What’s up Will, I live in Florida I am a carnivore 90% of my meat is beef, from what I see in that butcher shop plus they have US prices, is there anywhere else you can get a cheaper beef or steaks? I eat steak every day and I get better prices in Florida than in a Vietnam.thanks for the great job you do , I will be in Da Nang next year in the summer or a spring
Dairy is more expensive because they don't have cows. I think they have hybrid cows/water buffalos that can handle the heat and that is where domestic beef comes from. I don't think dairy cows can handle the heat so that's probably all imported, unless they have them in the far northern part of Vietnam.
Yep that's a big part of the reason why beef is not so cheap. Pork and chicken is much cheaper. But throughout the world pork and chicken is always cheaper than beef as well.
the cost of feeding cows is much higher than feeding pigs or chickens, fishes here then even local beef, dairy cows get higher price than imported pigs, chicken...but the local dairy milk like Vinamilk is quite cheap compared to imported milk. They have a big cow farm factory in the plateau of North VN n they are also a billion dollar stock company. The price in VN now compared to 20 years ago was much more reasonable to local ppl for daily cost living.
So in the past I've always left by September. This year I'll actually be here all the way to the end of the year. So everyone says that rainy season is from September to basically December or early January. But we've had very little rain so far. That would be the rainiest time I just don't know how much rain is actually going to come this year. Some locals believe there's going to be a good amount of rain and some locals think that there's not going to be that much rain. So it's really hard to tell. But it will not be as humid and hot during that time as earlier in the year. Also the rumor is you get better rental prices at that time

@@cryptopolus1518 beef is not cheap in Vietnam or Asia. And the quality isn't as good. But the butcher shop ground beef is the cheapest I seen here.
@@gigigap6025 yea I noticed that is true.
Question Will, I’m is Vietnam in mid October - I want to check out Danang but worried about the rain, is it worth going that time of year ? Thanks
Also the rumor is you get better rental prices at that time
@@Willtravelz thanks for the reply
Personal question. What do you do for work? I'm thinking of coming up.
Only TH-cam. Just got monetized last month.
@@Willtravelz Awesome. Im in Bali and want to do a TH-cam channel to teach Indonesian kids how to speak English, buut my agesnts are telling me I'm not allowed to even if I have started a business here. I'll do it in Vietname, eh.
Cost of 1 dozen pasture raised eggs? Is the beef from Cows?
They actually just raised the price of eggs a couple weeks ago. But they are still very cheap the cost one dozen eggs is 36,000 vnd or $1.40. and the ground beef of course is from cows. At the butcher shop they even have imported beef from Australia and New Zealand and a few other places that you can purchase.
Sour cream the prices about right that’s what it cost nowadays in the US
That's crazy I used to get a big tub of sour cream for about 3 bucks. But I wouldn't be surprised if the price jumped up a lot.
It’s all crazy everywhere!
I was wondering what you’re doing there anyway? I’m gonna have to look at your videos and see if I can figure it out but I’m about ready to try it out for myself. I’m 60 years old. Been wanting to do this for the longest time but in Mexico
But seeing all these videos about Thailand and Vietnam Bali, I want to experience that too
@@KarenLedesma-w8i yep I know. Which is why I'm very happy with how cheap it is to live here in Da Nang Vietnam. Basically all my bills every month come out to be less than $750 a month.
@@KarenLedesma-w8i I actually work online but I'm in the process of possibly making a move next year. I will make a video of it soon. I've been to 9 countries in Europe and nine countries in Asia, I really like Thailand especially Bangkok but it definitely cost more in Thailand than here in Da Nang.
👍💛
nice thanks. subbed today..
@@End_Illegal_Apartheid_israhell thank you. I appreciate it. I will be uploading more videos shortly. 👍👍
Hi Will, do you have to pay cash for everything or can you use card payments? How do you pay for your rent? Can you pay by direct debit? Do you have to have a Vietnamese bank account or do you use a Wise Card? Talk to me about money Will please.
Myself personally 99% of the time I just use cash. Some places do accept card but I just usually have cash on me and it's much more easier and simple. They use an app out here called zalo. I don't have it and I don't use it but everything I practically buy including my rent I pay in cash. But at the bigger stores you could pay with debit card too.
How big is your apartment and you have kitchen for what price
My apartment is about 70 square meters or about 800 sq ft. I have a full size kitchen with full size refrigerator two burners on the stove a microwave and everything else. I pay $550 US Dollars which includes rent electricity internet Netflix.
Have you been to Nha Trang, and if so which place would you prefer to live ..

Can you comment on how much you spend in total monthly expenses ?? Please and thank you. 😎🌎🇵🇦🇺🇸🤙
This past month I spent $720 a month by myself. If I downgrade to a one-bedroom from this two bedroom I can get that down to about $550. I just posted a monthly budget for two people two months ago.
Where can I find a good Visa strategy since we have to leave every 3 months?
@@randyxray4404 there's basically only two options either fly out of the country and wait 3 to 5 days to get a new EVISA to return. Or you could take a bus to Laos and leave early in the morning and come back that same night. I have done both of those options already
in Asia always have something cheap but are not sure about hygiene They also have some luxury high-end products, but based on your money in the West I'm not sure have any cheap quality ???
@@TheRebornofSocialVietSub actually they do have more luxury condos as well I might do a video showing those. They are definitely cheaper than the United States but they're probably about double the price that I'm paying now in that range. I've never been sick here eating any food while traveling also. yeah in asia, we considred the cheese, milks, cream as premium, because that's not kind of a staple food here that people consume everyday. Most of Asians will have different meals, and it cheaps. Unlike for westerners, milk, cheese thats an everyday staple meal that they consumed daily. But yeah, thats the downside. coz i love milk. and cheese. :(
