Hey I’m about to buy one of these for my 1500. Do you know if you are still able to use cruise control when having the Range tech installed?

What about those of us with the 10 speed transmission? Is there something for us?

Had this on my truck since I bought it brand new. Easily worth every penny.

I just bought it today 100% worth it. My truck already shifts way smoother

Why not with the 10 speed transmission? It shouldn't have anything to do with the transmission type, only the cylinders right?

My Silverado is a 2009 5.3 V8...when I first start it and drive it for 30 seconds or so I hear a little knocking sound in the engine. Then sometimes while driving it'll just kind of shudder, like something startled it. Is that the kind of thing this device is intended to fix? Really don't want to go to the dealership and just have them start trial and error going everything if I can avoid it. Thanks.

Is this the same item “S511432”? I’m being told on the website; as well as when I call in. That this will work on my 2021 GMC Sierra with the 6.2L V8. Is this correct? At the beginning of this video he says excluding the V8s. Thanks.

My only issue with something like this, is that it plugs into the OBD port. Couple of issues, one minor one is that something plugged into the port prevents the system from reporting issues to your Chevy app. The app will show you a faulty emissions system or something. However, that being said, I DO have something always plugged into my OBD port, a BANKS PEDAL MONSTER. I find I’d rather have good acceleration than GM spying on the truck. I just unplug it once a month to get the status report, then plug it back in. So here is another gizmo that will help performance, BUT YOU ONLY HAVE ONE OBD port!! I need a way to run both devices, some kind of OBD splitter. But now you have to wonder if all these gadgets will kill your ECM sooner or later. I found that the PEDAL MONSTER threw a lot of codes in there after doing a brake job and suddenly had a bunch of brake system failure codes. Had to go in and kill a bunch of pedal monster ghost codes to get things back to normal

I bought one 4 years ago, used it for about 15k miles. It worked good to keep the engine in v8. But I kept feeling like the transmission would downshift much harder on medium braking, like exiting a highway ramp(felt like maybe torque converter)-I’m not even sure how they would be related. Maybe just me, but I stopped using it cause of that. I figure the $$$ GM puts into the stock 5.3l computer stuff works fine. I have a 18 Silverado with 95k miles now- no problems. Always change my oil at 5k miles

Works great for me, have used it for the last year and a half and have no issues with my truck what so ever

Wouldnt make me feel any better with the collapsable lifters in the truck, do it right or just avoid these trucks.
