Expert level understanding from a homie on the discord for victimize. Because the “choose” verbiage makes from some good magic lingo, cheers ! Interpretation of victimize, “Well in victimize's case it's a bit different from other spells of the type. You target as the spell goes on the stack. Meaning people can respond to the spell BEFORE you choose a creature to sacrifice as the sacrifice cost is only paid AS it resolves. Unlike Dread return in which you target FIRST and then sac as part of the cost BEFORE it hits the stack.” Brilliant stuff.
Hey I just finished assembling my version of this deck so revisiting this vid. Found a few new additions that could be good. *Accursed marauder from MH3 is a cheaper mana version of flashbag *The ozlith to save lost 1/1 counters from dead nagul (you may haven mentioned that one) *Escape containment, mills 5 and brings a creature back but you also repeat the process again *** & my fav new addition from duskmourn is metamorphosis fanatic. 6 mana cost so normally it would suck , but in this deck he is cheated out so it doesn't matter. But when he enters he brings yet another creature from the gravyard with him ( especially nice if you want them to keep thier high attack power by not bringing them back with sauron) , & both creatures have lifelink. I put sheoldred the apocalypse in too. Would be amazing to bring her back using that guy *Also grave titan, I know he is overused in general but with a sauron hit that's 4 free zombies instantly as he is entering & attacking at the same time just like archon of cruelty does in this deck
@@ANARCHY-nr2lq Yo Anarchy, do be careful as the creatures are already attacking so unfortunately you will not get to perform the act of attacking to get that trigger, but hey they are great anyways right?! That is genius to get a free resurrection that sticks too and gets around the Sauron restriction, I love that, ozolith is completely demented, and seems so great here as things are getting removed all the time when we are in these colors. The marauder was one I tried one time and I was so upset I could not sac it to itself when it was in token form resurrected from Sauron- so I kind of binned it, but it is always on my mind just because it is efficient on its own-it even dumped on a card like Nadu for a moment there. Let me know if you post a list or want to share it on here, that would be real cool to see what you cooked!
@titanovixdecktechmtg hey, that's funny timing, I wish I had read this earlier. I found out about the archon/titan double trigger not working during commander night the other day lol. Was a little disappointed but they are still so great in this deck. On the bright side, after playing a early buried alive, I was able to use sauron to bring back fanatic who brought back sheoldred the apocalypse with a lifelink counter and then pop off a memory jar to get 56 extra life :D that was sick, first time breaking over 100 life for me in a commander game (I dont have a lifelink deck) but still lost the game to a combo haha I did also add 1 black mana "sam's desperate rescue" to have a cheaper way to reuse some low cost creatures like stichers supplier to get more value before bringing back again with sauron, plus later in the game getting that extra ring temps trigger for cheap when you are out of nazgul is amazing for 1 mana. Dropped it when I had 4 nazgul out & 3 other creatures that sauron had returned as wraiths, was like a mini overrun affect with those 4 extra 1/1 added to them all
I will be honest Sauron is a commander that I have not really had a chance to play in person, on arena the lines that were always impressive were the ones that included gray merchant and panharmonicon, the angel seems especially cool here, I wonder if retooling it I could include your death choices too, is that generally your team up with those 3 cards?
@titanovixdecktechmtg Yes, rssentially those are the big three. They all synergize with your commander really well. Konrad likes to see creatures enter or leave the yard. Exiling a creature from the yard trìggers him. The bats love the tokens you make. The angel helps get things in the yard. Id would siggest three sac outlets. Lord of the Forsaken is a demon (for your sub theme) that for 1 black you sac a creature and target player mills three. That helps you fill the tard but also helps the triggers for things getting sac'd. Also Viscera seer a free sac outlet that lets you scry 1 per sac that also goes super well with t he citadel and woesteider (another free sac outlet). Thats all id change. The deck is great, but if you want fo include those three youll wanna be able to have multiple reliable sac outlets. One you want the pings from Konrad, but if you havent made Sauron your ringbearer those wraiths will exile (not die) so you could sac the tokens to trigger Konrad/bats. Konrad will also love all the forced sacrifice youre having the other players do. Oh, and sometimes you might be about to take a big hit from a green or gruel player and you dont wanna mill that much to the angel or she maybe setved her purpose for the moment youll wann be able to sac her. Shell be in the yard later for Sauron that way. I havent been able toplay with the flip Sheoldred, but i have Whispering One in my deck to help with killing things for each oppenent and a ressurection for me on upkeep. Just a thought. Excellant deck though! ♥ Thanks for the share. 🤘

Have you considered Angel of Suffering? She turns damage youd be dealt into self mill to help fill the yard. Theres also Konrad and Mirkwood bats too.

@ yo what an awesome response, I will definitely get into this and see what I can move around, very cool!
@titanovixdecktechmtg
Thank you. 😁 Glad to help. I hope you make the deck the best that it can be for you and that it brings you alot of joy. 😁🤘
Hey my friend, I made a gameplay deck about your suggestions just now, they were awesome! Thanks!
Nazgul are like 10$ a pop though.
Indeed, a steep price, you could likely find other ways to build the yard, overall good fit here.
