounded odd, but given your solar panel issue, I thought I would use an analogy that tied into your situation. You have grown so much over the past few years and you've got the soul of someone much older. That's a good thing. Enjoy your time back home and thanks for reminding me of why the good fight is worth it. ❤

Bolts in vehicles that are not original equipment or holding fenders, engine components, suspension components will loosen from movement, vibration because they cannot be super tight. Any bolt in a use that is just tight or snug needs a threadlocking compound such as loctite red, blue or orange. Red is super holding for critical components and it very hard to get loose after it is cured. Orange provides a good hold and easier to remove for service. If they are bolts with nuts holding the bolt then the nut needs to be a nylock style nut. It has a nylon insert that clamps around the threads of the bolt. Lock washers require the bolt to be super tight to crush the lock washer so a nylock is the better choice. Thread locker is made for blind threaded holes where you cant have a nut exposed.

Unsolicited health advice from a stranger: Mexico City has top TBI medical care. They have hyperbaric oxygen clinics that only cost $13 per session. Get yourself 80 sessions. If you can’t travel, build your own chamber.

No, you’re not an obsessed creep are you Bobby? Just what an attractive young woman living alone in a remote location wants to hear. Some middle aged brain damaged guy wants to load up his trailer and come looking for her, all just to “help her” of course. Reading your groomer statements sends chills down my spine. She should hope they NEVER release you to drive again. You’re a weirdo Bob.

FYI for more permanent zip ties that will be exported to sun use UV rated black ones . Good job with the temp repair

Alyssa, thanks for another fantastic video! You adapt so well to whichever environment you are in. You're in your element as you travel in your bus, but I think you do so well also in your home setting in Colorado. Definitely the view was great on top of the solar panels and it wasn't the surrounding area as much as the beautiful lady at work!! Another thing, let me remind you that you might be sweaty, smelly, and feeling dirty, but you are never gross 😊 You're a very beautiful woman even without makeup, beautiful is as beautiful does, and you rock that department well 💯 Wishing you a wonderful week at home! Love you young lady and I pray for you 💞🙏🌺🌺

Awesome video girl!!! Glad you got to get away in the bus for a while. It's always great to have a home base to come back to your very own parking spot!!!! Can't wait to see where life takes you next.

This is the first time I have seen your channel. I started my business life at 14 and had several businesses over the years, 3 wives adopted kids and so on, but never took the time to do what you are doing. I feel like my life is gone and I never saw much of anything - nothing but work. Your doing it right. I wish I could have done what you are doing. I hope your life continues on the way you want it to. I admire you! PS I love your beautiful eyes !!

The white tie-wraps are OK for a while but they are not UV resistant like the black ones! Black ones are usually UV resistant, had black ones at the plant last 20 years! 😁😁

You can take a shower with bottled water the hand held ones! It takes 5 or six but it is refreshing and you can put them in the microwave and warm them up!!!

Replace the plastic zip ties with stainless steel zip ties. Unlike the plastic ones that will become brittle from the sun and break the stainless steel zip ties will last forever and are probably fifty times stronger.

I would replace the missing bolt w/ double-nuts & do the rest of them the same & install one SS zip tie @ each bolt location...IF this was my Bus RV. Then I wouldn't have to worry about it, unless it's vandalized or I happen to roll-it over a cliff, etc. 🤣
