I thought I’d really like this phone. However, that not been the case. Nothing seems to work properly at all. As it stands now I’m probably returning it and go back to my old phone. I just don’t understand why someone can’t make a simple phone. The best phone I ever had was a Motorola Razor flip phone. This was decades ago. Cheers!

I just switched over to the Nokia 3210 (2024 edition) and it's been incredibly solid so far. I've been thoroughly enjoying it, so if the flip phone doesn't last, its a good option!
Straight to the point, clear voice, nice video. I hope KAI OS improve their system performance and focus on improving feature phones in 2020s onwards. This phone is so cool, if only it has whatsapp, because all my friends and family gonna be mad if they have to pay for sms to communicate with me lol Also, love your adowableee cats
@@ohkadde6621 Some KAI OS feature phones does have whatsapp but it doesn't use the up down right left to navigate like old Symbian phones, it use cursor and the direction button use like mouse, its terrible to use. Sometimes whatsapp call doesn't connected and ring and some text doesn't receive. Too bad.
I have the 2760, which is basically the same phone but without the SD card slot and FM radio. I had the snow screen problem too, but I noticed it stopped happening when I removed some apps I had downloaded. Not sure if there was a true cause and effect. Sometimes technology works in mysterious ways.

@@mei-fi3db thank you so much for the comment ! so in total i used the phone for 6 months, i use my iphone again now, i would say mostly because the os is faster. the nokia held up great tho. the os never ran super fast to begin with, but it didn’t get slower over time or anything. it just got frustrating personally haha. the battery life held up great. battery lasts wayyyy longer than my iphone still. one thing is i realized that i was definitely missing some texts from group chats cause sometimes they didn’t work i guess. so people were like “why didn’t you respond” and i was like “what i didn’t even see your text” 😅. my biggest annoyance was the email app cause while i didn’t miss any emails or anything, it was slow to load emails. i was also having trouble downloading photos that people texted to me if the photo’s resolution was too high. i believe this was always a problem but it seemed to be happening more frequently as time went on. had to tell people to email me instead lmao. so overall it was still a really good simple phone, it did take longer to do simple tasks like send a text or email so you’re better off just calling people haha. it was great for my mental health tho, and now i have “dumbed down” my iphone. i think everyone should at least try it. living the simple life 🤙

If you have the music files, you can load them onto the micro SD card and then transfer the card to the phone. I don't have this phone, but I am interested.
For music, try if it has the seeker client so tou can download the music directly from it. Its a client hosted kinda thing (torrent), a lot of flac files and high quality music dhared by the users

I just bought the Nokia 2660. I assume they are the same? Even before putting in the SIM-Card, it drove me crazy, because it did not have a button, so you could open it up with one hand. So every time I try to open it with one hand, I will touch the Volume button, changing the Volume either to the highest, or to silent mode. And the crazy thing is: you can’t lock the Volume button😫
yes it has Bluetooth the lady said she transfers music from her computer by using Bluetooth so it should have earbud support and also my sister has the similar phone and it has Bluetooth

Bought a 2870 2 weeks ago. I don't agree that it's flimsy. It's got a solid feel to it and seems durable. One thing NO ONE brings up is the hinge..The design of this one's is very strong and looks to be tough if when phone is dropped (dropped mine 2 times now, but only 1.5 feet / no damage). The worse way is when we drop them with the lid open and more so when it falls and falls on the two wings, face down !.. Other thing: When you're on a call, hold the lid/screen only, and let hinge support the keypad wing of the phone, otherwise holding it on it's body (keypad) you're tending to press ON the screen / hinge with your ear, over time poss loosening/stretching hinge/axle . These are things I've come up with which may or may not be valid...
does it have voice to text typing? like i saw it looked like there was a google assistant voice typing thing on there are you able to talk and it can type out what you're saying in a text message?
no not in text messages, but in the google maps app yes it does have speech to text. which makes no sense to me cause if it can do it in google maps why can’t it do it in the texting app ? lol.

sometimes i will receive a photo that is too high resolution and it wont open on my phone so i will have to have them email it to my computer instead. this has only happened like 3 times. i have not had issues sending picture messages yet
In the uk we have the Nokia 2660 which looks the same as this phone but we have micro usb instead of usb c and the camera is VGA which is bad . Does not have google maps. Why can’t Nokia have the same phone here as the one in the US. It’s ridiculous

it doesnt have lyft or bank apps. as for carplay i dont know for sure but i wanna say probably not since i dont think there is even a way to get the google maps to read the directions aloud. i was able to connect it to my car via blu tooth and play music but thats about it. hope that helps!
I think no. So far as I know, Nokia feature phones that has whatsapp only on Nokia Tough and Nokia 6300 4G but sadly Nokia 6300 4G now have problems with whatsapp :( so sad because I almost buy that phone, I love that phone :(

people keep asking this and i feel bad cause i’m not exactly sure… i don’t see anything in the settings that says wifi calling, but other people (on reddit lol) have said it does have it and it depends on your carrier. i have never been able to use wifi calling on it (i have at&t), so i can’t say for sure, and if it does have that feature then idk how to use it. sorry not the best answer.

@@yousuf_bzzz if you are asking can you import your contacts from google the answer is yes! i was able to do this very easily. when you first open the contacts app it will ask you to log into your gmail account and then all your contacts will show up.
the phone is supposed to have hotspot capabilities. apparently you have to activate it somehow in the settings. however i have looked multiple times through the whole settings app and can not figure it out, sorry.
@@emo_gril2001I read several times on Reddit that it’s an issue with certain carriers and that you can get it working by navigating to a certain web page. Don’t have the phone yet so not sure how that works either but several people mention this “trick”. Haha.

You can put 1 terabit sd card by changing the se card file to fat32. You can move video and music to phone, I use it as an mp3 player.
